I had no idea they served meals! Always thought it was just a yoga studio and smoothie bar. First visit today and it definitely won't be my last. I ordered the Thai Chopped Salad and added an egg for additional protein. Great combination of flavors with the kale, cabbage, and romaine. Also had green onions, edamame, cucumber, carrot and bell pepper. The dressing is so good!! read more

Stopped in for the first time and tried the Sushi Bowl. That was really great! Good distribution of ingredients, and the sauce brought everything together. The smoked salmon add on is worth it too. we came here just for the smoothies, and weren't disappointed! we both got berries n' cream smoothies, and they were absolutely delicious! smoothie barista was extremely pleasant, and the atmosphere of the whole place was lovely. not a harsh word to say. read more

Twisted Dog Yoga is a small business located in the heart of Colchester, CT. We believe in our slogan, Wellness Through Movement and offer yoga for everyone ~ all experience levels, all body shapes and sizes, all genders and a judgement free space for those looking to make yoga a part of their everyday lives or those who just want to see what it's all about. We are community centric and would love to share our space with local businesses and providers! We have affordable studio rental rates for those interested in specialty programs, workshops, community-centered events and more.

History

Established in 2019.

Twisted Dog Yoga truly offers 'yoga for everyone', with the belief that you can find wellness through movement. Our studio is warm and welcoming, bright and airy, encouraging our beginner to advanced students to feel comfortable in their own individual practice. We started off as a yoga studio and smoothie/juice bar, transformed into a café during Covid...and now getting back to our heart and roots as a yoga studio. We just relocated! You can find us in the same plaza as Purring Pottery and Honeycomb Hair Salon, right next to the Airline Trail Spur in Colchester. There's plenty of parking available...pop in for a class and you'll discover our modern, yet cozy space! We currently offer all of our classes livestream and in studio. If you're counting your steps, this is the place to get them without much effort. I made 8000 steps according to my fitbit, and it wasnt even the whole boardwalk. It would also be a nice place for a bike ride, but they don't allow those either. There are plenty of benches if you need to sit for a bit.
