For nine months, the oncology team walked beside us through one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. I would be remiss not to recognize the unwavering support, compassion, and expertise of Dr. Matthew Cook, along with his wonderful right hands, Erin and Jessica. They treated Esther with such gentleness and dignity, and they treated us like family. Their kindness and patience meant more than we can ever properly express. The reception team in oncology is equally extraordinary. Jennifer, Michael, Mercedes, Sunny, and so many others at the front desk welcomed us with warmth at every single visit. No matter how heavy our hearts felt walking in, they always greeted us with care and understanding. Each and every one of them is truly worth their weight in gold. It takes very special people to do what they do every day, and they do it with grace and love. We had to make the half-hour drive nearly weekly for Esther's appointments, (with the exception of about few months when she was in remission ) and we were thankful that such expert, compassionate care was within reach. I know many families travel even farther for the level of expertise offered here, and I completely understand why. The oncology and emergency teams are simply exceptional. I have never been through anything like this in my life, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But in the middle of heartbreak, we experienced some of the most amazing, caring human beings we've ever met. That is a gift we will never forget. We miss you all now that Esther is no longer with us. Thank you for loving our girl the way you did. God bless everyone at Metropolitan Hospital. With heartfelt gratitude, Suzy & Dave

Don't deal with scammers. Do not come here. If anyone goes there you know anybody who needs to go there do not I repeat do not deal with these people. There is a garbage way to run your business and they should be ashamed of themselves if I could give a negative star review I would this is the biggest trash company I've ever had to deal with says a lot the lady behind d the counter should lose her job shady af

I called and I spoke to this woman named Mallory and she was most ignorant person I've ever spoken to so I spoke to another person that I thought would be better but they were no better. I told him it was just a cash cow that they're making money off of people's hurts and can't even ask question answer questions when their dog is dying. They couldn't answer a simple question? They know how dogs die and if they go in to Sears or not and that's my question is I was wondering if she was going into a seizure.. so they gave me a website to go to and I'm like well how are they going to tell my dog is going through a seizure by a video when you can't even tell on the phone yourself? You should know you're supposed to be an animal health Tech apparently. I wouldn't trust these guys because they are all about money and they will try to get your pet in there for a visit so you pay $400 for nothing. The government should get after these people for scamming people

We took our dog for a grooming appointment in October. When we picked him up, the first thing the…read moregroomer said was that everything had gone fine and that there were no problems. We brought him home and he was acting strange. He was extremely withdrawn and when we tried to pet him and our hands got near the back of his neck, he would yelp. We parted his fur trying to see if we could find anything. At that time there was nothing visible, or maybe we were not looking in quite the right spot. I called the grooming department and asked for the young man who had groomed him. I wanted to let him know how our dog was behaving and ask him again if he was sure that nothing had gone wrong. I was told that he was gone for the day. About a week or so later, we were petting him and felt a rough area around the back of his neck. We parted his fur and found black scabbing and as we parted his fur more to get a better look, his fur started falling out in that area. The area also appeared to have some yellow coloring. We took him to our vet who shaved the area. I told her about his behavior immediately following his last grooming visit and asked what could have caused it. She couldn't say for certain but thought that it could have been caused by either a burn or cut. She also said that the wound would result in that area of skin coming off. I now went back to the store with pictures of the injury and asked to speak with the manager. I explained that I wasn't seeking any kind of compensation, but wanted to explain the circumstances and make him aware that there was a strong possibility that our dog had been injured during a grooming session there. He was polite and asked me for information such as who the groomer was and what date was my dog's appointment and if I had asked for any special products to be used on my dog that had never been used before. I gave him the information and also stated that to my knowledge, no new products were used. I also let him know that my dog had been to the vet and what they had said. He said he would follow up with the groomer. There was no follow up call made to me to let me know if he was able to figure out what had happened. It has now been six weeks since my dog's appointment and the scabbed skin finally came off revealing another scab underneath, so he is still recovering. I rarely leave reviews and debated about leaving this one. I cannot irrefutably prove that our dog was injured during his grooming session. I only know that his behavior was completely normal when we dropped him off and was extremely abnormal after we picked him up. Then, shortly thereafter, an injury became visible. He was not left anywhere else without us present during that entire timeframe. He is an older dog so he is not super active and wouldn't have hurt himself playing. Again, I cannot prove he was injured during grooming but at the very least, the circumstances are, in my opinion, suspect which is why I finally decided to write this review and share my experience.

This past week I went to pick up supplies for my bird and the animals were absolutely neglected. Bird cages were filthy with waste everywhere and fish tanks were covered in algae so much so that you could not see in them. I am assuming this is from the short staff but , animals are being neglected there. The three employees in the store were all unprofessionally talking about other staff. Someone needs to step in and help the animals who can't help themselves.
