We've been getting delivery from Sabba's weekly. The menu is great and expansive- easy to find combos of healthy choices, delicious chicken and ribs. The sides are really great too. Tostones, grilled veggies, sweet plantains and the beet and green salads are all really good. Since we order every week, we sometimes notice a difference in things like sometimes the tostones can be a little thick/starchy, but most of the time they're perfectly flat and crispy. Food is good. Service not so friendly. Guy with beard always seems to have a problem with me and other customers. If you don't like your 9-5 get another job that's not in customer service. Nasty attitude every-time. This WAS my go-to spot but won't be returning. Do better. read more

Food is good the salad not so much but the rice the chicken and the pita bread, are really good. Service is ok not one of the best but it passed. Ambience, is a take out food place. Me especially didn't like it to eat in. But I recommend the food. read more

The customer service was EXTREMELY POOR. I went with intentions of ordering a Caesar chicken wrap like always, i'm from the area so I am always going there. I told the guy TWICE no croutons and he was making so many orders , in the mist of my chicken on the grill BURNING, the cook then put croutons in my wrap, when mentioned both cook and the guy taking the order started talking about me bad in spanish. I'm hispanic so I understand Spanish but I let it slide because it's early 9am, I just came from the gym and I don't feel well. I already let the chicken burn, now there's croutons so the cook had to make my wrap again, mind you upon ordering my food I was told I had to wait, I was waiting 12-15 mins while my chicken on the grilling legit burning. so now since he took nearly 20 mins to make the wrap and it's the wrong order, I had to wait longer so he can make it correctly. The guy offered me something to drink and I told him i drink water only and there's water in my house, is it possible to get a discount since i'm being inconvenience. He walked away from me to answer the phone and proceeded to talk in spanish about me with the cook. While the cook making my wrap again, he proceeds to put less of what he put the first time so I approached him about him and they are ignoring me so I said forget it and walked out. i wasted 30 mins for the guy to tell me the only thing he can do for me is offer me something to drink. not even a couple bucks off my wrap since I was inconvenienced and he's half assing my wrap now because he had to do it again. he said i had to pay full price and when I told him I let the burnt chicken slide and the fact that they was talking about me in spanish. I should've left when I had to wait and saw the chicken cooking for about 15 mins and burning. they lost a customer and the guy didn't care because he shrugged his shoulders and he said if i didn't want it then cool. the fact that businesses is okay with losing customers is insane. read more

It's right around the corner from my house so looking for a quick meal you can get it there. The sandwiches that they make are made to order. They have a variety of food on their menu. The food is freshly made always. The salad is amazing you can tell them exactly what you want in your Salad. read more

We have been ordering from here since it first opened way back (don't remember the exact year its been a long while). The food choice is great and so are the prices. We have eaten just about everything from breakfast, dinner, dessert and their smoothies. Everything has always been great. Their busiest days are obviously the weekend, so make sure to plan ahead as you may have to wait a while, but it doesn't bother us. I would recommend Sabba to anyone. read more

I decided to pick up some take out so I can watch the Packers vs 49rs playoff game. Found this new spot around the area and decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken and rib combo and it messed me up. Within 2 hours I got sick. Got some really bad food poisoning and if I hadn't forced the food back up, I would've been left in a worst condition. The next day, I was in bed the entire day. It really bothers me to leave a negative review for a neighborhood local restaurant but this time I was soo sick that I have to warn others. read more

They don't open on time. I waited outside for 15 minutes starting at 7:46 and when they opened the door at 8:02 it was only to let in a late worker. The staff said the kitchen was not yet open so I sat down inside. Woman said the cook MIGHT be in in 10-15 minutes. Food is okay and they have lots of choices. I come here because I like sitting down for a meal on occasion and not running into a bodega and dashing right back out. Staff is friendly and the location is convenient. Just don't come at exactly 8:00 when they're supposed to be open because they're not. At least not today. read more

I moved to this side of the Bronx & there's never any good food, one night i came across sabba's chicken, read a couple of reviews & decided to try it & it was so good lol i ordered the chicken & ribs, that might be my favorite so far but the Mediterranean wrap was good too, i usually order from seamless and they come fast and the food is always nice, flavorful and hot. Their chicken is hands down Delicious!! I don't believe anyone can argue that. It is truly worth it. I have been here a few times, The sides are not the best. Be prepared to wait at least 20-30 mins because they take a long time to make your food. Great spot but I must admit,.. they are a little pricey. Pretty expensive for the south bronx. read more
