I called and spoke to Chad, he was one of the friendliest sales consultants and very honest, attentive, and not pushy at all. I viewed all of his stores photos of the car, he took his cell phone and went completely over the car, even took me on a virtual drive for about 15 minutes as I was 700 miles away in East Texas. I was impressed with the straight forward answers, as well as Chads eye for minor imperfections, and the effort to secure the car from another state. We worked out a deal, I forwarded the papers and payment, he and Byron secured a company to haul the car across the 700 miles at a reasonable cost. I was very impressed at the car I received, to say the least I was nervous, but I should not have worried. It was impeccable, clean and exactly as described to me by Chad. He's incredibly picky about the cars he brings in and puts up for sale, and stands behind every single one. That's a huge selling point for me and something you won't find at any other used car dealership around that I've found. I recently experienced a breakdown on the highway, and I had no idea where to have my car towed for the repair. I was in a slight panic and wasn't sure what to do. I called Ernest Motors, and asked if there was anyone who could take a look at it to tell me what was wrong. I spoke with Gary Ernest, and he told me to have them tow it there and they would take a look at it. The Hero Unit that came to my rescue had said it was my alternator after checking it out. Well, after I had it towed to Ernest Motors, they checked it out and confirmed that's exactly what had happened. Note, I bought my car there about five years ago, so this was not a fresh purchase, and alternators do go bad over time, so this was normal. They made a call and had the part sent over to them. While I was inside, and trying to find someone who could pick me up, they came in and said "your car's ready to go". I was shocked, as I thought I would have to leave it there, or have it towed to a shop to have the work done. They actually put the new alternator in my car and sent me on my way. Thank you Gary and Eric for fixing my problem, let alone within an hour! If that's not a dealership that stands behind their cars and then, after a few years of owning the car, goes above and beyond.... Just saying, they are AMAZING people! It wasn't the engine light but something else. We wanted to see what the price would be and mentioned the light. On their website it says there are no added fees such as dealership fees, etc. We looked and they added some added fees to the price. Yeah it wasn't dealership fees it was warranty fees. In the state of Georgia law car dealerships cannot add warranty fees automatically on used cars unless the customer wants one. I told them I didn't want one and they said that the car cannot leave the lot unless I get a warranty. And guess where the repairs will be at? At their garage of course. How can you make me get a warranty? Crooks! I will notify the state about their practices. It is not a trust worthy place! If I don't want a warranty you can't make me get one. That's my choice! The workers think they are slick! You put proudly that you don't have hidden fees. What is that?! I am so glad I left because I know from the reviews on here that they are scammers! Selling used cars with problems. No wonder they are making you buy a warranty for their cars. They know you will come back and have to pay a deductible and then pay extra payments for a lemon car. Thank you for showing me the red flags before I signed the dotted line! Shame on you! And please owner don't try to reply saying something that I am lying or it was miscommunication. Mark (the salesman) was outstanding. 4) They let you test drive their vehicles alone (they do not accompany you on test drives). 5) *MAKE SURE YOU GO GET AN INSPECTION DONE WITH YOUR OWN MECHANIC BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT PURCHASING ONE OF THEIR CARS!* I failed to get a professional inspection done before I bought my used car from them. *WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK OF BRINGING MY CAR HOME, I HAD TO PAY $2,300 IN REPAIR COSTS.* 6) Took 2 months to get my title. 7) Do not tell them you are paying with cash until the very end! :)
