I have been here 2x now for piercings and recently went in for a tattoo. The place is clean, well managed and the people are friendly. Osmany was my tattoo artist and his work is very good. He took my idea and AI generated mock-up, and put his own spin on it. I am very pleased with the experience.

First time here it's Leah did my piercing in my nose. very nice girl. She's been piercing for many years. I highly recommend her the facilities very clean. Everything is sterile & they sell a lot of body jewelry. They have very many talented people from tattoo artist, to permanent makeup artist to people that do body piercings. There's just so much talent in this building.

My husband and I for our anniversary got some new ink and we had a really great experience here! It was reasonably priced, we both got along with our tattoo artist and of course love our end result. We were a walk-in too, and were able to be seen almost right away. If I get anymore tattoos here in SATX, this is where I'll be getting them!

I took my sister here to get her first tattoo. They were able to get the two of us in same day and did both of our small tattoos very quickly. The staff was very responsive and the shop is super clean. Jordan was very friendly and really helped my sister relax. The whole thing was painless and I highly recommend this place to anyone.

If I was a Tattoo Artist - this would DEF be the place where I would want to work at! This place looks waaaaay bigger than what it looks like from the outside. I love each artist have their own private rooms where their personalities reflect! Their names are posted on the outside which gives it a personal touch. All the artist are fun and friendly! Anyway, came here back in January for the Friday the 13th deals. They were very organized and the process was very smooth. I have many tattoos already, little bangers is just all what I need now. If they have another Friday the 13th event - I'm definitely going!

He was so understanding that it was my first tattoo so he helped me by talking me through the whole process and making sure I was comfortable before he started. The experience as a whole was fantastic. We did a consult through the booking site we uploaded a couple pictures and within an hour we were sent a quote on the tattoos and we're booked for the next day really quickly. We loved our artist Manuel. He did an awesome job on my brother and my tattoos. He was really chill and we both fell asleep in the chair lol. We didn't feel obligated to have awkward small talk. So that was very chill too. 10/10 experience. When i come back to visit I will be booking with Manuel again.

Not sure these guys need five star reviews because they are simply great. They are talented and patient. Ultra kind because seven (yes 7) of us showed up. So... for my bday we wanted to brand/stamp our last name's initial. That's the letter "G". Mr. Henry, Mr. Manuel and the hot Cam guy!?! Mr. Erin/Aaron?!?!??!!...delivered and they all have delivered BIG! Don't be fooled by the small initial. It takes time and knowledge to get my crazy family to like this. The "G" is for God, Good, Gorgeous, Generous and Genius. Twisted got it right! Got IT right seven times indeed. Photo enclosed. Need I say more!?!!!?

Clean and spacious. The receptionist Khalina is very sweet and polite. I bought my sister in law two wrist tattoos for her Bday, Star Wars theme tatts. She was in and out great work. But what also makes this place cool is the tv system and the couches. Not to mention there is a section for lil ones to play...."play pin" also they have a medium sized pool table! read more

I found this place looking for a highly recommended tattoo shop online, yet received some of the shittiest customer service ever. I requested a quote through their website, I was later texted to come in for a consultation and I had requested it be with Bryan, being I saw his portfolio. i drove 30 minutes out of my way to get a consultation that the receptionist Maria could've relayed to Bryan I was coming in for being that he came out and basically said "I don't want to do that" and had the receptionist relay the message and recommended two other artists. the pictures I showed were simply inspiration pictures, and seeing His portfolio seemed in his range of work. The lack of effort of communication from Bryan was shitty, and I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I got my first tattoo here last week and everyone was super nice and professional. Angel did my tattoo and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. I also got a second lobe piercing here at the beginning of the summer. The piercer, Denise, was super nice and did it quick and painless. This place is amazing! This was my first tattoo and it was on my ribs (and I'm 105 pounds ). Keith was awesome! He was so sweet and so considerate! He checked in on me every couple of minutes to make sure I was doing okay. I was able to use topical lidocaine cream it is worked wonderfully. My tattoo took about 45 minutes and it came out perfectly. (Ignore my bug bites in the second picture, I went camping the weekend before). read more

