UPDATE: today is March 20…read more In August 2025 I developed chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives/rash) during the heatwave, it persisted into October - only getting worse after seeing dermatologists who prescribed steroid creams, which also made things worse. heat was my trigger for this CIU. It was so bad I had to keep my clothes in the freezer, putting them on cold to help stop the itching and soothing the hives temporarily, and take ice cold showers Each morning. Even my hair brushing against my neck and back made me itchy, the lightest touch - shaking hands, or just wearing clothes made me itchy. It felt like the nerve endings were so sensitive. Anything that made me warm or hot triggered itchy hives. It really sucked! then it occurred to me to call Dr Ee to see if he could treat urticaria. I'd had acupuncture for stress and back pain but never skin Issues. that was mid October. I started going 1x week starting Oct 14 thru Nov 11 before Dr. EE would be out of office thru mid December. from the very first treatment I felt something I hadn't felt since the urticaria started... I FELT COLD! As well as relaxed. After the first treatment, I went home and fell asleep for three hours. I normally cannot sleep during the day. I needed that! My skin slowly developed less hives, and was less itchy. Each week with Dr. EE I improved more. I could wear long sleeves, long pants anbd socks again. December 1st my skin was 95% better. I was curious to see if my skin would continue to improve before I went back. New Years Day - my skin was 100% normal. No more hives, itchiness, and could take cool showers instead of very cold ones. I can even take a warm shower if I want. My clothes no longer have to be chilled before putting them on. Dr. Ee hears what you say. He truly wants to help you. Just explain the problem and he will take care of it. He is absolutely the very best there is. I'm grateful to Dr. Ee. I'll be making an appointment for next week as it's been a while - to keep things balanced! Do not hesitate to call Dr.Ee! He truly is a master of his craft. The couple's suite was super clean. A dimly lit room that had two perfectly laid out heated beds, an electric fireplace, and two elegant boxes to place our clothes inside.
