I brought my 17' Nissan Altima to the Nissan dealership just months after I bought it cause it was making a funny noise. They tried telling me it was the transmission about to go out and my warranty was already no good so I should just trade it in on the new model. Thank god I took it to Norman and got a 2nd opinion. It was just a kink in the power steering hose! Last summer my ac went out. He repaired it. Two weeks later it went out again. Norman looked into it and apparently the parts company sent him a bad compressor so he got on the phone and got me a way more expensive one with a better warranty and worked on a Saturday to get it repaired. His prices are extremely affordable especially with me being a single woman with kids. He is compassionate and will go out his way to help anyone. Also you can trust him not to lie to you or overcharge you for things you don't need. Other mechanic shops could learn a thing or two from Mr. Norman Williams!! Totally worth the drive! I come all the way from Gulfport to Vancleave to get everything from oil changes to tire rotations to getting my transmission serviced to ordering new tires. They do it all! I took my 1994 Jeep Wrangler to them to diagnose a clicking sound coming from my engine. Not only did they find it, they fixed it in a short amount of time. They also replaced my transmission on such Jeep. My Jeep has never run so good. Someone mentioned in a review these people where not to be Trusted. It's funny that many I mean many people recommend this place. I come from Ocean Spring to take my cars to them. I have never had but honestly and high integrity from everyone at Coles. We agreed to the $189 diagnostic check out, but was charged an additional diagnostic chemical block test fee without prior approval from us or discussion upon drop off. I witnessed the entire discussion myself. He received a quote of $1,080 to replace the electrical cooling fan and module. I told him to deny the repair, as that is complete insane pricing. He questioned the unapproved additional diagnostic fee, we were fine with the $189 and it was reduced to $280 from $315. He paid the $280 and picked the vehicle up. We bought the parts (same brand and model they quoted him with) the next day w/ warranty ($290) and I walked him through how to replace both parts. We were done in 30 minutes, this wasn't me doing it, this was the time for him to do it and learn while me telling him what to do. The prices quoted for the simple, straight forward repair were ridiculous. Sad to see from a long term local business. As a life long coast resident, I will share my experience when asked where not to go regarding cost effective, needed auto repairs. The nearly $300 diagnostic fee was going to be charged if we moved forward with repairs. What an experience! One and done!

Luckily enough Donovan's appeared to be pretty close so we ordered a tow truck meanwhile called the shop. Mr. Donovan himself waited patiently for our car and put it to charge overnight, so as soon as we checked out from the hotel we had our car ready to hit the road! Labor was suppose to be $75 an hour but when I got my bill they doubled everything. Labor 150 an hour and towing $125. I complained about it and they gave me my half the money back for towing. Then after I paid I sat back down and the women behind the counter thought I left and said "I didn't know you were going to f*** him on it" to the owner. He knew I was sitting right there and didn't respond. After she felt my presence she looked at me embarrassed and started talking about Jesus. Only in the south. Get bent c***.
