Fraud. I I ordered a TV mounting installing from "If you can dream it." Through the Square online system I entered my credit card information and I scheduled it for 8/24. I received an email from the seller stating that if I needed to change/cancel I had to send a written request to support@tvmountservice.com. Amazon notified me that my TV delivery would be 2 days late, so I emailed a request to change to 8/27. I never received a response to that email. I kept getting emails and a text confirming the original 8/24 date. So I called the listed phone number. The first two times, a computer answered saying it is not a working number. I checked the email domain address: tvmountservice.com
It is a generic website that forwards to Square for the same booking procedure. It shows the same phone number. I kept calling it until I got a different message saying I could not reach that person unless I called a toll free number from a landline. So I called and it was customer service for AT&T. They say that number is not registered with them. I waited for the originally scheduled time, but no one showed up or called, but I got one a text saying my card had been charged. It was sent via disappearing text app, so it just appeared for a few seconds and was gone. I mediately went to Square and deleted my credit card. I again waited today for the new date I had requested and again, no one showed up or contacted me.
Luckily there has been no charges on my credit card, but I'll keep watching. Do not schedule via internet! If you want to risk it, call and schedule directly with "John B."
