In fact, all of the physicians and staff at the SLUCare OBGYN are extremely personable (which is SO important in a doctor these days) and knowledgeable, and they make you feel at ease when you're in their offices. Here are some of the specifics about their office: - Bring your insurance card with you. Every time. They will check to make sure you have up-to-date insurance! - The girls who work at the front desk are really, really nice. Some front desk people at the Dr.'s office are mean and nasty...not the case here! - The wait to see a Dr. is usually no more than 10-15 minutes. I've sat in other waiting rooms for what feels like hours. - If you need to get in to see a physician right away and your particular Doc isn't available, you can schedule an appt. with another physician. - Almost all of the OBGYN's in this facility are female. Snaps to that! SLUCare is a "learning facility", which might make some uneasy (i.e., "Are they using me as a guinea pig?"), but don't worry. All of the physicians are either residents or eligible to practice. And they might have a Doc-in-training with them to observe, but they will ask your permission first. I've even done a few surveys for a student and gotten paid for it...just for answering a few simple (and non-evasive) questions! In a big city it's oftentimes tough to find a good medical practice with whom you can trust. SLUCare has been nothing but fabulous to me in the past 2-3 years and I will continue to use them in the future!

She also has had the technical skills, knowledge and equipment to resolve the device issues that I've experienced. She is a great listener who worked with me to assure that my devices are functioning properly before I left her office. Considering the complexity of hardware and software in modern devices, that's not an easy chore. Arranging a timely appointment to see Melissa has never been a problem. The Advanced Hearing Systems' office is being expanded and remodeled now to allow Melissa's (audiologist) daughter to work out of the same office. This should further improve the services that AHS can provide. I can highly recommend Melissa to anyone requiring audiologist services.

You review the labs with the provider on week two. Fine. A salesperson then comes in immediately after the provider leaves, and attempts to sell you a subscription into their $1,000/year club, which essentially gives you the privilege of getting your meds filled at your own pharmacy. The alternative is to pay jacked-up prices and buy your meds from the clinic. It's completely unethical to withhold pricing structure information like this to new patients , and ONLY revealing the final cost after they are already on the hook for $200 in labs and $100 clinic fees. It makes me wonder what other information they are withholding. I can't do business with a place like this.

In terms of Dermatology & knowledge, I would agree Dr. Musick offers what I feel is experience. What I feel is honesty, intergrity or actual care for a patient over a bottom line invoice and collection of fee I feel one star can't be a low enough review. Musick billing made it crystal clear that all invoice disputes - even if acknowledged errors on their part - can only be decided on my Dr. Musick. Not their billing department, not their billing manager. That level of over-reaching untrust, makes me wonder if what I thought was kindly care by Dr. Musick, is as fake as the lips and filled wrinkles that he performs to keep the bills paid. Lesson learned if you care about your actual body, skin care or have an unfortunate and real history of skin cancers, go elsewhere and please use this as the strongest recommendation to do so. If you need plump fillers, Botox or similar to make your day worthwhile. Good news Metro East, this can be your place! If you need honest skin cancer care as a patient, then bad news, this shiny new office needs bills to pay and you are an invoice first and true care falls in somewhere after.
