Lemony Snickett

There of us came here for a working breakfast. We were each eating together and separately inbetween conference calls. The place has tables far apart so we could talk. I had a latte and it was good. I started with the Benedict crepes on suggestion of a local. OMG- soooo delicious!! Great name as it tasted like eggs Benedict but lighter. The hollandaise sauce came on the side. After a call I followed up with my sweet crepe- the Leminy Snickett. Again, suggested by my local friend and he was two for two! Wow! I wanted to lick the plate! Homemade Bavarian cream and lemon curd the perfect compliment. What a great and unusual breakfast.

Honey Cinnamon Latte and Breakfast Bagel

Stopped in here on a road trip and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The place itself is super cute, has ample parking in the back and was very busy on a Saturday morning, but it didn't slow down the service. I ordered a Cinnamon Honey Latte and Breakfast bagel and both were incredible. The lady at the front was super friendly as well as the woman who brought my food. It also was pretty quick in terms of order to receiving food for the casual upstairs portion, All the bagels are made in house here and it shows. Definitely would recommend this place for Saturday brunch or a quick stop for a coffee and meal. Will be back!

Bagel breakfast sandwich, everything bagel.

Everything bagel breakfast sandwich was definitely the best thing we got. Get it with extra schmear. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The issue for me was the food wait time. On a Saturday morning we waited 45 minutes for our food outside, which was unexpected given the cafe vibes.

Why does it take ten minutes to put a slice of cheesecake in a bag to go? It normally doesn't, but here it does. Not even busy, two tables

This coffee shop started out great and with time and employee turnover hasgotten worse. The food is great but they are not in touch with the standard prices in this area. They are way overpriced and service is slow for what is charged. Myself and 2 friends spent $75 with expected tip included for breakfast and this was just one meal each and regular black coffee for 2 of us and a specialty coffee for one. I can see spending this for dinner at a steakhouse but not breakfast. The restaurant is clean but nothing special and the bathrooms leave much to be desired.

Running it down quickly: 5 stars for location. Downtown Twin Falls? Historic building, outfitted with vintage decor? Check. 5 stars for the coffee. Outstanding bean, bold and nuanced, served up fresh. 4 stars for the set up. Seriously, move your hostess lectern back, because a rookie can't tell where the to-go orderin' gets done and the request to be seated line should be. But whatever. Twin Beans is a total gem, and even though it's more than a few paces off the beaten interstate path, it was totally worth the visit. If I were local, then I would spend time here frequently. But since I'm not local, I'll just let anybody who is passing through know that Twin Beans is definitely worth a stop. Next time I'll enjoy the Snake River a while longer.

Good Morning Sunshine Plate and Caramel Cheesecake Crepe

Sweet Cream Cold brew 10/10- I enjoyed the coffee a lot. It was super busy considering it was a Saturday morning so it was nice to have something to sip on while we waited. Good Morning Sunshine Plate 6/10 - The focaccia bread and bacon were fine but the scrambled eggs were extremely over cooked. My to go box (which we opened at our outside table right after the waitress dropped it off) looked like it had exploded. I had to scrap all the eggs into one area. The thing that was kind of upsetting was the service charge sneakily put on to our bill. I always tip and I would have tipped more than the service charge but an automatic service charge was truly off putting. Overall I don't think we will be coming back around. Hopefully they reevaluate that service charge.

Best breakfast bagel I've ever had! It was so chewy and soft and sooooo fresh! The jalapeños were something we added, and I highly recommend it! The code is delicious and their crepes are as well, but I constantly crave this bagel! Super sweet staff and great vibes.

When I checked into my hotel in Idaho Falls, I asked the front desk where I should eat. One person…read morerecommended a spot next door, but the woman checking me in quietly leaned in and said, "Go to Milner's Gate. It's better food." That was enough for me. From the name, I expected a standard pub feel. Instead, the space is open, modern, and clearly put together with care. I sat at the bar as a solo diner and asked what I should order. The bartender asked how hungry I was and told me to get the ramen. I hesitated, thinking I might need something else alongside it, but I'm glad I listened. The Beef Short Rib Ramen Bowl delivered. The short ribs were tender and rich, the broth savory with depth from garlic, ginger, and chili. The jammy egg was perfect, and the pickled Fresno peppers balanced the bowl well. One bowl was more than enough. I also had a couple cocktails, and they were spot on. This is a place I would absolutely come back to and bring people with me. If you're in Idaho Falls and want something that goes beyond standard brewery fare, Milner's Gate is worth it.

Cauliflower crust pizza, and short rib Ramen were absolutely better than expected, we will return for both. I wasn't expecting much in way of service, but was gleefully surprised at the attention and professionalism of our waiter. Had to do a double take on the price of my martini, I thought it was happy hour. I was surprised when I was told no that's the accurate price, Grey Goose vodka martini, and no extra charge for olives..... unlike another local restaurant which I will not name. I will go back to Milner's gate, I will become a regular !

First time here at Koto, in town on business, wanted a nice lunch, not some chain restaurant stuff,…read morerecommend by a stranger. Nice rustic simple inside, brewery too, had a decent selection, so, nice atmosphere, I can see it would be very busy on the weekends. Menu isn't extensive, but doesn't need to be, pub food, but some very interesting selections. My colleague and I started with the Curry fries, that we're excellent, very flavorful and the right amount of spice. I had a simple burger with chips, however, it was prepared very well, great presentation and quality, it was very good, really enjoyed it. My colleague had a Teriyaki Bowl, but again, very great presentation, a nice effort put into it, some great ingredients and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was Morea, she was very pleasant, sincere, and professional, very genuine and made the experience even better. I highly recommend Koto, friendly, clean and appealing atmosphere, nice thought put into the food, my compliments to the chef, will definitely be back again!

Passed through Twin Falls again and decided to give Koto Brewing another chance. I'm sorry to say…read morethat it was every bit as disappointing this time as it was the last time. Once again, the service was abominably slow. Friendly, but so slow as to be off-putting. The food was good, though our fries were stone cold and tough. We wanted to send them back but it took so long to get them the first time that we just gave up and didn't eat them. I honestly can't understand how this place is so popular with the locals. I guess the slow service would be forgivable if the beer were good, but honestly it is absolutely the worst beer I've ever had at a craft brewery. We tried three varieties, and all were insipid and over-hopped. We tried the cider (from another brewer) and left it unfinished on the table. We will not be going back.
