Here you have to park in front of door and carry it in or through small overhead door entry - tough during rain or snow. Also they are very much pushing using their app for entry vs using the keypad - which is easy and I prefer. So extremely annoying text every time I visit asking me to use app instead. If I wanted to I would. I'm hoping this is short term so I'll just keep deleting jerk texts. So overall this is ok. Not the cleanest or newest I have used. But easy, cheaper, and convenient. When they raise the rent, I'll probably move out. For now it works.

The floors haven't been vacuumed in months. There are hundreds of dead bugs in the hallway leading to my unit. Stay away from this site. It's horribly run and not maintained.

Minneapolis moving services are some of the most expensive anywhere I've experienced. I hope that simply means that MN companies pay their labor well. We paid $1365 + $180 tip (optional, but come on) for a 3-man crew at $260/hr (2-hour minimum), and we obviously also provided snacks and drinks (they declined breakfast). For comparison, in San Francisco it was $250/hr for 5 men. The rate was with both the weekday discount and winter pricing. Weekend would have been $285/hr for 3 men, and $345 for 4 men. There was no trip fee. Robert, in particular was incredible; he moved a 6 drawer dresser down a tight stairwell alone. They needed to remove the front door at one point, but did so without issue. They also were happy to use our own furniture pads and plastic wrap (leftover from a cross-country move). At one point, they had to back the huge truck through the alley on icy ground, and had no problems. Also, it was easy to provide them inventory by email, and easy to reach them by phone. Lots of moving companies were annoying to contact, which is partly why we chose this one. One a few minor issues: one piece of furniture was shedding pieces of wood. I think they were reinforcements put on by previous owners. I didn't even know they were there, and it doesn't seem to have affected the furniture. They also forgot a couple of items in the yard, including a big smoker we had to move on our own. It's partly my fault, I told them we were good to go. Also, we were made to sign a lot of paperwork, and at various points it was for things like "you confirm that nothing is broken and everything has arrived" and, like, it's weeks later and I'm still unpacking, there is no way I would have known for sure. It's fine, because so far we have had no issues, but if someone did have issues it might feel like being strong-armed via contract. The guys in the truck were just doing their jobs, so it's the process that is problematic more than anything. We would use these guys again!

The guy on the phone said **36 was available. I finished up with him. And I opened up **36 and left my valuable guitars in it. 12 guitars that I've had for decades. I'm going through a divorce so I have to dangerously store things. Yesterday I came to put the rest of my belongings in **36. And my lock had been cut off and a management lock had been put on. Went to talk to the manager. Yes, we cut the lock off and disposed of the guitars. She said she threw them in the dumpster. And the garabge truck crushed them two days ago! I then asked her who cut the lock. She said her auctioneer cut it off. I asked to talk to him. Crickets. I went back and looked at my agreement for **36. The idiot that found and told me to move into had accidentally written down E027. This number doesn't exist in the entire park. The park is 1000 through 5000 number sequence. I am devastated. My lifes work gone. The manager doesn't have any teeth and behaves like a meth addict. I believe she has a side hustle going on there and they are taking people's property and re selling it. And ironically? I had to rent a 3rd space to put my stuff into. Because I had friends and a rental trailer that needed to be returned in a few hours. I filed a police report today. They said anything found in any locker cannot be owned, sold or destroyed for 30 days. They have broken the law. And a good law abiding citizen like me on a fixed income is financially ruined. Public Storage will take your stuff even when they make a mistake. My guitars were in there for only 6 days. And they took them. Public Storage is scamming people. I will sue this company in civil Court. Im quite sure it will be years before I'm compensated. This manager at the Inver grove heights, MN location has a scam going on. And? Everything is watched by remote cameras. I should be able to look at the footage. If you want to lose your life savings? Rent at Public Storage! When i try to find help higher up than this nasty crooked manager I get caught in phone call limbo. Public Storage shame on you. I thought you were repreable. But you scammed me and now I'm out of $5,000 dollars worth of guitars. Public Storage is a dreadful, specious, nefarious company. Don't put one valuable thing in Storage there.
