I've come here quite a few times, and always enjoy it. I usually start by having a drink next door at Brackins, but that place is more of a dive bar, so I always end up coming over to Two Doors after. The aesthetic is super cool, gorgeous bar top, and they have live music (I've never stayed for it, but the stage is big and right in front of all the seating). They have an adorable tequila bar in the back. Service here is always amazing, the bartenders really make the vibe. Drinks are strong and yummy! Definitely try out some pulled pork, loaded tots, or my favorite, candied lemon pepper wings. Seriously, amazing spot. read more

Bring your ID, they card EVERYONE at the front door and you need to be 21+ after 6pm. It's a cool bar in Maryville with live music on a Friday night. The band performing was very good. Drinks were affordable. We ordered their candied wings (10 for $16). I think what was delivered to our table were smoked wings. They were definitely fall off the bone, slightly on the dry side but it was also midnight; still delicious and we would order it again. Possibly order a little earlier in the evening. In the women's restroom, there were 2 stalls. 1 was clogged. I wish staff checked on the restroom and restocked paper towels. Heads up: be careful if you're standing in line to use stalls, the entrance door could swing right into you. read more

Came here for the ribs and enjoyed the music-theme atmosphere too. We sat under a Twisted Sister guitar which was funny since we're visiting from Long Island. The ribs were exceptional, the coleslaw phenomenal and overall we just really enjoyed our meal and time here. Marked as a favorite for next time we're in the area. read more

Popped in after work one day for a technical mixer. I didn't see anyone smoking but my sinuses did burn a bit when I walked in. Like there is years of cigarette smoke in the walls. Over all though the food was actually pretty good (pretzels and cheese, garlic cheese curds, chicken quesadilla) and the beer was cold and refills were brought promptly. Seems like a place for an older crowd and they had a stage set up for a band. The bathroom was really weird. I should have taken a picture of the stall doors, but there was over a foot of space below and I could see well over it so that made me feel uncomfortable. Loved the music they placed while we sat at the bar. The place wasn't busy. There's a sign outside that says "Happy Hour 11-7". However, asking the bartender what the happy specials were - she had no clue. We also discovered she didn't have any experience with drinking. Wasn't able to recommend the better of 2 IPAs to another patron. She could have told the patron - this is the one that most people order but instead she said I don't know, I've never had either. We ordered appetizers as our dinner. And they were both really good. Pretzels came with both mustard & cheese. Love that we didn't have to pick only one. Nachos were good too! Yum! read more

We flew in on a late flight to TYS and were hungry. We weren't really familiar with the area, so we checked out Yelp for some ideas. This place popped up and the menu looked good, plus they were open until 2:30 a.m. and it was already 12:30 a.m. We parked down the hill behind what we thought was the restaurant and went up & into it. Wrong place. A dive bar that was 2 doors UP from where we were trying to go. We walked through, out the front door, and walked TWO DOORS DOWN. Not sure if they are with the same owners or group, but they have very different clienteles. Two Doors Down is a more college aged to +/- 35 year old fun crowd. Live music, sports TV screens, ... Seat yourself & a server will be there soon. Great service by our waitress who was very attentive and outgoing. She checked back frequently and was on-point. We ordered the Tennessee Tots (recommended), Jack Daniels chili 5-ways, and Mac & cheese w/ pulled pork. Very delicious. A slight (very slight, but still) bit on the salty side, at the level of about 1/2-way through you really notice it & then ¾- done you're at your salty limit, even if you're hungry. Aside from that, the flavors were really good, presentation was nice for this caliber of venue (it's a bar & grill, not a white glove restaurant) and we were satisfied. We left with no hunger. We went on a Saturday night and it was crowded. We were unable to get a seat. After about 30 minutes, we were able to order a drink and it took another 20 minutes to get it. It was a $10 mixed drink but it was all ice. There could not have been more than 2 ounces of fluid in either glass. I tipped the bartender hoping to get better service for our next round before I noticed so I paid $25 for two glasses of ice. We live in west Knoxville so don't get to this part of Maryville too often. We discovered Two Doors Down about five years ago when it was a dive smoking bar. Since then no longer a smoking bar and the food is amazing. Almost as amazing as the people that work there. I stopped in here with a friend and we were greeted and told that we could sit wherever. We just came in for drinks so we ordered mimosas that were $6 each on a Monday afternoon which is such a deal! It's a bar atmosphere. Cold beer ( salted lime draft was awesome) and a nice selection of different craft brews. Service was great, no complaints here. Food was bar food. Slaw ( Dijon mustard) was great, wings were ok- lukewarm but good hot wing flavor. Smoked wings were good, but could have used a little sauce. The waitress did ask if I wanted any sauce, I said no I'll try as is. Tater tots were cold. Pizza and macaroni & cheese were all good. I've been wanting to go here for the last two years and I finally pulled the trigger yesterday. What I learned is unless you're a biker, they act like they don't want you there. It's a weird vibe. The draught beer selection absolutely sucks. A couple random beers but no coors or coors light or anything of that type. So any regular American type beers it's going to be in a bottle or can. I ordered the bbq chicken sliders. The chicken was shredded and cold, like right out of the fridge cold. They basically pour some bbq sauce all over it to make it bbq chicken. This place is such a gem. Great food. I've been here for the live music and Karaoke, which is always super-fun, but today, I had lunch. The burger was really good. I love the potato salad, too.
