It is! It's also a fundraiser for the fire department, which is awesome. Firefighters were roasting and serving the corn. It looked like it was unlimited and donations were appreciated which I was happy to oblige. Live music was really fun and upbeat in the tent with an homage to Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, which was really cool. There was some sort of racetrack going on on the far end which looked fun also. Plenty of carnival rides and vendors with crafts and more. The food tent also looked really good and fairly priced. plenty of easy access parking. The corn was definitely end and late in season and not very tasty, but it was still fun to go to a corn fest. And support the firefighters!

The kids love the rides. $20 and they ride all weekend. The roasted corn is free. I can usually kill two pieces. Then I spend $6 and buy a huge paper bag full of corn to take home to share with family, friends, and neighbors. All I see around me is families from all walks of life having barrels of fun with their kids and siblings. There is a huge playground here and you can also bring a cooler to picnic on the many picnic tables. Everyone is having so much fun. Check out the vendors too. Homemade ice cream is to die for. The food here is soo good. The bands, the families, the kids, best parade I've seen in a long time, the ambiance is all 5 stars and best of all, the kids are excited about coming here. I attended three events here in two weeks time. In January and into February. These included a…read morecharity evening fundraiser for JPAC Kids, 9 to 5, and the Janesville Honors Orchestra and Band concert. The fundraiser was well done, with the spacious side room with all of the art. The bar is so cute and small but they are able to get people in and out in a flash, and I feel the space would be lacking without it. 9 to 5 was such an amazing show, and I feel that JPAC did an excellent job with getting people in and out in an orderly fashion, the cast was perfectly lined up post show, where photos weren't interrupting other people. The Honors concert was a different story. JPAC can't do a ton about to, but there was SUCH a bottleneck post-show. It took us 20 minutes to get from the doorway in the back of the theatre to the stairs to leave. I should've looked, but I am hopeful that the emergency exits are off the sides and alleviate this. Otherwise, there has to be a way to create a double-wide doorway there even with trying to keep people out before the doors open for an event.

They don't have a direct line, just an answering service. The answering service staff was unhelpful and sounded irritated by taking a message. We were irritated for leaving messages that were never returned. If you have questions, reach out via the contact us option on their website at least 2 days in advance and you should be good. They are doing a lot with a little and making it enjoyable for the kiddos. Probably won't return but happy we tried it.

This weekend my husband and twin toddler sons went to Railfest at East Troy Electric Railroad. It…read morewas such a fun little event! They had trains doing rides every on the hour for a reasonable price and toddlers under 2 were free. Unfortunately, we didn't get to ride because the boys hadn't napped but it was so fun watching the trolleys and electric trains and hearing them go "choo choo" as my boys say. They had reasonable food - hot dogs and root-beer and model railroads to look at. My husband and k agreed that we will definitely bring the boys back next year and look forward to riding the trains! We also want to try the dinner train someday for a date night! How fun does that sound?!
