The markets are located from Truckee to Roseville and include seasonal markets, such as this one, as well as year round markets. This market is Saturdays only from June 6-November 21, 8:30am-12:30pm. There is a year round market a few miles away in Roseville in the Whole Foods Market parking lot (at the Fountains on Galleria Blvd. & East Roseville Parkway from 8:30am - 1pm on Tuesdays) . There are typically around twenty vendors at this Rocklin market. All of the produce is sold by the growers themselves so you can really get the inside scoop on their products and how they are grown. There are also items available like fresh baked breads, cookies and even tamales. On this visit there was also a fresh flower vendor, honey vendor and even some live acoustic entertainment. When you buy an item from any of the vendors you can also get a ticket to enter a weekly drawing to win a free item from RC Wiiley. This week's giveaway was for a mini-fridge. Overall, it's a nice little pop-up and I can always count on finding some flavorful items fresh from the farm. On this visit I was on the hunt for some cherry tomatoes and found some tasty little gems grown by Willow Creek Ranch in Penryn.
