The CORE administrators and teachers really do want every student & parent to succeed and absolutely will help parents with the overwhelming task of now being responsible for teaching their own children. My Daughter loves it at CORE! They have center classes so she still gets her teacher instruction and her social interaction with new friends (classes are optional)! They offer a ton of field trips and special events all year long. I'm sorry to read the negative review ppsted and really hope that works out or turns around because we have never seen anything like that. It's a great school with parents and teachers who collectively want to ensure their children get the best education and have fun learning!! I would recommend this school!

I do see that it's changing from a small, tight-knit community to a larger, more diverse one. Neither good or bad - it is what it is. Gray avenue staff needs to do better!! My son rides his bike to school everyday. I trust the staff…read morelocks the gates and watches that there is no unsupervised kids messing with OTHER kids bikes. I walked in to check my son out and I don't get greeted. The lady at the front desk is too busy on her phone. Only reason she knew which kid to call for was because I spoke up. Then I find myself in a situation where I have to address a random kid with other kids around laughing to give my kid his bike because he's asked for it three times already. The kid proceeds to give him his bike and takes another kids bike that is parked on what we believe to be secured property because we trust to take and leave are kids there with staff. Unreal!! I believe nothing will be done about it. But that just makes my son, not want to ride his bike anymore.

Came here for a Jr. Football game. The location is nice and easy to find. The snack bar had some…read morefire tri-tip and what a nice set up! It was also very refreshing to use an actual bathroom while at a game instead of the porta potties you usually find on the weekends at the high schools for the junior football games. We were on the visitor side so I didn't get to check out the bleachers. The field was a good quality for the kids to play on. We enjoyed the Linhurst Jr Blazers hosting the game! See you next year.

You see, my friend and I had to drive here to take our SAT and the inside was lovely. it had clean…read moreindoors, nice classrooms and very nice bathrooms as well as very cool and well placed lockers; however, we exited through the back door of the 100s building because it was closest to us and then we realised that there was no way back in. We were stuck outside in the rain, fenced in like rabbits with no way to get to our car. We opted to go around and under these metal railings to stay out of the rain and almost fell many times. After we ran out of railings to go under we reached another entrance and it too was locked. We then realised we were completely trapped since all of the metal fending was locked and we opted to climb over one of the shorter fences to break free. we did so in the rain. We were able to make it back eventually looking like wet rats and unscathed but I hope I don't have to fence climb at this school anytime soon.
