A day later, I was sent a text that if I send another $1,000 today I'd receive a "paid in full" receipt. I declined the offer and glad I did. I didn't receive a valid contract, no Bill of Laden, or Know My Rights as required by law. In short, I requested a refund after more upfront money was demanded. The company is refusing to refund my $850 even though no work was completed. In a conversation with Chris Wilson he said, "Thanks for donating to my boys." This seems to be the rule and not the exception for this company as other complaints also involve large deposits he doesn't refund. Upon further research, Divine Movers, has a F rating by the Better Business Bureau and is also unauthorized to move household goods by the Federal Motor Carrier Administration.

And when confronted, they refused to do the right thing to move, didn't acknowledge the ADA law, started to call people racist things (e.g. black related), and mocked at others' disability. They rent Uhaul truck for work, only have a tshirt for identification. Can't be found by google search, not sure they are even licensed. Be careful with their service.
