Stop by this local spot on a Tuesday. Was a little quite but loved the atmosphere and you could see the potential of a wonderful evening on a busy day. We were greeted by a great bartender. Welcoming and had great recommendations for drinks. A few regulars were there and shared great compliments about the bar and service. The bar itself is upstairs with a great little view of the shopping and small restaurants downstairs. Lots of seating around the bar and plenty of seats with tables. Their large screen shows videos and compliments the music. Excited to come back for another evening of drinks and socializing

    This a Lemon drop martini.

Hands down the best martinis you'll get in Puerto Vallarta. The staff is extremely attentive. They have a movie playing during your visit and you can still talk to your friends/family. The prices are great especially on Mondays. Monday is martini night which all martinis except the "Monique" martini is half priced $85 pesos!!!' Please do yourself a favor and visit twisted palms for a great drinks and ambiance.

    Amazing outdoor rooftop patio!

We had tried to visit Twisted Palms on our last visit to PV but found it very quiet as it's definitely more of an evening (after dinner) kind of bar. Last night we struck lucky and found the place to be pleasantly busy and both the staff and clientele were extremely friendly. There was a real sense of community about the place, so they clearly get a lot of repeat business. They have a huge projector screen and have daily movie nights. Last night they played a Star Wars sequel, and they have James Bond Monday's with corresponding martini specials. Tiki Tuesday was also mentioned which piqued my interest. The owner mentioned that they specifically avoid making tiki drinks too sweet as it's supposed to be on the tart side. As someone who doesn't like a lot of sugar I really appreciated that. Pro tip: The washrooms are downstairs and to the left.

This place is packed all the time with drink specials. The owner is behind the bar and works harder than any one else in the team - commendable. Very nice staff and they are hustling. There's a U shaped bar and then a few rows of seats. The seats look comfy - like living room furniture. It reminds me of that neighbor who turned their garage into a bar. Drinks were good. Very friendly patrons - lots of regulars.

Great bar! Amazing bartenders. Mostly visited by ex pats the place has a familiar feeling. Will be back.

Cute little upstairs bar. It's pretty closed so I wouldn't call it a rooftop bar. Comfy chairs, solid margaritas, and if you like martinis, they're half off during happy hour. Heads up: they don't serve food and they did require masks upon entry. Definitely a must visit if you're looking for tasty drinks, friendly service, and an escape from the busy streets.

Three words: martini madness Monday's. They have a large list of freshly prepared martinis on menu plus they'll make any drink of your choosing to order. The chairs are so comfortable you'll never want to get up! After dark they play bond films through a projector on the wall. I'm not sure if that's every night or just Monday's. Definitely a must add on the bar list! They can handle large groups so don't hesitate to bring all your friends!

Great cocktail lounge. If your looking for a spot to have one more drink before you end your night this is a great little spot. The bartender is fabulous, he asks a few questions and you have a perfect drink to your liking. I love grapefruit and was presented with the Gigi which was very tasty. Everyone in our party was very happy with our drink choices. This is a usual spot for our friends who have a place in PV.

Hidden gem in Old Town PV. My friends who are locals took me here for a cocktail after shopping and walking along the malecon for a refreshing cocktail. The drinks were wonderful and great friendly atmosphere. The owner is from Canada and only opens the lounge during the dry season (November to May I believe?) I had a margarita, my friends had a Tanqueray martini and a gin & tonic and the bill was $11 US!

I can't figure out what this beach was called (my best guess was Playa Camaron, based on this bar), but Google is inconclusive, so this review is for the beach bar as well as the adjacent beach--which is, after all, where you enjoy your Club de Playa Camaron drinks. My friends and I came out on the Saturday of our trip, for an all-night cumbia party on the beach. We left our house after 11 and stayed out until 4 in the morning. I'm 30 years old, and haven't partied like this in a while, and never have habitually; I felt a little like I deserved a medal at the end of it, but I had a great time. I drank Pacificos and a few shots of this and that, and we danced for a bit in the bar, which had an open set-up so that we all drifted in and out between the bar and the beach. We talked to strangers, and at some point, I dug a very deep hole in the sand. We came back the next day, calmer and more sober, to spend the afternoon soaking in the heat. Not the smoothest beach--gritty sand and a lot of sharp hazards in the shallow water--but we were able to rent umbrellas for pretty cheap and had a relaxing time. We also made good use of the Club. It was always empty enough that we could sidle up and get drinks quick from the friendly bartender. (It also had a public bathroom, the only one we could find in the area. Crucial, that.) The drinks were perfect for the beach. I had a margarita and a piña colada, both frosty and blended and great for the hot day in the sun. The margarita was on point and the piña colada was a satisfying treat, sweet but not too sweet. If you're looking to party in Sayulita, definitely swing by this beach and Club de Playa Camaron for the cumbia party and a constant flow of booze. It's just as good during the day, when a cold drink can greatly improve a hot afternoon.

After looking up good places to go, Bar La Playa came up- and I'm sure glad it did! First, it's easy to get to if you're coming from North. Our Uber was easily able to drop us off without getting stuck in gridlock traffic that can affect certain roads of this area. Additionally, the location isn't a high-traffic area for tourists. That meant we were able to walk up and immediately find seats. Second, the service was top notch. I didn't get the bartenders name, but he was very welcoming, friendly, hospitable and spoke English. Just an overall cool dude and was glad to support his business. Third, the drinks were great. Finally, we were drinking 'real' drinks, not the watered down sugary stuff at the hotel. We were very satisfied with the taste of the drinks. Fourth, the prices are really good. Mexico has gotten expensive and this was a sigh of relief. You can have a great time here without feeling like you paid an arm and a leg. I highly-highly recommend making Bar La Playa your first stop when coming to this area. You're going to get great service, great drinks and all at a price that is reasonable and fair.