I absolutely love this shop! Each time I've come in for my appointments or to set one up I'm always greeted and the receptionists are so welcoming! The shop is beautiful and all of the artists are so kind and patient with where you want your tattoo and how you want it done. I recommend Polo, he's done all of my tattoos and future ones! My best friend and I have been planning on a best friend tattoo for year, so when you came in town... we decided to get it done! We called ahead and they told us to come in and they would see if they could sqeeze us in. We showed up around 4pm and were laying down getting prepped by 5:30... it was amazing! This shop is so organized and professional. I will definitely be coming back! I got my tattoo from Mando last saturday and it is healing up nicely! Mando was TRULY a pleasure to work with. Got my nose pierced by Jewelia I think? She did a great job, was fast and no appointment was needed. I was in and out within less than 30 minutes! We had Denise and she rushed out tattoo and it ended up extremely Jagged and blew out, when finished before we got to see it she already had her gloves off and had put ointment on it, she then said okay you can look and 30 seconds later said okay your done and signaled us to leave with no bandage or feedback wanted, nothing!!! Basically bad work and bad service. She also called us using the phone number we had to give and confronted my husband for me leaving a bad review, this proved her lack of professionalism. read more

Daniel was the artist. He did a great job! It was a simple piece which he quickly and effectively tattooed onto my upper sternum/ neck. The shading and color packing turned out well after the initial healing stage (peeling) ended. The bold colors and contrast against my skin couldn't have appeared better. Customer service is great too. They're very military friendly and as others have mentioned, offer bottled water and snacks. I do recommend this place to anyone looking for almost any style of tattooing. read more

Got my first tattoo here. I'm not going to give this place a 5/5 though because: A. I thought $60 was a bit much (even if it is the base price for a tattoo) since mine was very small B. My tattoo artist wasn't very sociable, friendly, or talkative like I had hoped C. They made me come in on two separate occasions, once to book my appointment and once to get it done, which I realize is fairly common; however, they really weren't busy either time, and I only wanted a small tattoo, so I feel like they could have squeezed me in. I mean, the place is clean, reputable and I didn't have any real problems, I just wouldn't call it "fantastic" or anything like that. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Artist was late for my appointment and then rushed doing a terrible job! I paid $250 for a tattoo and now am spending $3000 for tattoo removal. Do not go to Daniel Pena at Twisted tattoo unless you want it to look like a kindergartner scribbled on you!!! read more

I have been tattooing for 20 years. i first opened my shop in weslaco tx, then moved to central tx, and finally to san antonio. I worked for another shop here first, but did not like the way the artists and customers were treated, as well as other things going on with the staff. I knew that i could do something different, so after a lot of struggle, saving, and sacrifice I rented my current place. with the help of some family and a few great friends (RIP Cory Hale) i got the building ready for business. In the beginning,I worked by myself, building on a small, but dedicated client list. Once i met my wife,and with her help,i decided I wanted more. we hired artsits, piercers, and managers, layed down a strict set of rules for them to follow, and began to grow to where we are today: the highest rated shop on google, one of the busiest shops in town,and a truly different environment that i feel will change the future of this industry. I am 37 years old, and have been tattooing for 22 years. Tattooing is my passion. I've been through many different changes in my life. From a little kid growing up in the boondocks (eddy TX) to being broke and homeless in the projects of Temple Texas. But I've never forgotten where i came from. With the support of a few important people, i have become the person i am today. The hardships i endured make me appreciate all that i now have. I've never had a hand out. I've never sold drugs or anything else illegal to get where i am. I work hard for every dollar i have. I am drug free. I love my tattoo shop, my family, and all of my loyal customers. And now that I have my beautiful sexy wife Denise and wonderful son Alfonso by my side, i can overcome anything else this world has in store for me. I would never have gotten to where i am without the values that my parents taught me, and the support of my brother and his wonderful family.

Can i get my septum and nose done at 14 with parents permission?

For a septum and nose piercing, we require that you be at least 15 years of age and the minor would need a valid photo ID, and birth certificate. The parent/label guardian will need a valid government issued ID and need to accompany the minor.

The age of requirement for a naval piercing would be 13+. We do require a photo ID for the minor, a government issued ID for the parent/guardian and a birth certificate for the minor.

