Do not use, you will regret it. We called and set up time and date for our move. Sent over all the requested info and was told it was all good to go. The day of the move I hadn't heard anything so I messaged about an hour before the scheduled time. Didn't get any answer. 15 mins before the movers called and tried to cancel because it was "suppose" to rain. I told them I didn't have any other chose because I had to be out that day. They finally showed up, walked around the apartment and said I had too much big items and they wouldn't take it all. We didn't have any other choice so we told them just take what they would. After loading 15 boxes they said they wouldn't take the clothes. When we questioned why at this point they got mad about asking a question and said they wouldn't move us. Said they are not "slaves". I don't think asking people to move the items they are getting paid to move should make them feel like slaves. Needless to say they left without moving anything leaving us last minute moving everything on our own. Tried to reach back out to company and have had no response in three weeks. read more

They 2 guys we had were super. They wrapped our curio cabinet in blankets and then in plastic, finally securing it in the truck. It was being moved from Iowa City to Cincinnati. The price for them to wrap the cabinet, take it down 2 flights of stairs and secure it in the truck was very reasonable. Thank you Two Guys, Great job done for us. Be careful about these reviews. Do your research!! When I used them they weren't good. I just e-mailed the owner, if they simply offered an apology, that would be acceptable. Not to try to marginalize my comments. It says more about their company on how they react to the situation. I will not be commenting anymore about this. I am moving on. read more

They were wonderful. I needed a treadmill moved from one house to another. First estimate was $500, second $200, these guys did it for $120. They were considerate enough to move me up in the schedule because of the bad weather forecast, and they were very clean and careful to not dirty my house. I will call them again! read more

My first move with this company was positive, but the second time around was a nightmare! When I booked the appointment, the guy answering the phone was extremely rude and had absolutely no customer service skills. Eventually we got a date to move. The day of the move, the movers were late. There was a younger guy who was polite and helpful, but his partner was rude, surly, and unpleasant. Like my last reviews, some things didn't survive the move and ended up breaking. My biggest problem with Two Guys Two Trucks Moving though was when I called in to give my feedback and complain about the older man who was helping with my move. I explained to the man at the company that I was not happy with one of the movers attitudes, and instead of being apologetic, he was argumentative and blamed me (the customer!!!) and implied I didn't know what I was talking about and that I was just crazy. I gave myself a couple of months to calm down, but I did want to update my review of this company. It is cheap, but you end up with some broken stuff and pissed off because the customer service is terrible. read more

I used these movers 7 years ago when they were literally 2 guys with 2 trucks and I had no problem booking them again this time around. I reserved them a month before my move, spoke to them on the phone to describe my furniture and they text me a week before my move to confirm. On the day of the move, NO ONE SHOWED UP. I could not get a hold of anyone via phone calls or text. I left a voicemail and still never heard from anyone. Of course, I was on a strict schedule and needed movers right away. I was able to get a hold of Bell Movers and would highly recommend them. Two Guys Two Trucks is unreliable- do NOT use them. You don't want to be left high and dry on moving day. read more

The guys were running a little late, happens, HOWEVER, they called 30 minutes before their proposed arrival time to inform me they would be a little late. That's a huge plus. They estimated the moving of furniture (all I wanted to be moved) to take 2-3 hours. They completed the move in a little over an hour. They are very professional and quick. These guys are great! I had a small job, moving just two large items between my home my garage. They were very flexible with scheduling and were patient with me when I scheduled the move, cancelled less than an hour later, then two days later, wanted to schedule again. When the 'two guys' arrived to do the work, they were courteous and worked efficiently. I was impressed with how they communicated as the moved the large, heavy items. Avoid. No showed on a Sunday and left us high and dry. And that was after telling us two hours late to begin with. Emails were sure to tell us arrival time and increased to four guys to get the job done. We got the job done with U-HAUL. The best ever and came to the rescue Sunday. These guys were fantastic! They arrived on time, a little ahead of schedule, and went at a fast pace walk to a run the entire time. It was one of the hottest days of the year and they never stopped. Because of that I was only charged for the two hours! They are amazing! I was totally dreading moving but hiring these guys made the move a great experience! Movers were a couple of hours late due to a longer-than-expected move right before me, but they called ahead twice to keep me informed. I wasn't in a hurry, but I can see how it might be stressful for someone moving on a tight deadline. They offered to comp a half-hour due to the lateness, but I declined since there was no rush for us. All of our stuff was moved in great condition and they took special care with an antique heirloom. They were both cheerful, very helpful, and fun to have around for the move. Would definitely recommend. read more

2 guys 2 trucks Moving was unprofessional, offensive, aggressive and also careless and bad at their jobs. Legit was going to cancel if I could find ANY OTHER COMPANY. I was yelled at by Nick on the phone, they threatened to cancel my reservation if I didn't accommodate their time constraints. I didn't recieve the service, or time slot I booked and was made to feel very uncomfortable. They also, unsurprisingly, broke some of my stuff and left boxes and totes behind. When I say this dude was frighteningly aggressive I'm not exaggerating, I stayed in the car the whole time because I wasn't comfortable being in my own place while he was in it. If you can avoid them, I would. My boyfriend was the one to deal with them and they just complained about having to do their literal jobs the whole time. And let him know repeatedly that they would be leaving at noon, no matter what was left, that they had a "tight schedule" (my reservation was until 1pm) As a result of them forcing an earlier time slot I also now get to clean and pay out of my own pocket carpet cleaners at my new place. read more

I live in a 3rd story condo and they moved beds and furniture up, as well as heavier items down. We hired Two Guys Two Trucks Moving company to move a shipment of our belongings. The crew showed up two hours late and hurried the loading job so they could get to their next appointment on time. While unloading the Uhaul after our move, we noticed how poorly it had been packed and we experienced significant damage to many of our items. We politely provided this feedback to the guys from Two Guys Two Trucks, who loaded our UHaul and emphasized we were not seeking any compensation but just thought it would be helpful for them to have this feedback. Their response was extremely disappointing. They simply said that level of damage should be expected and they would make sure to never work with us again for providing this feedback. I was stunned by the degree of unprofessional behavior. We have since used two other moving companies for our next loads and they were both wonderful--professional, one the same cost and one less expensive--a completely different experience. We regret not doing more due diligence on Two Guys Two Trucks Moving company before hiring them since their lack of professionalism and integrity had already been noted by others. There is so much choice in the Cedar Rapids/iowa City area, go with any other option. I should also note this is the first time I have ever written a negative review, just to emphasize the degree of disappointment in Two Guys Two Trucks Moving company. read more

Twoguystwotrucks should not be considered for any move. First of all they are not licensed as required in Iowa as a household mover. Our move was a total disaster. The police were called and the move was never completed, though they promised to send another crew to complete the move. That move was on August 6, 2016. They left the move in boxes and furniture in the hallway of the apartment building. The address listed for the firm per Angie's list apparently is not the address, as mail sent to that address has been returned. They never responded to follow up calls or emails. The employees of the firm were lewd and vulgar, pictures of the obscene gestures are preserved. No one should consider this firm for any type of move. read more

Two men and Two trucks moved our college kids apt (3 ppl) into a storage unit. They were so professional, efficient, and worked together like a synchronized swim team. It was a sweltering day, up and down four flights of stairs, and this was their 4th move of the day and they were all smiles! Eased our stress!
