Mr. Ortiz and his crew arrived early, spent time cutting back the overgrown branches and select branches from another tree growing over our fence. They cleaned up immediately. Very friendly and professional. Will recommend Ortiz Tree Service to anyone looking to have their trees trimmed. In fact, my neighbor saw them and asked if they would be able to cut their tree branches over hanging their fence too. They also cut theirs that day after ours. He went above and beyond what I expected, removing dead branches that were caught on other branches and trimming small branches that might come down in the next storm. I want to say how helpful I have found Paul the Arborist to be. He explains things in a common…read moresense way, offers guidance to address the problem and returns after a period of time to ensure improvement or possible reassessment if needed. He is very knowledgeable and with a reasonable approach to tackling challenges. The reason I did not give 5 stars was because when I was initialing reaching out for diagnosis of a poorly tree, I was told over several days-weeks that I would be contacted (the Arborist sets his own schedule), that there was a backlog. I accepted this, but later learned that the person was actually on scheduled time away. I just wish I would have been told this from the start as opposed to repeatedly saying he was backlogged.