I was also planning to take advantage of the spa amenities afterward and grab lunch at one of the restaurants. About 10 minutes before my appointment, I put on my robe and headed to the waiting area. As my appointment time came and went, I watched every other guest get called back for their massages while I continued to wait. After another 10 minutes had passed, I finally went to the front desk to ask what was going on. The manager came out and informed me that there had been a miscommunication and my massage therapist was unable to make it to work that day. Unfortunately, there were no other therapists available and no alternative appointment times. I was simply told they were sorry and that I would need to reschedule. At that point, I broke down in tears. This wasn't just a massage, it was my birthday gift and my first opportunity to step away from the chaos and demands of postpartum life. Having that experience taken away without any notice was incredibly disappointing. To their credit, they did offer me a complimentary massage whenever I am able to rebook, which I appreciated and accepted. However, this was a very disappointing first impression. A simple phone call before I arrived could have saved me the time, effort, childcare arrangements, and emotional letdown.

I got my first tattoo here just a few days ago, and all i can say is that Matt is the Man! He was fast but he took took his time. He was so meticulous and made us feel so comfortable. He made my first time getting a tattoo unforgettable. I mentioned i was a Christian and sure enough, to make me feel better, he put Christian music on. The tattoo itself is just awesome. The tattoo is beyond beautiful! It's crazy how realistic it looks. I wanted a dandelion with ravens flying out from it. I showed him what i wanted and he made the image even better on my skin. He did amazing work no doubt. (You also get a free touch up on your tattoo at least one month after you get inked!) The shop itself is so beautiful and clean. Very professional. I choose Twisted Tattoo because (at the time, I lived in the neighborhood). This was first tattoo and well not versed on what to ask. I suppose I was just thrilled about deciding to get my first tattoo and that was that. Yet, since its my first tattoo, I was pretty scared about it. I choose Black and White tattoo. It was pretty large. 5 hours time. Its roses with vines across the lower hip/waist area. Initially, I left partial deposit of $445 as the tattoo was $894. And the remaining balance I paid at the time of the appointment. All I have to say about this place is the people are SUPER NICE! I got my first piercing (other than ear piercings) here by Denise. She was very friendly and polite. The piercing itself was done quickly and it was over before I knew it. When my brother and his wife looked at it they told me that it looked good because it matched the contour of my face and what made it look strange was the extra length of the barbell that accommodates swelling during the healing process. Now that I can look at it in my bathroom mirror I am completely satisfied with the way it came out. All of their prices are as listed on their website. I absolutely love this shop. Especially my artist whose done most of my tattoos, Yoma! I can not recommend her enough! As for the overall shop it's the only shop i've been too where the receptionists and artists are friendly and welcoming. The shop is clean, the wait is always short but it's enjoyable as they have a nice seating area and have things to watch while waiting. I have gone for all of my nose piercings (3 in total) and almost all of my tattoos (6 in total). Other places i've been just do not compare to the level of professionalism and care they put into the tattoos and the customer experience. The other two were done by BB I was amazed at how quickly he did the tattoos with such ease, they both were friendly and really courteous to my sister and her boyfriend as well. Getting tattooed as we speak. Amazing business very professional. I text them 9pm the day prior and very fast on responding. Amazing work for very competitive prices as well. They also offer military discounts. Have an area for kids( I had my wife and 2 year old with me) overall the best experience ive ever had. Amazing work. Very friendly and welcoming. OMG they were amazing!! My husband and I both got tattoos done. J.R. redid my husbands old angel wings and shaded them in. They look brand new and awesome. The line work couldn't be better. I had James do a realistic tattoo and I couldn't be happier! The amount of attention and detail he put into the piece is priceless. I will definitely be going back in the future. I was a walk-in and they accommodated me the same day. I got a forward helix piercing and a beautiful henna inspired tattoo on my right hand. Hank was my artist and was absolutely amazing. He was extremely attentive to my wants. He is a superior artist and the work came out beautiful. I definitely recommend and will return for future tattoos and piercings. read more

These guys were amazing from start to finish. We were a large group from Michigan on a trip to San Antonio. They were so easy to work with from setting up appointments to getting the tattoos! Everyone was so happy with their tattoos too! And the shop was really cool too! Raul was the best but I might be biased seeing how he gave me a sweet ass tatto!! read more

I'm from San Antonio , first tattoo done by Dan and I can say he is professional, precision, detail, shading,etc. I can say he made me proud of my tattoo. The owner and staff were fast nice and professional as well. Parlor was nice, clean and large I recommend this place highly , your very pleased customer ralph. read more
