I even told her that we had just used them to install a $15,000 heating system and that they should find the tenant or just eat this service which they charged me $50 for a ten dollar filter and $62 for what couldn't have taken more than two minutes to install. Shafer came out banged out the dents and got the system running for $175. Fast forward, the system stopped running a year later. Shafer did their best to repair it because our insurance company didn't want to pay for replacement, but it failed again this year. At this point they went above and beyond to show our insurance company how the initial damage from the ice had caused it to keep failing. This is a rental and they did the work I requsted but not satifactory. What they did want was to do a bunch of inspections and talked my tenant into charging me.
