Last time I saw my doctor was in May 2023. Then he left the facility and I immediately made an appointment with a new doctor. The closest option was March 2024, so I picked that date. Now, I ran out my daily meds already, and they refuse to prescribe them before seeing a new doctor. I have to take my Thyroid meds every day and they supposed to prescribe it until my annual check up. They do no care about patient care. I do not recommend this place.

I asked for confirmation and she only repeated my first name, which still did not sound correct. Upon being taken back to get my labs done she asked which arm I preferred. I wasn't sure and took about 5 seconds or less to think and she told me to "hurry up and pick one - there are people waiting to get their labs done in the waiting room". I was taken aback and so surprised by the rudeness I could only stare back and was barely able to get out "the right arm". She was wearing a mask and it was hard to understand her without seeing her face, but I could tell she never smiled with her eyes. The taking of the labs which is usually no big deal was replaced by a very painful experience. I've never hurt that badly before when taking labs. My arm is very sore and bruised. The first letter of my last name on the vial was covered up, so when trying to confirm it was correct I had to confirm but pointed out that part of my name was covered up and unreadable. I left feeling disappointed and saddened that someone would treat a patient this way. It may seem like a small thing, but for whatever reason it made me feel bad and makes me not want to return for fear of having the same person with the same experience.

Her surgeon, Dr Pace was excellent, as were two of the floor nurses. Two of the hospital administrators I had to talk with about the behavior of one of the nursing staff on my wife's ward were both caring and responsible professionals. I couldn't say enough about these professionals. But the overall quality of nursing care was very poor. More than once, a nurse kept talking when I asked a question, talking over me and literally trying to talk me down. We encountered a young woman who tried to take control of my wife's treatment and when I questioned her actions she threatened to call security. Gateway would not agree, I'm sure, but I believe some of the nursing associates were unnecessarily rough with my wife. When we got home I found bruises on her arm. I can't prove it was nursing staff but neither can Gateway prove it was not. In general, my wife's tenure in Gateway Regional was stressful and unpleasant for both of us. Neither my wife nor I will go there for treatment again.

A warning to anyone considering this practice…read more I went to Gateway Center for Sleep Apnea & TMJ Therapy for a sleep appliance and ordered the recommended EMA Nylon device after a positive initial visit. Shortly afterward, I asked some basic questions about the appliance's material safety and which laboratory was producing it--reasonable questions for a device worn and bitten on nightly for years. I was sent vague, outdated documents from Germany that didn't even address my questions. When I asked for clarification, I was abruptly told by "Belinda" (Dr Postal's assistant/wife?) that I was no longer a patient and that no further questions would be answered. I later went to the office in person, in good faith, to clear up what I assumed was a misunderstanding--especially since I had already ordered and paid for the appliance. Upon seeing me, Belinda refused to speak with me, locked the door to the hallway, and secretly called the police to trespass me while I was discussing the matter with the front desk. The behavior I witnessed suggests something very sketchy is going on, and I would strongly caution anyone considering care here. Any practice that deals with a concerned patient by hiding in the back of the office and secretly calling the police to intimidate you rather than providing basic product safety or sourcing transparency is likely hiding a lot more, and almost certainly does NOT have your care as their top priority

I didn't think about it until then, but my fiancee had recently been complaining about my loud snoring. So I made an appointment and the doctor told me I could be suffering from sleep apnea. We decided to do a sleep study, and sure enough I wasn't breathing properly at night. I ended up getting a CPAP device to help me breathe while I was sleeping. It's been a little over a week now and I have more energy during the day, I'm not snoring as much, and overall I feel better rested. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to schedule an appointment. I'm glad I went, I feel much better!

The receptionist was incredibly friendly and warming. She gave me a sheet to fill out. Before I'd finished filling out the sheet, Carolyn came to administer the bone density test. Carolyn finished my check-in form faster than I could have blinked two eyes. She is delightful and incredibly technically proficient. AND, I did not have to disrobe for this test!! Carolyn did not talk to me during the test, because that would have meant a response. I could not move during this time. And a response would have meant my using my jaw. She IS a master. It was done in 30 minutes.

It's a massive cluster. My operation is serious but they can't even get the test results correct. I could never recommend this hospital.
