Marcus attached it at the exact height we wanted, hid the wires, and centered it.

Marcus is an expert at TV mounting! We just moved into a new build in the South Lake community of Bowie, MD and wanted a frame tv mounted on a stone facade over the fireplace. We were very nervous about possibly hitting the gas line or cracking the stone. Marcus put us at ease with his experience mounting on stone and explained to us that he was drilling into the frame of the house and wouldn't hit any pipes. He communicated with me over Yelp and even scheduled a phone call to talk through what we wanted done and provided very fair and reasonable pricing. He took just a little over an hour and a half to mount the tv and did it with perfection. We plan to call him back to mount our other TVs around the house. We highly recommend Marcus, especially to all the new neighbors moving into the South Lake community off 301.

This guy was AWESOME!! He arrived right at the scheduled time and was so professional and courteous. He patiently answered all of my boyfriend's 100 questions as he was working. He was super organized and didn't leave anything behind, even brought his own vacuum to clean up any dust at the end. He was in and out in an hour. I HIGHLY recommend him. Very responsive! Was earlier to the appointment which made planning around it easier for me. Due to the project (tv wall of 4 screens) the install process was very methodical but quick! Also installed various devices to help me have one picture on all 4 screens as well as 4 different videos on the 4 different screens (can watch further different football games at once. Marcus mounted my 65 in tv. From the start he was very responsive and quickly answered all my questions. He arrived early and sent me a text to let know exactly what time he would be here. He was very pleasant and professional and I felt very comfortable. Installation was quick even with all my indecisive-ness and he was very helpful in ensuring I got the best position/setup for me. As mentioned in other reviews, he wore shoe coverings and vacuumed afterwards. Also, he did provide each type of mount kit if you do not already have one. I will 100% recommend this service to everyone I know and call again when I move! read more

I purchased a TV on a Sunday and needed it mounted by Tuesday because I was going out of town. TV Geeks responded to my request for an estimate in less than 10 minutes. They, initially said they were unavailable. I explained my situation and they replied "Well if you are available at 7AM, I can get it done". They showed up on time, were professional, neat, did an OUTSTANDING job, and were reasonably priced. I truly appreciated their flexibility and professionalism. Covid protocols were respected. I highly recommend TV Geeks for anyone needing their large flat screened TVs professionally installed! Marcus texted me his estimated arrival time, arrived 5 minutes early with all necessary tools and accessories in hand. Upon entering my home, he immediately placed shoe covers on his feet to protect my floors, greeted me, and went straight to work. He hung my 75" TV perfectly and attached my components in less than 30 minutes! No wires, no mess, just total professionalism and expertise! Marcus responded before all of the other contractors, provided a specific quote in response to my project details rather than an automated message, and did not nickel and dime like others when it came to wall concealment. He gave the most competitive price up front, so I stuck with him when others offered to match his price. He was punctual, pleasant, and professional, communicating while he was in transit and arriving exactly at the beginning of his window. I reached out to TV Geeks! To mount several TVs and do some additional work on one that was previously mounted. Marcus responded within about 15 minutes, was incredibly reasonable with his quote, and was very responsive between my initial contact and the date of the job. Marcus was very punctual, and flexible when I needed to reschedule. Very polite and professional when he arrived, and within a few minutes knew exactly the setup I wanted. He completed everything to absolute perfection and did so quickly. He also left everything very user friendly for the DirecTV tech to install boxes. I cannot recommend Marcus and TV Geeks! enough. We needed to mount our tv on a recessed wall using an extendable mount. We had a gentleman come by who spent over 10 hours trying to get it right, when the tv fell off the mount on to his shoulder. He told he couldn't finish the job and left us with damaged dry wall and a lot of despair! Enter Marcus. I called late at night to receive an immediate text response. Hey there! I'm Marcus - Lead Technician & Manager of TV Geeks! I started off selling these services, alongside the product, within major retailers. During my tenure, I've grown from a sales person to a Store Manager in a few years. Over this time, my passion for business and technology took flight! I love being on the cutting-edge of technology, and delivering impactful solutions to my clients. Over the many years I've spent in this field, I've created many relationships with clients that have followed me around from store to store (as I've gained promotions over time). Really easy to schedule and stay in touch and Olen was on time and very professionally and cleanly finished the job. When we discovered we needed a different type of audio cable for one of the connections, he went right out to a specialty audio store ~30 mins away to get it. After I got everything plugged in and running, I discovered I had a little interference in the audio line from an electrical cord in the wall and Olen came right back out the next day and trouble shot the issue and got it fixed promptly. Olen started doing a job at my condo. He did wiring and setup the home network. I had to pay someone else to finish the job and they had to take over control of the switch that he installed to get things working. Olen also left me without basic instructions like the password to my router. In addition the installer who took over for the job questioned the work that was done and said some of the wiring and installation choices were not good. I don't know if Olen is still working, or if something happened, because he simply stopped communicating. Regardless, he walked out without completing the job and no explanation.

