I came on a Friday around 4pm. The shop could use a bit of tidying up. A nice sweeping. And a touch of modernism. And that smell of formaldehyde will hit you like a ton of bricks in less than 5. Whew! I don't know how the workers handle it. Customer Service could be better. The guy who did my nails was quite demanding. Do this, do that. Just not pleasant. As far as the finished product? It was good. But when I got home, I noticed he didn't cover the entire nail on the second coat; on multiple fingers so I could've save the 18 bucks.

Less than a week in and I have had two chips. I went in to have the one fixed and all they did was not fix the problem but filed my nail down so the chip was not visible. Normally in multiple other salons a dip manicure takes close to an hour or more time to do correctly. The man that did my manicure took less than 40 minutes. I had called and made an appointment. It started off with this one woman who was very nice and did my pedicure, once I sat down and she was working on my manicure. Once she trimmed my nails I was told that she had another appointment so I had to move to the person next to her that clearly did a crappy job. If she had an appointment why was my appointment given to her is beyond me. I felt like I was treated more like a walk in. But still paid over $100. I will not be going back to fix the chips because they just make you feel like you are a little Cuckoo when you go in n to have them fix their poor quality. Next time when my regular place is closed due to an emergency I will wait at least they do a good job and stand by their work!

Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase a gift card from this business. I was gifted a $100 gift card for…read moremy birthday, because my mom knew how long I've been coming here and thought it would be the perfect gift.. WRONG. Upon purchase, I received an email letting me know that I had the gift card and that it's been applied to my account. Amazing. WRONG AGAIN. I went to use said gift card and upon completion of my services I go to show the digital gift card (which quite literally indicated to show it at the business) and I am informed that they will not accept the virtual gift card. I ask why not and they tell me they need a business card that they gave my mom when she purchased the gift card, that was sent digitally, or else they can't apply the gift card. The owner confirms she knows she sold the gift card, emailed the digital gift card and literally sees the gift card on my account, but REFUSES to let me use the digital gift card (which by the way even gives you the option to send to someone else who would then only have a digital gift card). After going back and forth for far longer than should have been necessary I end up paying because the business refused to accept and apply the gift card they took the money for and emailed to me. Now, I have to go through the process of disputing the purchase with my credit card company. In a city where there are three nail salons every two steps save yourself the time and headache and go literally anywhere else. Spouses, parents, friends do not purchase gift cards from this location. They will gladly take your money and then refuse to honor them.
