PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES BELOW! I went with my girlfriend today to get her eyebrow pierced and mind you this isn't our first time going here so we didn't think anything would go wrong. The person who pierced her, Justin, was very friendly but after piercing her eyebrow he immediately tried putting the jewelry in instead of using a taper. Then the jewelry wouldn't go all the way through because he tried piercing it WAY too far apart. He proceeded to try and force the jewelry in and when that didn't work he grabbed a taper and started stabbing at the already swollen area and when that wasn't working grabbed the same needle he used to pierce it before, to try and then pierce it again which caused her to have a 3rd hole. After almost 5 minutes of him trying to force the jewelry to go through, my gf had enough and told him to take it out. His response was "oh i was just going to push the jewelry through and screw the ball on and everything would've been fine" mind you he had been trying to do this for almost 5 minutes and nothing happened other than him causing more and more pain. Not only that but the only "apology" she got was "I'm sorry it didn't go the way you wanted it to". We are both in disbelief of the way this all went about and not even 5 minutes after we got in the car she was already bruising around the area and swelling immensely. read more

After 12 years of wanting a specific tattoo (my first tattoo), I finally decided to get it (late 2022). Even though the tattoo is very small and simple, I knew I had to find the perfect artist to do it because it is so special to me and it has a lot of meaning behind it. I looked through artist's Instagram's, asked people about the work they had done and visited tattoo shops for months before finding Nico (yes, I may sound crazy). I went in to Wicked Ways Tattoos to speak with Nico and we thoroughly discussed the process, my fears/concerns and the design. He made me feel comfortable with the whole process and was incredibly kind/ friendly. Additionally... Nico's work is very skillfully done. Even when the piece is incredibly detailed and large... the final piece is stunning... he was the best I had seen. Now, in 2023... I committed and had the tattoo done by Nico. As I had hoped... it is PERFECT! Nico did an amazing job and checked on me the entire time for pain level/comfort/ etc. and chatted with me as well. The tattoo shop itself is clean, well maintained and everyone is very professional. They have seating for while you are waiting although I didn't have to wait long as I was helped before my appointment time. I cannot recommend Nico at Wicked Ways Tattoos enough. I just want to give a shout to Justin for going out of his way to help me renest a baby bird! I had gone to the coffee shop next door earlier in the day and noticed a baby bird on the sidewalk under their sign, but none of the nearby businesses had a ladder or could help. please don't get a piercing here. i've gone here twice, once last year for my birthday, and then again this year on my birthday (exactly six months ago). last year my experience wasn't that bad but wasn't the best. the piercer was just lowkey rude but i didn't care, i just wanted my left nostril pierced. this year i decided i wanted a septum piercing. the guy puts the clamp in, and just jabs the needle through. my nose started bleeding a lot and i was kinda freaking out, but the guy just puts gauze and says "oops, i pierced your cartilage" and then puts the clamps in and pierces me AGAIN. god the pain was so bad. lemme tell you, i have five tattoos in painful spots and this hurt 10x more. the next day i spoke to another piercer and they confirmed that this guy got my cartilage pretty bad. six months later, i cannot TOUCH my nose without so much pain flaring up. never coming here again :( read more

Worst service ever!!!! Do not let the wanna be tattoo artist that is the receptionist anywhere near you! They wanted to charge me $140 for this tattoo with a touch up and I explained I don't mind if it fades I really only need it for a couple months. She guaranteed me 4-6 months and then it would be mostly gone I told her that was fine and she said she can do $100. I took the offer and this is my finger less then 2 weeks almost completely gone! I went in to show them and most of there staff was standing in the front and one guy asked well how much did you pay and I said $100 and he said how much were you quoted I said $140 with a touch up but we settled on $100 and he said so that's what you paid for. Absolutely ridiculous rude staff and honestly that girl with black hair(receptionist) needs to stick with just answering the phones. read more

