I love this place. During summer, I visit weekly to order cases of peaches. These are the most delicious peaches I have ever eaten. Coming from a ranch and farming family. I've never tasted peaches this delicious. The price is right, the staffing is kind and the quality of fruit is undeniable. I highly recommend this ranch to anyone looking for a sweet peach treat for summertime. They are located at multiple farmers markets around Pleasant County. This is why I go to the Ferry farmer's market religiously on Tuesdays. In recent months after March 2020, the number of vendors and farmers who participate at the Tuesday market has dwindled down to less than ten, causing me to ponder whether my weekly visit is warranted. On June 7th, this business opened for the 1st time on the north side of the building/market. There was a small crowd when I arrived so I peeked at their tables. As customers bought one of two of their two offerings of peaches, I decided to get some for my family and friends. Note that they do not have samples before you buy so you'll just have to hope and trust them that they are sweet and to your liking. When I got home, I first tried the yellow peach (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=mVbnGr0GMn_vji1QkLz3PA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), not normally my favorite; after a quick rinse, I took my first bite and my eyes lit up, in a good way. A day or so later, I tried their white peaches (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=13E3xw3VicIloZPSDd6psw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); they were different from the ones that I've been getting from other local growers as the meat had a pinkish tint as it ripened while being extremely juicy and sweet. They were not at the Ferry Building this past Tuesday but I hope they'll be here after the 4th holiday. Persimmons are good but overpriced. Online buyers beware, an order of persimmons still costs $40, but the content inside the box is only half of what it once were. Two stars for the persimmons, 0 stars for lack of transparency for what online buyers are receiving for their purchases. Previous years' orders used to stipulate a number of persimmons received per box (ex, 36 per box/$45), but I should have known something went awry when they did away with that specification. This year I received 43 persimmons (smaller than previous years') for $80, and one arrived bruised and mushy. I suppose that's the disadvantage of online ordering. It is beautiful here! We came for upick mandarines on a wknd. My only complaint is how you have to wait for a group and the guide to take you to the mandarines, they dont just let you go on your own. Also they had reds pizza i think it was called and the farm worker with dark hair was really rude. She cut of bunch of us in line to order pizza and than proceeded to order bunch of pizzas for her farm workers. She should have made that order earlier. Not only that but when she cut of the lady in line she told her " im sorry but i have bunch of workers that have been waiting, so im going to cut in line." We left the line didnt even order. Was taking too long. Also they dont have enough clippers. Just twist the mandarin of the branch. read more

Well people! It's a drive, but this Century old family orchard will not disappoint!! Found because of 'word of mouth' recommendation from a local and so very glad I did! IF peaches, nectarines and plums are you? Then; hallelujah! Heaven had been found! White nectarines better than any I've ever had! Yes, true! Tree ripening is the Key! This family sells commercial to the High End Market; but opens on weekends for locals. Rte 193 on the way to Newcastle will land you where fresh fruit is truly fresh off the tree. Peachier peaches don't exist! I've looked for 23 years for a place that compares to my Central Valley farm stands and have finally found it! Forget your farmers market bruised, green, unknown varieties! They know it and pick it when prime! Super nice people to deal with to boot! Sounds too good? Try it! Literally the best farm at any of the farmers markets in Sonoma County, and probably beyond. The 1 star ad is probably someone who is freaked out by people with personality, the farmer (Ed) has plenty of personality! And my husband & I like people like that. Think of a person with strong opinions (he's very lefty) and his fruit? Like manna from heaven, and all organic. There is nothing wrong with the Dry Creek Peaches (peach competitor), they are also just as tasty as Ed's peaches, just a lot more expensive. I can't choose one over the other, Twin Peaks also has a lot more varieties of fruit year round. Right now it's winter & I'm eating tons of their Satsumas & Mandarins - they are incredibly sweet! And the prices! For $20 you get a TON of fruit from Ed. Also Ed has a following amongst those of us in the know. He's got women who LOVE him, so many times I go to his stand at the market - PACKED WITH WOMEN. He's like a celeb, literally. Or packed with men and he's regaling everyone with stories, or women and men. He likes everybody and is filled with stories about Italy, Europe, Asia, he's been all over. If you miss him at the SR market on Sat, there's the Sunday market in Sebastopol, his DIL is there - it's much more low key. Ed otoh is a PEOPLE person and a character. He's a one-of -a-kind with the best produce around! PS, if you do get a "green" peach, bring it home & it will be great in a few days. We keep a HUGE silver bowl in our house in the summer time filled with Ed's (Twin Peaks) peaches and nectarines. Huge. Love it, Sweet and juicy! read more

I go to the orchard every weekend from June through September to buy the best fruit you can imagine. The peaches are wonderful and they have an amazing variety. The nectarines are even better. It is a haul to get there and a bit hard to find if you don't know the area, but the trip is worth it. You can eat what you buy that very day, which is not the rule with Farmer's Market buys... Make the drive and load up for jam, gifts or just a week of fantastic fruit. You won't reget it! read more

I don't know what the fruit is like at the orchard itself but at the Santa Rosa Market they brought green peaches. In Sonoma County we are used to a certain level of customer service and his was far below what I would even call civil. I'd asked if he had any samples of the fruit ( a VERY common practice at the market). He thrust a green peach at me and said "Here. I don't know what you can tell from it. It's hard". That turned us off immediately. I said "Oh, they aren't tree ripened?" He literally began to shout at us. He said there was no way he would bring ripe fruit because they would be "demolished". Why buy farm fresh then? Go to Safeway and get cheap green peaches (YUK!) If you come to Sonoma Cnty, buy ONLY Dry Creek Peaches. Tree ripened and fantastic! read more
