Nothing fancy. They do have the "Kiss and Ride" lot to drop off someone. You can also park here. Nothing special.

During our Washington, DC part of our trip, we stayed with a friend in Rockville, MD. Twinbrook Metro Station was the closest station to our friend's house, so this was the station where we would catch the red line into DC. I have only been to a handful of Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) metro stations, so I don't really have much to compare to--I don't know if Twinbrook is better, worse, or a typical WMATA metro station. There was nothing overly great about it, but nothing overly horrible--it seemed just as ugly as any other metro station. The reason I am giving this station three stars though (instead of two) is because of one particular metro employee. I was travelling with my mom and sister, and my mother is quite.... difficult. I'm seriously convinced she has some sort of mental illness. Anyway, on the day that this story takes place, we were going somewhere in particular in DC (I no longer remember what we had planned for that day), and in order to get to our destination, we had to take the red line to Metro Center, and then transfer to one of the other lines. We explained this to our mother, and she just had a fit. She was freaking out and yelling about how she didn't understand why we were going to Metro Center, when on a previous trip into DC, we had gotten off at Union Station. We tried to explain numerous times that we were getting off at a different station because we were going to a different part of the city, but she just screamed and yelled, and wouldn't listen. A metro employee saw (and heard!) what was happening, and could see that my sister and I were embarrassed and stressed out, and came over to help us. She managed to calm my mother down by telling her the exact same information we had been telling her (which station we are getting off at), and after, she gave us all a hug. My sister and I were so thankful for that employee helping us with an extremely difficult situation.

DC metro is stepping up their game. Got to ride in the new trains.

Once everyone in my family was fully vaccinated, we began to plan the long awaited reunion. Since I wasn't entirely sure of her schedule, I wasn't able to book until the day before we needed the driver so I was very happy that Culdesac was able to accommodate. From my initial phone inquiry until our drop off, every interaction with the business was professional. During my first phone call, I was able to book a driver for 5 hours to take us to a winery in Virginia. The winery is located over an hour away, so it was nice to be able to relax and not worry about driving. Everything was pretty seamless. Our driver (Rachid) was so professional and even arrived a few minutes early. He was a safe driver, kind and accommodating despite the non-stop storytelling and giggling between me, my sister and a childhood friend throughout the entire ride. Their pricing was upfront and pretty in line with quotes that I received from other businesses as well (and pricing was pretty transparent which I appreciate!) Thank you Culdesac for helping us make a very special weekend, safe and stress free.

A group of us was visiting Washington, DC for a hockey road trip…read more Two months prior to my trip, I emailed Culdesac, along with 2 other competitors for a price quote. Culdesac not only contacted me the same day, but they were the only ones who provided me with any form of communication, and I've yet to hear back from the other 2 companies. That alone catapulted Culdesac to 5 star status in my book! I had 11 people in my group and was suggested a 14 passenger Mercedes Sprint Van, picking up from IAD to downtown Washington for $275, which included tax and gratuity. I believe I spoke to Sammy, who was very helpful and friendly. Fast forward to February... The day before our trip, Sammy called me to reconfirm, and sent me our driver's name and number. A hiccup happened to our trip, and I sent Derek a text to come to the airport earlier than we agreed upon. Culdesac called to verify we needed an earlier pickup, Derek kept me in the loop of his transit time, and he came to the spot we told him we were at. Super professional! We decided to use Culdesac to take us back to the airport. Again the day before, I got a call and email reconfirming my pickup at 1:30 pm. We were told that Derek was going to take us back, but unfortunately a hiccup occured where his appointment was going to run over, so Derek texted me that someone else will pick us up, and not to worry. A few minutes after the text, Culdesac called me to say Derek was being replaced by Sam, and they texted me his number. Sam arrived at 1:15 in a 20 passenger van, just as nice as the Mercedes Sprinter, and even newer! It was also handicapped accessible, which was a good thing to remember if someone was disabled. He was just as courteous and got us to the airport safely and quickly. I honestly believe this company deserves 5 stars. They were professional, easy to get a hold of via email and phone, and communicated with me from start to finish. They charged my card after the service was completed, and the tip and tax was included in the fee. I would gladly use them again if I am back in the DC area.

So sorry - my review is waaaaay overdue…read more A customer for many years with over 100 rides, it is clear that RMA successfully addresses an important niche. For those who value their time and reputation - I recommend RMA service. For me, I treasure being able to get work done enroute to the airport or have telcon/zoom/in-person meetings without distractions. I also value precious uninterrupted time for in-person meetings with clients as we tour a city or countryside. Rare quiet comfort with moving scenery! I've used RMA and its partners throughout the USA and Canada enjoying with full confidence in their timeliness, safety, cleanliness, reliability, and discretion. I have also retained RMA limo for taking my wife out to dinner or theater, picking up guests, and group tours. If they say they will do it - it will be done and done well. I've experience with dozens of RMA drivers- women and men. None I'd not use again. Interesting- a good number have over ten year's driving experience with RMA. As a business owner, I view employee retention as a marker of a quality organization. Not the cheapest ride, but for me the absolutely best value for peace of mind and comfort. Yes- I take Uber for short hops around town. But for the purposes mentioned above, it is simply the best. Yes- I've used other limo services, but I have always returned to RMA. My most recent ride was two days ago. My next one is tomorrow! Enjoy!

We took an RMA shuttle from VA to DC (about 2 hours). On the highway, driving along, a large suitcase FLEW out the (open) hatchback and bounced away down the highway. We didn't know this, so the driver didn't stop. Turns out, he left the back door unlocked. A driver rescued the suitcase, which was brand new, and very pricey, but now ruined, squished, and useless. The owner and I (I'd booked the shuttle)--filed with RMA for a refund of the suitcase destroyed by the driver's mistake. We were ghosted, & ignored for days/weeks. Finally, I called someone at the company whom I heard had was politically adjacent in my home state of Massachusetts. He talked for at least an hour--mainly reminiscing about politicians we both knew in Mass. He agreed to refund the money. Surprise, he offered my colleague half the value of the item. But she was sick of dealing with the matter, and took the money. Avoid.
