Ah dah dah, was here first and also wait for it am not bothering other people or telling them to 'come pet my dog' like you. Some folk here are really irresponsible and just don't seem to be aware that this is an all-purpose grounds. Can't have some strange animal for example just coming up and invading a kid's soccer game. That wouldn't be good. If you have to keep on saying to people that your mutt is friendly then perhaps you need some reflection and a moment of skepticism there. Wouldn't say that a lot of the folk who go here are particularly friendly. Had an awkward guy come up asking about covid restrictions as if he was soap boxing or politicizing about something ...huh? Come on. This is just a park. However, yes, you do get a good view and there's volleyball, though not sure if you can just join or if there's a lesson arrangement or something, would happily do that. Until then, respect my walking and will do yours as well. Ugh, the Marin Karen Crazies just like to roll up in parks with dogs for some reason. Why they not trained? Is this some feminist ...dog whistle? Not quite sure what to really do here besides visit that cool @$$ dock.

This is a great community park located near the town's community center, a school, along a lagoon…read moreand canals, and near the fwy, neighborhoods, and shops. Really an ideal location for a park! Plenty of parking whether you park in the lot or along the road. It gets quite busy as a number of kids extracurricular activities happen here on evenings and over the weekend. I like coming here to walk with our pup, as there's plenty of grass and space to sniff. Some other dogs we see are off leash, but most people we see are good about keeping their dogs on leash. There are plenty of trees along the park, and a cute path that leads to the neighborhood further up the street. Also, the grounds are kept quite clean, and I seldom see any litter on the ground. Definitely appreciate people keeping our local park clean!

There's at least 3 play structures for all age groups up to 12 years old, plus a…read morepretty decent bouldering (rock climbing) wall, a tall swingset, a tire swing, a pretty good size sandbox with a rock feature in the middle, a medium size grassy area, and an easy-to-miss paved bike track for the tikes that circles half of the whole playground. Two tiny picnic tables are under a partly shaded canopy. Benches are dispersed throughout. When we went, there were ample porta-potties and portable hand-wash basins just outside the fences, and there are permanent bathrooms at the tennis courts nearby. Besides the fenced-in playground, there's a larger park with ample grassy areas, tennis courts, a baseball field, I think a soccer field, picnic tables with barbecue (BBQ) pits, and a small pond with a walking path around it. A big net protects the fans in the grandstand from objects leaving the field. The "dugout" is a semi-circular fenced area on each end of the grandstand. The bullpens are next to the fence near first and third base. The relief pitchers sit in the shade of big oak trees. The players participate in the between inning entertainment. You can purchase food at the snack shack. After the game fans are invited to visit with the players on the field. Forget the $100 a seat big league stadiums. Come see real home town baseball played by the San Rafael Pacifics at Albert Field.

Good luck finding a diet soda unless you like diet coke. Lemonade dispenser wasn't working. Hot dogs were way backed up when I was there so had to wait a really long time through a very short line. Other side of the stands serves beer and wine. So if you want a dog and beer, you have to stand in line for 20 min on one side of the stadium, and go all the way to the other end and get in line again for beer and wine. Makes no sense. So one star shaved off for that. Lots of parking nearby but suggest you avoid the street adjacent to the field. Looks like some of the cars got beaned by foul balls. Other than that, go have fun!

I can't say enough about the Swim Staff! These young people go out of their way to help these kids…read moredevelop as swimmers and as good people in general! They are kind, always aware of what their students are doing & always use the kindest and most appropriate voices! They get kids! They even deal well with less than appropriately behaving parents!!!! Britteny, the Aquatics Coordinator, is phenomenal and ALWAYS present! She is a calm voice in a sea of rambunctious kiddos & parents! I am sure her professionalism is why all the young coaches are so remarkable! The Lifeguards are all very sweet and helpful too! I always feel safe leaving my young child at pool side! The facilities are great! The pools are always warm (particularly in the winter), the dressing areas always attended to & clean! The pool maintenance guy is always there! The parking is a little rough, but not within anyone's control, just get there early! So very happy with everyone at the pool!
