Outstanding hospital! I came here for my hip surgery with Dr. Fox. It was the cleanest hospital I've ever been to, and the atmosphere was so calming. No chaos or sour faces at all. Everyone from the front desk lady to the lab techs to the nurses were so personable and just amazing! I've been going to hospitals around FWB and Pensacola since 1970, and Twin Cities beats them all. read more

Best patient care I've received anywhere between Pensacola and Tallahassee. A small, patient-centered facility that's clean, well-staffed and not over-crowded or overrun. Wait times for procedures, tests, or to see a doctor are minimal, and the staff are polite, helpful, caring and kind. This place seems to be a well-kept secret in Northwest Florida. read more

Don't go here if it's a true emergency. My daughter had an injury emergency and needed a scan asap. They were aware of this. They took back several flu cases before even assessing her. It was very very chaotic when back there, no one seemed to know what they were doing. I had to request things get wiped down before she used them, including the room. they said they don't normally do that after every patient it's flu season. They told me they have never dealt with a crying child in a CT scan before, that it wouldn't be possible with her crying. It did get done, but it was a hassle. We never saw the same nurse/doctor twice, again, it was very very chaotic. They also didn't shut any doors to any rooms I could hear everyone's business in every room, same for mine. read more

Unfortunately we had to take our son to the hospital because he became ill. Fortunately we took him here because our experience was great! We took our son to an urgent care and then he was transported here via ambulance. The emergency entrance is well signed but you can't see the hospital from the road so I had no idea what type of environment we were headed to. The hospital appears to be older and small but we only went as far as the ED. However, it appeared to have been remodeled recently and was very clean. The ED lobby and treatment areas were neat and well maintained. Everyone we interacted with was extremely courteous and provided excellent patient care. The ED pivot desk personnel got a jump start on my sons information as I arrived prior to the ambulance. They were very professional and explained everything to me. They kept us updated. Everyone in the treatment area from the techs to the nurses to the provider were excellent! They were compassionate and thorough. They are all a complement to the healthcare profession. They really put our minds at ease. Our son is a local athlete and I have already told other parents about our experience. Most of the parents live out of town and across several states. I ensured them that there was a great hospital within a mile of their sons if they ever needed it. Great job Twin Cities Hospital! read more

This hospital does NOT care about proper customer service. They do not care about the patients feelings or treat them with respect. My mother needed to be seen in the ER due to major complications, she was unable to fully walk on her own and was suffering from brain frog/confusion. I had planned on going back with her to explain to the Doctor what's been going on as she was unable to do so. These people REFUSED to let me go back with her, smiled and told me to my face to have a seat and would be right with me and never was. Reception instead just played on her phone, and the original nurse that told me she would grab me when she was done taking vitals had another nurse get the next guy in line so she didn't have to face me, because she obviously lied. I will NEVER AGAIN suggest this place to anyone, ever. Staff has really gone down hill, I'm disgusted and very disappointed. read more

I am a retiree and Tricare usually covers my CT exams fully. I had one at TCH on 1 Sept 21 and they told me I'd have to wait 2-4+ hours after because I had a CT with myelo. They just Said I had to stay at the hospital, at no point did they say I would be charged for POST SURGICAL CARE. I called Tricare and they read off that it was POST SURGERY RECOVERY. Um. I DID NOT have surgery. I was there for 2 hours and now I have to pay. I consider this fraudulent and will be filling a complaint with Tricare and submitting another TCH survey with a different rating than my last one. read more

My mom was supposed to have a port placed on Monday. We called to confirm with outpatient surgery the time and they said they didn't have a time yet but would call us back. (They never did). We called back twice Friday afternoon and no one answered the outpatient surgical line and then on the next call we were transferred to a different unit that was also gone for the day by 3 pm on Friday. We are appalled by the lack of organization and communication. She chose to have it here instead of Ascension since they gave her an earlier appointment and it is critical and urgent for her condition. read more

This hospital is ridicules! Wife came in today to be seen im always with her and they won't let you in even if your married. Talked to nurse supervisor front desk lady did not explain that the waiting area was you had to wait outside i get that. And as soon as a room comes i can go back with my wife. But the lady at front desk said nothing but we have a no visitor policy so you can't go back with your wife. I've been married 18 years my oath was in sickness and in health and I meant what I said! Ill wear a mask social distance and wash my hands but you won't tear me away from a woman I have loved that long Without a valid excuse. And covid is not valid. Just like a cold or flu it transmits the same way. If your sick stay home Wear a mask social distance 6 ft And wash you stinking hands. Plain and simple and then live life dont freak out read more

A shout out to the laboratory at Twin Cities! I have always had a pleasant experience here, with each phlebotomist not only being professional, but friendly and happy. Today I called bc I was having an issue with an out of town specialist receiving the fax of my blood work. Heather became my advocate, going above and beyond by calling the doctor's office to find out why the fax wasn't going through. (Turns out it was!) Then she called me to let me know what was happening! She resolved what 5 phone calls and an email couldn't resolve with the doctor's office! read more

Bottom line up front: This ER ignored me for a half an hour while I was actively bleeding from an artery. Great example of (another) "First Responder" entity that sucks at their job. Do not count on them to aid or assist you in the event of a life threatening emergency. Expect to self-rescue, they will not help. read more

Recently I was seen in ER. My experience was awesome. From the time I entered until I was released, I was treated with utmost care and very professionally. I'm sorry I do not remember the names of techs who assisted in my care but I remember them telling me about The procedures. After all tests were done and reports compiled, Dr. Vaegis sat down and explained findings and recommendations. He was very impressive to me and my family. The hospital was very clean and all staff very professional. I commend the Administrator and staff for such an efficient operation. read more

