My cat who is almost 12 years old needed surgery for a uterine infection called pyometra. Summit…read morepet hospital was the only vet who would take me for a same day emergency appointment. Another customer in the waiting room assured me that Dr Stroup was amazing and she was his vet for over 25 years. The staff was AMAZING, and so very kind to me and my cat. Her surgery went great and they saved her life. The vet tech Elizabeth was also phenomenal, and worked so late that she gave me an update after 9 pm. This is an amazing group of people, dedicated to the animals they serve. I could not be more happy to have chosen them to save my baby.

I have text messaged from the Vet Tech showing her response to my accusations of cursory and…read morenegligent care. When I called her out for missing very life threatening issues going on with my dog, Elizabeth gave me the following excuses from the moment she found out my dog had passed at the Pet Emergency Center later that night: 1.) "It must have been an aneurysm, no one could of prevented that". I spoke with 2 other Vet Techs who said those are highly rare in dogs. 2.) She claimed she didn't do more for Gemma at our appt because she was told "the owner has financial restraints". 3.) She then later lied and tried to say I only made an appt to have a Parvo test. This is not true, Parvo was never mentioned in my call as I didn't even know what it was. Upon further research, that is common in puppies that are around other puppies. Gemma was 2 and not around other puppies and Summit is the one that vaccinated her against Parvo! Summit's phone system says all calls are recorded, when I emailed Elizabeth and told her to listen to that recorded call again WITH THE DR. and have the Dr. get back to me, there was no response from her or the Dr. 4.) When I contacted Elizabeth at Summit and told her Summit should pay for my emergency visit because they're carelessness and negligence caused this emergency issue that night, she refused and stated she was sorry for my loss and stated that I "just needed someone to blame". If NO STARS was an option, that would be my selection!

I took a homeless kitty from my street to Animal Kingdom Vet Hospital today. Excellent experience!…read moreThe staff were all friendly and helpful. the vet was knowledgeable and extra helpful to the situation knowing the kitty was homeless and not always easy to keep under supervision. Based on my experience with this Vet hospital, I recommend to anyone looking to help a homeless animal or even as a permanent vet for their own pets! I'm planning to switch to Animal Kingdom for my own kitties!

She actually said to me, when I asked about getting him some medicine, fast, even if it's over-the-counter, she replied to me that "she didn't know that animals could talk and tell me what's going on with them". Absolutely unprofessional, dirty, you'll sit there for a long time because they don't know how to read x-rays, they literally had me in a room over an hour because they said they couldn't make the x-ray bigger, had to go home and wait about four hours before I could find out the results. Been to other vets in the area and they were way cleaner, way nicer, definitely do not go here unless you're looking for a dirty place with unprofessional staff. I forgot one last thing, when the assistant asked me what medicines my dog was on, I said it was the medicine you guys prescribed, she got very irritated and said she doesn't know what they are and they're on the computer out front, she was not going there to find that information. I should of read other people's reviews before we went there, but it was a fast decision. Hopefully others will read this review and take their fur babies to a place that cares about animals.
