a bottle of beer on a table

Stillhouse Tavern is on Homberg Dr off Kingston Pk behind Nama and across from Chick-fil-a. Stillhouse is a dark smoky bar with a few beers on tap and a descent spirits selection. The bar offers pool tables, darts, arcade games and a digital juke box. Stillhouse Tavern has several TVs and will almost definitely have your teams game on. The feature that sets this bar apart from the others is the staff. Stillhouse has fired more great bartenders in the last year then most employee in 20 years. The Stillhouse Tavern employs a motley crue of personalities that make my visits enjoyable every time. The Stillhouse Tavern is open to 3am almost every night and will sever food up until last call. If you drop by start up a conversation with the girls behind the bar, I guarantee you will not regret it. The Stihouse Tavern can seem intimidating to the uninitiated but spend sometime to get to know the place. Stillhouse Tavern really knows how to treat its regulars. From the regulars to the staff, they're always ready to make a new friend.

Super Smokey. Didn't even get all the way in the door before we decided it was too much. Unfortunate, to say the least!

Came in for Happy Hour on a Monday evening (walking distance from the nearby Springhill Suites), $2…read moreoff the premium drafts (and they have some good ones!) and 25% off apps. I had a couple of beers, paid my bill, I went back to my hotel to get some work done, then came back for dinner. Monday night's special is any po'boy and they throw in a cold beer for free! I can't pass that up... I got the roast beef drippings po'boy with horseradish mayo and a side cup of pimento cheese grits; everything was excellent, but the sandwich was really messy. Still tasted really good, though. Three beers, a great sammich (although I'll probably get the oyster or catfish option next time), and a side of creamy grits for $40 total between two visits (that includes tips). I will definitely be back to this place next time I'm in Chattanooga. It looks like there are great specials each night Monday through Friday; I just happened to be here on Monday. Service was very prompt and able to offer some insight on the po'boys, which was helpful. *NOTE* the walk is through apartments and townhouses so pretty safe but no sidewalk for part of it.

It might be maybe 20%-23% but not 25%. They should just say on their menu they round down but it's not the case, I'd check your receipts the next time you go just Incase based off the principal. Small percent but honestly feels mischievous.

Each oyster has a beautiful deep shell filled with clean, briny liquor that captures the true taste of the ocean. The flavor is perfectly balanced with a crisp saltiness followed by a smooth, slightly sweet finish that makes you want another one immediately. The texture is firm yet delicate, making them incredibly satisfying to eat. Whether enjoyed on their own, with a squeeze of lemon, or a light mignonette, these oysters truly shine. Irish Point oysters deliver a fresh, refined seafood experience and are easily some of the best oysters you can have. Highly recommended.

The stuffed mushrooms did not taste fresh and also lacked flavor. The calamari lacked flavor as well and was a big disappointment. The server was nice and set our expectations, advising that some of the items we ordered were more of an acquired taste, but we were still disappointed. There was a server change at one point, and the new server was not careful when delivering the food and spilled the gumbo upon arrival. Considering the price and value, this place is definitely a one and done.