I usually have a great experience at Twin Cities but this one day, I took my girlfriend to the this hospital for flu-like symptoms.The British/Australian guy was extra rude when telling me I had to wait outside. That's fine but, there is a way to talk to people.My girlfriend was sick but, no sympathy there.He was rude to her as Well. He's going to really make someone angry one of these days. His attitude reflects on all of Twin Cities.I'm not sure if they care or not but, it's makes them look bad. read more

My wife had an emergency procedure here while she was on a business trip. Everyone was soooooo nice and extremely helpful. The staff was outstanding and very accommodating not only to my wife but myself as well. The hospital was very clean and the staff very professional. Great ER had a visit there late (midnight) with heart palpitations. No other people waiting,was seen right away and put in a bed. Great nurses and doctor fixed me up right away and was discharged in a couple of hours. Highly recommend this hospital. Oh yeah nothing really wrong just a little dehydrated. read more

I live in California and my mother lives in Niceville FL she had an emergency and thank GOD she went to Twin Cities instead of the other area hospital! Do not get me wrong my whole family was in a huge panic and so was MOM. My mother was very upset and afraid since she was alone in Niceville but the staff especially Sarah on the night shift relaxed her and my family and MOM is so much better now. Dr. Vegas was an excellent extremely knowledgeable Dr. with the best bedside manner you could ask for, he cares deeply for his patients I was treated above and beyond at Twin Cities hospital. Not only was the doctor excellent but the nurses were amazing as well as the respiratory therapist named Sandy, and the CT Tech. I would highly suggest Twin Cities hospital I was there for a viral infection and my asthma. I would trust Twin Cities hospital For my love ones and friends. I don't know why people rates them so badly but the nurses and doctors respiratory therapist,x-ray techs, and all of those people were excellent. This hospital is not friendly and not good. We had to wait for 3 hrs to be seen on a simple thing. It was after hours so we had to come here for a dr visit. Awful, terrible customer service. I was being told they had to take other patients. Who am I? Not a patient??? I have to be squeezed in somewhere right?? NOPE I had to wait with 2 sick kids for 3 hrs. Do not visit here if you don't need to or real emergency. Waste of time and waste of money!!!!!!! PS. Their webpage ER wait time 8 minuets What a lie! When I showed that they said it is the first seen in the room with the technician. How about the rest of the time???? Awful service When I asked the person at the front window when it would be our time to be seen, she kept saying "I don't know". I don't know is not an answer. Somebody should know something esp if you are dealing with the customers!!!! read more

I moved to Destin June 17, 2020. Four days before moving, I discovered I would require surgery soon after we arrived. Dr Haney was recommended and after research, I decided I wanted to have mine at Twin Cities. It is a wonderful, clean hospital. I've worked in 300 bed hospitals and I've never had as good an experience. One thing they need to improve on is their gluten free menu choices. I was still loopy from surgery and pain meds and didn't think to ask about preparing something other than what was on the menu. I did get a couple of small items. I was discharged shortly after lunch, so it was never an issue. Being loopy, I also didn't think to ask if my husband could bring food for me since he couldn't visit because of COVID restrictions. read more

Dr. GROWNS is the worst doctor I have ever come into contact with. Didn't give a crap about me at all. Treats me like a drug addict when I have CTs etc to prove I have a extremely large cyst on my ovary on top of a ton of fluid built up in my abdomen due to multiple abdominal surgeries. He said I'm prolonging my care by coming to a hospital with no gyn etc. Basically I'm an idiot for going and choose elsewhere next time. Worst doctor ever. From knowledge to bedside manner. The nurses are incredible however. I won't be coming back here if this idiot is working. read more

I went here today with an abscess. EVERYONE was helpful, very kind and was fast working. After I arrived there were a few ambulance people that needed more urgent care than me. The staff let me know what was going on and apologized. It was enough for them just to let me know. You never get that even at a Dr. Office. Also. I wasn't asked for money. They took my information and explained that there were different modes of payments. Made me feel cared for rather than a pay check. I would so recommend this place. There are amazingly kind doctor's, nurse's and house keepers. Btw the housekeer took a few minutes to talk to me because I was scared . She actually cared about me just as much as doing her job. Which she done flawlessly. I drive from Baker Florida to come here. Almost one hour. It's worth it read more

How do you come to the emergency room and not be treated by a doctor???? Only a PA was given for a broken bone.

Deceitful people at this hospital. I got 3 stitches from a cut in my pinky finger by the PA and he said come back in 10 days as it won't be considered another visit. Front desk said the same thing. I come back in 10 days and 3 nursing students remove my 3 stitches and the hospital proceeds to bill my insurance $1600 for both visits calling them both surgery. I fought it and they denied my appeal. Now because of two liars or grossly misinformed staff members I'm out $500 to cover the deductible. Guess they are desperate just trying to keep the doors open which is probably why they have a PA and nursing students performing "surgery" Definitely won't go here again if at all possible. $3700 from 3 stitches! read more

I went to Twin Cities ER the evening of 7/13/2018. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, and every person I came in contact with from the front desk to the nurses, Physicians, XRay techs, etc. treated me like I was the only patient in the hospital. After receiving a diagnosis that could not be dealt with there, they transferred me to FWBMC. I am so grateful for Twin Cities care and knowledge. I could not have received better care.
