The parking is a little tight so I would suggest going earlier to when they open up. It seems like its very community like there most of the customers seemed to know each other as well as the owner. So when I entered in (looking somewhat lost) the owner was kind enough to walk me through what was where and answer any questions I had. The fresh eggs and bacon were enough for me to come out again however they have so much selection fresh veggies, beef bacon (didn't even know that was a thing). The site is on the main page so I would suggest checking that out ahead of making your trip out here. The owner and staff were engaging and helped me with my selections. The staff was helpful and patient with all my questions which made it easier to make selections and make hurried choices. If you want to try out some fresh farm food I highly recommend Victoria's Natural Market especially the bone chicken broth (they have a beef broth), bacon, and farm eggs.

Victoria's Natural Market - Beef chorizo. Fry, then stir in sharp cheddar and as it melts quickly stir in the eggs. Great folded up into a large organic tortilla.

I have broken many bones, at one point due to an accident, at the same time due to this accident, I had a collapsed lung, 3 broken ribs, and a broken collar bone and this still could not compete with the pain of this GOUT. I went to my doctor back and forth for 2 years and he would mainly give me steroid shots (I know they were bad for me) but the short term relief was welcome more than the shots being bad for me. After at least 10-15 doctors visits and a ton of wasted money, I told myself I would stop in the health food store across the street from my home in April Sound that i drove by every day, praying that it would have something to help me, anything to stop the pain. I walk in and there is the person i had been hearing about, Dr. Claire smiling and eager to help. She asked how could she help, I told her exactly what i was going through, she said follow me, swiped the last bottle off of the shelf and said, follow these instructions and come back and see me in 10 days and tell me what you think. I am thinking to myself, I have heard how wonderful she is, but there is no way. So i took them across the street, did exactly as the bottle said and BAM, it started going away that quickly after an hour or so. These other reviewers talking about her decor and old produce are freakin idiots, WHO CARES, please go somewhere else then and get someone that has no clue on how to truly help you. If you want to to a place where the owner truly cares and knows better than most doctors and can generally help most of your health problems, PLEASE go talk to Dr. Claire and her daughter and staff, I GUARANTEE you, you will be back in her store thanking her for providing you her incredible knowledge and helping your day to day health be in a better place. Thank you again Dr. Claire, I owe you my life! Clayton Gray 832.748.7283

Sabra Farm - I drove there just to get eggs with the bloom on (unwashed, which can be sold if labeled such). Can be left unrefrigerated on counter.

One of the first things I took off the shelf to try based on an owner recommendation was the organic fermented garlic pickle mixture in a jar. I couldn't wait to take it home and open it up and take a little sample. It's spicy and warm and garlicky and just absolutely delicious, the kind of umami flavoring that good chefs and cooks look for. I'm making a Duo pasta dish today (pasta dumped in a large bowl that has a white cheese sauce on one side and a delicious tomato marinara sauce on the other, mix that up with a little grated Romano), and I can't wait to add that fermented garlic pickle mixture to the marinara, it's going to be amazing! I chose the sauce that had the carrot in it because that is an Italian grandmother's secret for making a delicious sweet marinara "gravy". The other WOW item I found and bought was the locally made sweet consisting of shredded phyllo, pistachio, and all covered in chocolate. I'm not really a chocolate lover, but I promise you that it was fabulous! There is a second a little adjacent room that they use for a little gift store type of environment and I loved the fact that I could buy two pairs of what looked like very comfortable knitted slippers made by people in the local church. I bought lemons, an absolutely gorgeous huge firm heirloom tomato, organic chicken and two types of lamb sausage, what looked like some great premade burger patties that are larger than the usual (very glad about that!), lemons and one of their three house Italian tomato sauces. The couple is dedicated to wellness and supporting local producers, we're very helpful in answering my many questions, they are very kind, and I can't wait to go back to try more things.

I also want to recognize Patrick, who was working in the back stocking/unloading items. He took the time to go check for a product for me, came back personally, and let me know it was unavailable. I appreciated the effort and professionalism. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed the tone of my visit. The cashier, Marilyn, never greeted me, never acknowledged me when I spoke to her, and never thanked me at the end of the transaction. From beginning to end, there was not a single word exchanged from her side. When she handed me my receipt, her demeanor felt dismissive and honestly unpleasant. Idk what that attitude was about but imagine how quickly this could've gone downhill had I handled her just as rudely as she handled me. What stood out most is that there was no negative interaction beforehand that would have explained the behavior. Even if a greeting was somehow missed, there is no reason a customer should leave without at least hearing "thank you." One employee's poor customer service can easily overshadow the positive work of others, and that's exactly what happened here. Whole Foods needs to do better with consistency in customer experience, especially at the register where customers leave with their final impression of the store.