If I could leave 0 starsI would. My friend and I went in Sunday to get a finger tattoo. We knew it would fade, we have multiple tattoos and are familiar with the healing process as well as placement of tattoos and what areas fade the quickest. Normally within 6 weeks a finger tattoo will fade but this was 4 days ago and her tattoo is completely gone. I'm pretty sure the receptionist was the one that did the tattoo and had no clue what she was doing. At first she was trying to see if someone could do it when we walked in then she decided she'd do it herself. I assumed she knew was she was doing but I guess not. We called today and asked if it could be touched up because mine was still dark and my friends was completely coming off. They tried charging her $50 to touch up! I just got my septum pierced here maybe 30 minutes ago now. I was a little skeptical because there was no other reviews on the septum but I said screw it and went anyways. I'm from San Diego, a very tattoo & piercing friendly place, so to find this shop with the same vibe made me feel at home. Keep in mind since theres a pandemic and everyone wants to get tattoos and piercings, there will be a wait. The actual piercing took no time, and the piercer (I believe his name is Justin) did a great job. There was little to no pain on the actual piercing, but we all have our different paint tolerances. I can't stress enough, don't go here. I came into wicked ways based on "good" reviews and now I've already started laser to erase this mistake. I went to the Stone oak location for my first tattoos. I got 2 at the same time, the "Bishock" three link chain on my wrist and a triskelion, as used in "Hellblade: Senua's sacrifice" which I asked to look as though it were painted on. Because of the detail in the triskelion, both together came to $400. I thought this was pricey but I still went for it since I thought this was a top of the line tattoo parlor. Little did I know that what I was going to get was bottom of the barrel work. Danny was my "artist" on his profile it says he specializes in "simple line work to full color realism". As you can see from my photos, his lines are terrible, each link of that tattoo are completely different, which is not how the photos I showed him looked. Since they are all SO very different I have no choice but to remove it and do it over. "Fixing" it would have turned this into a blob now and even worse as it aged. The triskelion isn't a circle in its place, an oval at best, and not a "painted" look as much as a stamp. I specifically asked for advice on where to put a circle and the most I got from Danny was "you'll like it anywhere because it'll be yours". As it turned out, this wasn't true at all. I came in to show it to start the formal complaint and the first thing their piercer said was "circles look bad everywhere." I was also told to compare prices from at least 5 other shops and this is when I found that $280 on average was what other reputable shops would charged and also when other artists all laughed at how terrible and expensive these are. When I came to the owner about my complaints, I advised him I was non-confrontational because I have a very bad anxiety disorder and I just wanted to talk through our options as both these tattoos have been made fun of by my friends, and every other tattoo shop in town. At first Norm agreed with me, that the chain needed to be removed and that he himself would personally draw up a fix for the triskelion, he would take the weekend to draw it. A week passed and I asked for the drawings so I could review to see if it could be fixed. I got a "thanks for the reminder" text and then nothing. A month passed and I sent another reminder, with no response from Norm. I first talked to norm in April, by June I asked that maybe we look at a refund so that I could start on laser treatments. Norm said he'd talk to his partners about it, but that I should go with their removal system called "tatt2away". I looked into this system and from everything I could see this system leaves raised scars in a circular pattern and that's what the portfolio for their removal specialist shows as of this posting. I still hear nothing back from Norm and tell him I'm in the area, ready to sign what paperwork they need for the refund, and I get a barrage of rude texts in which he threw my anxiety issue back in my face, took back his decision to remove the tattoo and only offered touch ups, of which I still have yet to see that artwork! This was the last response of his on July 19th: "There seems to be, since the beginning, no reasonable expectations here. Your tattoos require a touch up and adjustment. Nothing more. At the time we spoke I was trying to be understanding and sensitive to you as a client and your anxiety issues. As I have said now, after further thought, those anxieties and your failure to understand the process of tattooing are unreasonable. However we are still here and available to take care of your touchup session for your tattoos." Again, don't go here, the prices are terrible, the work is awful, and there is no such thing as service for something that on your body permanently. It'll be a year until my laser is complete but it's worth it to me to laser these off and get them done right. read more

I did get my nose pierced here but wanted to get my daughter nose done at the same time. I was asked for a birth certificate so I came back and the piercer is off on Monday and Tuesday. Came back on Tuesday with the necessary document then they asked a age. I gave the age and it's an age limit which was never told to me. I had an OK experience here. The lady who welcomed me and got me checked in was very sweet and helpful. She gets five stars from me. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait at all after I got checked in. The piercer took me back to the room and was not very friendly. I asked what earrings he was going to use because I was allergic to the cheap stuff. He said, "they're full titanium, we don't mess with the cheap shit." He marked my ears and then pierced. Pain was a small pinch. When I took the earrings out to clean them and my ear, I could barely get the studs back in. It doesn't seem like it was a straight piercing. I also cannot wear some of my earrings that have a round top (versus a standard dangling earring) because it is too close to the second piercing. I have thought about letting them grow back and getting them pierced somewhere else. read more

I brought a rough idea to Tim who wound up using his vision beyond my imagination...which drew my back a second time. The second piece was just a great as my first. Tim was very careful to observe my limitations of ink the military set. The shop itself is clean with a nice style to it. Each artist has their own room. Scheduling is easy, the environment is chill, and everyone is very attentive to you. I have no hesitation coming back for a third time and specifically seeing Tim. I come to wicked ways to get waxed by my girl Bekah! She's amazing. She has the best customer service a person can ask for. She takes her time and makes sure that you're comfortable. She does all kinds of services as far as body waxing, eyebrow and lash tint, microblading and more! I've had my eyebrows waxed by other people and they keep messing them up and eyebrows are part of the first thing you notice on someone's face, so she has always been able to fix them and always tells me to not cheat on her anymore, and I no longer will. She's amazing and I do not go anywhere anymore. I also took my goddaughter to get her eyebrows waxed and tinted for the first time and she is in love with them and can't stop taking pictures of herself now.
