Tried this place for the first time after a family member recommended it, and I'm glad we gave it a try! I'd give the chicken chimi a 9/10, the yaroa a 9/10, and the mozzarella sticks an 8/10. Everything was flavorful, and it was a solid first experience. The place is pretty small with very limited seating, and there's no dedicated parking, just street parking. We ended up double parking and ordering takeout, but thankfully our food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The staff was friendly, our order came out correctly, and the service was quick, which made the experience even better. The ambience is simple and casual with a neighborhood spot kind of vibe. The food here is fresh. The ambience is fast food. Couple of tabletops not too much but the service is fantastic -local gentleman work there. Polite and ready to serve they got fresh fruit juices and fruit shakes as well as the pastellitos little pies filled with stuffing eggs, cheese , meat or a combo, they have totones or Maduras which are fried banana or plantains and the freshest protein. I used to love this truck! Not sure if they possibly got a new chef but the quality of the food has not been the same. I would order from them pretty often and my food had always come fresh and fast. I had to give them a break as I got extremely sick once. I am not sure if the food was old or what the situation may have been but it wasn't good at all. I decided to give them another chance and I am sad to say that nothing improved. The meat in my sandwich had to have been sitting there for hours if not days the bread was as hard as a rock. The food that I received from here has to be the most disgusting food I have ever had delivered to me. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it smelled FOUL!! As soon as I opened it, I knew something was off... Good thing I was smart enough to open it and inspect what was actually inside of my quesadilla. I found something inside that almost made me throw up; it was slimey and stinky.  The second was part of my order, the grilled chicken with tostones, had to be at least a day old. Something didn't sit right after consuming and I never returned. As I was walking home one morning I saw the unsafe practices of this food truck. Ordered the Monfonguitos (vegetarian) and roommate had the yaroa de papas pollo. The chicken in the yaroa de papas made me actually consider giving up vegetarianism, no kidding whatsoever. I call her immediately and told her the next day and she just burst out laughing. It's a must try it yourself spot.
