I finally stopped in and checked out The Healthy Kitchen. Originally came across THK on Uber Eats…read more While in the area one Saturday morning , I decided to place an order for pick-up. Once alerted that my order was ready, I pulled up and grabbed a metered spot right in front. As I entered, the shop it was empty but the staff was busy working on online orders in the open kitchen. Seating is available at a couple tables and counter top. I grabbed a seat as I waited because my order wasn't actually complete. Staff was pleasant but clearly behind on orders. Once completed I grabbed my order and headed out. I went with the #5. Breezin- strawberry, pineapple, peach, w/ orange juice base and I added banana. Overall a local spot offering healthy options on the go. Just A Note: They are on Uber Eats but they also offer online ordering and you can get 15% off your first order when ordering directly from them.

For drinks, I had the Legally Blonde with oranges, lemon, pineapple, and ginger root. It tasted healthy and not too sweet. I personally wished I tasted more ginger in it. She had the Crush with apple, lemon, orange, peach, pineapple, and a ginger shot. Hers had the ginger and flavors mine was lacking. I went with the Captain Jack wrap with an impossible burger as the protein, vegan mozzarella, sweet potato french fries, lettuce, and bbq sauce. This wrap blew my mind. As soon as I pulled it apart the cheese just stretched across both wraps. The i.possi ke burger and sweet potato fries blended beautifully, and it had just the right amount bbq sauce to not feel over-saturated. I highly recommend it.

Try: Chicken & Pancakes, Corned Beef Hash, and Chicken Noodle Soup!…read more Why: Took my parents to an early brunch and we enjoyed Chicken & Pancakes, Corned Beef Hash, and Chicken Noodle Soup! They were able to sub the waffles for pancakes, which was a huge stack of 3 fluffy pancakes topped with juicy fried chicken and maple syrup. Very filling and easily shareable. My dad got the Corned Beef Hash with eggs sunny side up. It also came with lots of sliced potatoes, which had slightly crispy edges. We dipped them in genie house sauce that was flavorful. Mom was craving soup to settle her tummy and she really liked the broth of Chicken Noodle Soup. Everything was flavorful and delicious. I washed down my food with mimosas that was nicely filled to the brim. Notes: Hostess and Waiter were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Waiter gave good recs too and kept the mimosa flowing. Clean spacious diner with large booths and table inside, and outside seating. We came at 11am before the brunch crowd so restaurant was about 1/2 capacity, by the time we left it was packed. Lots of families and strollers. We had a corner booth near front window, great location for people watching while enjoying a meal. Overall, good service, good brunch atmosphere, and good food.

We believe that good food starts with good choices, which is why we partner with local farmers and suppliers to bring you the finest, freshest produce and proteins. Our menu is a reflection of our dedication to a healthier lifestyle without compromising on flavor.' Green Kitchen is living up to its philosophy by offering healthy grains, salads, soups and a wealth of options. Rochelle and I met up for lunch and dined Al fresco. The menu offers really tantalizing options: burgers, pancake options, salads, etc. Rochelle has been on an Eggs Benedict kick and that was her choice. I ordered an egg white spinach mozzarella omelette. There are options such as home fries, French fries or salad as sides to accompany the entree. We both chose home fries and whole wheat toast for my omelette. Rochelle ordered a regular iced coffee took one sip then one sip of my iced cappuccino and decided my cap was better. Here's how our entrees tasted: -Eggs Benedict: Two poached eggs on an english muffin with canadian bacon and avocado, topped with chipotle hollandaise sauce. I tasted the avocado and it was creamy and fresh. Rochelle enjoyed her meal immensely. -Egg White Omelette with spinach and mozzarella is made with three eggs, side of whole wheat toast and delicious home fries. The portion is generous and filling. This is part of build your own omelette on menu. -Iced Cappuccino: cream, dreamy and frothy, tbh, no added sweetener needed. -Service: courteous although I asked for iced water with lemon and received just water. Green Kitchen is a fine place for any meal; breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. There is a Happy Hour weekdays from 11am-7pm. GK is a five star experience, however, loss of one star is the attention to details: we wanted to pay in cash but needed change from a big bill. The server took the bill and some confusion later " the bill you handed is not enough to pay the bill.." Okey dokey. GK is definitely a nice post shopping ( Bloomingdales), gym or meet up for a meal. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. I wanted a Bourbon sour. I didn't get the gentleman's name but he went to the market and bought 2 limes to make my drink and it was outstanding. He said fresh ingredients are better than mixes and I agree! We ordered the large taco pizza to share. I cannot express just how delicious it was. Fresh ingredients were abundant on the thin, crispy crust. I wish I took a picture! Restroom was very clean and nicely decorated. I live out east in Suffolk County. This blows away Mama Lombardi's pizza and any other local pizza joints out here. Open a shop out here please!! Highly recommend

Hospitality 5/5 Service/Ambiance felt cozy and comfortable…read moreFood: nice semi twist on the flavor of Rabbo with the Moro (mixed rice and guandules). Rabbo had a nice acidic savory sweet flavor, not the typical latin tomato paste style. Definitely shareable for 2 for moderate eaters. Pizza: the small version looks like a personal pan but enough for 2, maybe 3. Now PRICE: Its tough because its about ingredients vs quantity. For 2 orders of meals may seem like borderline liitle over priced but post eating, i was content with how the pizza and entree had many ingredients. And my family of 3 was SUPER content. Definitely will go back for 2nd visit. Also try the Guava cheesecake if your into latin flavors, basic but hits the spot.