Responded very quickly and offered to come the same day, on a Saturday, no less, so we appreciated…read morethat. We needed curtains hung. I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

Consumer Warning: Do Not Hire FixTman LLC (Washington, D.C.)…read more I would strongly caution anyone against hiring FixTman LLC for TV mounting or installation services. I hired this company through a referral from BJ's Wholesale Club, expecting professional installation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The technician arrived and spent 4 hours mounting my TV. Less than 10 minutes after he left, the TV fell completely out of the wall. After I contacted the company, the technician returned with his father and reinstalled it. That should have been the first red flag. The TV was installed in September 2025. In April 2026, the TV fell out of the wall again -- this time causing serious damage: * Destroyed my TV * Damaged my wall / sheetrock * Left me with additional repair costs I contacted FixTman LLC again, and their response was that they would do nothing because it had been more than 30 days. To make matters worse, Thumbtack Quality Assurance also stepped in and tried to help resolve the issue on my behalf. They contacted FixTman LLC directly, only to be told the exact same thing -- that I only had 30 days and they would not take responsibility. Let that sink in. A properly mounted TV should not fall out of a wall -- not once, and definitely not twice. This was not normal wear and tear. This was poor workmanship, improper installation, and a complete lack of accountability. In over 40 years, I have never seen anything like this. Please do your research before hiring this company. I will also be reporting this experience to BJ's Wholesale Club, since they referred them. I appreciate the role which FixT serves, but with Yelp as the solicitation platform, it admittedly seems like another unnecessary middleman to go through them. The contractors did miss some minor things with our playground assembly, and unfortunately the price came in higher (without notification), despite my providing the exact model and steps required for assembly at the time of soliciting. The insurability and lack of comprehensive quality guarantees is a little off putting in the end, as even other entities that exclusively use "independent contractors" such as uber, still have additional protections in place for the end customer. Overall, they were good, not perfect. The process was wonky, but worked (for the most part) in the end. I just would prefer to go directly to the contractors in the future.

The owner, Perry, dropped by a couple of days after installation to help us out on an issue. It's rare to find a company that truly cares about their customers the way they do. Purchased an 85 inch QLED TV set and had delivered. Unfortunately, I inadvertently did not include the basic setup. So I was stuck with this Big A@@ TV in my living room. So I called around to a few "companies" I found on Yelp. Either they wanted a fortunate or could not get to me immediately. So I ran across this company called TV Geeks and message them with an inquiry and price quote. Within minutes I received a reply from them; Mr. Marcus to be specific. These guys are the real deal, and I couldn't be happier to recommend them to anyone looking for a team of true professionals. Marcus was able to meet a short notice deadline as I had to dismount an existing TV, and remount, coupled with another TV mount prior to a move out after another team cancelled on me last minute. Our entire experience with TV Geeks was excellent. They responded with a quote very quickly and continued to communicate as we set up an appointment, confirmed our appointment, etc. Marcus even tried to get in touch with me the day of our appointment because he was available earlier in the day. He arrived right on time, masked up and with booties on to protect our carpets. He installed the mount, installed a new electrical outlet on the wall behind the TV, and hung our new 65" TV. I moved Into my townhouse yesterday (so don't judge the table as I'm still unpacking) but I knew last week I wanted to mount 2 TVs. After reading all of the reviews for TV Geeks I knew I wanted to go with them. I spoke with Marcus Sunday and made an appointmen for today! He was here early answered all of my questions and listened to exactly what I wanted. I was beyond blown away. The reviews really don't do him justice. He's better than 5 stars! he mounted my two 55 inch TVs my firestick and also my new Xbox as I usually like to game and watch sports together! I contacted TV Geeks for tv mounting, and am glad I did! Marcus came by right away, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done well. He mounted two tvs for me, and they look great! One tv is a older, all glass 65" that weighs more than 3 cars... well maybe not 3, but its extremely heavy. It was no problem for Marcus and T. They did a wonderful job mounting it on the wall, perfectly centered and clean all around. The smaller tv (45") was a breeze! They centered that as well and it looks perfect. I only write reviews for exceptional service, and TV Geeks easily met that standard. I used the company to install a new Smart TV. Marcus and Chris arrived on time, were communicative about when they'd likely get to the house, were extremely skilled, professional and courteous. They were also very patient in explaining how to access channels and apps. Finally, they readily agreed to return to the house to fix a few issues created by a Verizon installer. Marcus is the best in the business. From the moment I called, he was super responsive. Set up time to install my Frame TV and communicated the whole time before he arrived. Once he arrived he went straight to work and was able to install the TV over my fireplace, install wires in walls as asked and did not even break a sweat. Very pleased with the exceptional service Marcus provided in mounting an 85 inch television in my basement. He was prompt, professional and thoroughly prepared for the task. After installing the mount, he concealed the cable inside the wall and ran it to the equipment stack several feet away.
