If I could have give 0 stars, I would have. I have used two men and a truck 3 times. The first two times they were awesome. The lead guy and his helper on the first time were the best. The 2nd time was equally as good, however, when I moved this last time into my home, they sent 2 trucks and 4 guys. The one that I had requested, which I had the first time was not available that day so they sent 4 others out. The one lead guy did not stay on top of the others and they just did what they wanted. They were slow, careless and I ended up with damaged furniture, damaged doorways into my NEW house and not one did they have the curtesy to let me know. They put things in one room that I asked them to and ended up just piling things on top of other things to the point where I can't get to anything without moving everything out. They put the remainder of the stuff in the garage and it looks like a trash heap in both my one bedroom and the garage. It took them almost 8 hours to move me. I did have 3 storage units, however, it only took 2 hours to move into the biggest one and about 1 1/2 hours to move into the 2nd one. I moved myself into the 3rd one. That was with only 2 guys per unit. This time, it took over 4 hours to move out of the units. That is insane. I am sorry to say that I would not recommend to anyone if you value your possessions and your time and money. read more

We hired 2 Men & A Truck to move a small hot tub. They assured us that they had the necessary equipment to move the tub up 18 wide stairs, through our house, and onto our deck. We had taken photos of the tub before hand and after. Three sides of our hot tub were damaged. This 1-star review is not about the damage. This review is a result of their lack of professionalism in handling the claim. We paid them EXTRA for what they deemed "insurance" to cover damages, but then refused to use that coverage to cover the damages they caused. I was told by Dalton Duran that they would send someone to our home to look at the damage and then settle with us. But continuous attemps to reach him resulted in being ghosted. We are filing a claim in civil court as a result. Just a word to the wise. Always get pictures before and after and be prepared for the worst. They aren't professional enough to handle the mistakes they makes. I'll never use them again. You shouldn't, either. read more

Gotta say, super unimpressed. It's taken me about six months to write this review because, let's face it unpacking takes time and I wanted to be thorough. So, let's start with the positives. The quote was in line with others we had received, and we had great reviews from friends. Staff were friendly and on time for both loading and unloading. Now, here's where the fun begins. I'll write a bulleted list because that's going to be easiest for folks to follow. 1. They did not (despite assurances to the contrary) have a truck big enough to fit all of our stuff. So that meant we had to leave some (expensive) things behind for the new owner at a ridiculously discounted price. I now have to buy a new outdoor setting, fire pit and BBQ. 2. Things were packed SO tightly into the truck that several heirlooms and items were damaged/broken (dents in washing machines, scratches on furniture, side tables broken, vases shattered). Of most frustration was an item of my late mother-in-laws that was shattered even though it was packed well (by AMS!). 3. The thing that pissed me off the most was the lack of interest the movers showed. In fact, they just left the broken stuff in the garage and when I found it they said "oh yeah, we were going to tell you about that." There was a lot of finger pointing to the "loading" crew who were different to the "unloading" crew. Obviously there's no way to tell who is responsible for the foolery. 4. The unloading crew tried to tell me they weren't able to put the furniture (beds) back together despite that being included in the price. They did it when I gave them my well-practiced disapproving teacher look. 5. They also didn't want to reconnect the washer and dryer (see above). 6. All this to say we totally realize things are going to get jammed up in a move. Especially one involving storage and several hundred miles. However, instead of saying "oh, hey! We don't have a big enough truck for all this" they just squished it alllll on in there. Further, we were promised a larger truck for unloading and that did not happen. More care could have been taken, especially for the price (and we also tipped both moving crews). All in all, I'm most upset about the broken and damaged stuff that was due to lack of care and concern and not having enough space. We may have had a rotten experience, and this may be an anomaly, but it's worth sharing. read more

The girls in the office were very kind and accommodating; they were prompt and even worked with me at the last minute to change my appointment time. However, that's where the great service ended. The movers showed up and got to work quickly, which I was originally impressed with. I began to realize that their swift work took the place of quality work. I had most of the boxes packed and in my living room, but apparently that wasn't good enough because I was met with eye rolls and sighs when I made specific requests. My furniture and boxes were tossed around without any concern (see photos) and they even threw their snack wrappers on the ground outside my front door. I could have rented a U-Haul and hired some guys off Craigslist to be rude and throw my stuff around for half the price. Shop around, I'm sure there are much better options for movers in Savannah. read more

I would have loved to have used their services to unload into my home in downtown historic Savannah as my realtor shared her good experiences, and why I called them in the first place. Unfortunately, one of the women doing the scheduling made a very rude, inappropriate and uncalled for remark: "You should really get a girlfriend to help you go through all your stuff!".. which I found highly insulting. Since when was it her business to get in my business and tell me what to do with my belongings?.. she doesn't even know me! Then, when I called to confirm booking she said she would refer me to someone else, "whom I didn't have a problem with." The company then emailed informing me they would not be willing to move me so they would not get a negative review. All I can say is, "Whaaaaa???".. if that woman had taken any responsibility and apologized for her comment perhaps we could have done business. But now I'll never use them, nor will I able to refer them. Somehow they switched it up and made ME the bad guy? Oh, c'mon now.. get real. read more

I really enjoyed my experience with Two Men and a Truck; they sent three guys and only charged me for two, and I liked them enough that I also hired them to move my parents; I met six different movers in total and they were all very friendly, professional, and careful with our stuff. They worked hard and didn't waste time and were fantastic about listening to mom's requests about her hand-painted furniture. I'm less particular about my stuff, but not a single thing was scratched or dinged on mine. They were great about explaining insurance and options to us both, and my parents were able to call in on Friday and schedule a move for Saturday. Both crews showed up on time. read more

They are very slow and bill you by the hour. The second time I used them a lot of my things were scratched or broken but they didn't notify me- they just positioned stuff as to hide it. They wreaked of weed when they showed up and snuck off to smoke it in the back of the storage unit. Highly unprofessional organization. I contacted a few movers as I needed a couple items moved within a small window of time. It was a short notice move, couple days. This was a local move 3 items one very heavy (movers were notified of this). In the end the lead on the job asked me to step in as the young men he brought with were extremely inexperienced and were not strong enough for the job. It was a disaster. read more

We had our move in July. We were moving from an apartment to a home and had a stop at my storage unit. They had 3 men come out that day. All of the men we very courteous and polite. They had the move done in 3 hours. There was one damaged item but they have fixed it in a decent amount of time read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. THE TRUCK WAS FILTHY, THEY HAD NO TOOLS WITH WHICH TO TAKE THINGS APART, NOR DID THEY BRING MOVING BLANKETS OR PLASTIC TO WRAP OUR MATTRESSES IN. WHEN WE POINTED THIS OUT THEY GOT IN THEIR TRUCK AND LEFT, leaving us without anyone to move us. The office said that was their only truck (really?) and they did not have another crew. In addition, one of the three men would not wear a mask even though we asked him several times. Unfortunately had a 300$ samsung TV speaker go missing during our move. We assumed that it may have been left on the truck since it was not in a box (it was wrapped in bubble wrap). Called customer service 3 times, all 3 times they said they would look into it and get back to us but never did. Sent and email to corporate and they said the only thing to do if we thought it had been stolen was to file a police report. Use this company at your own risk. read more

The gentlemen that did the actual moving were absolutely wonderful and hardworking, but when I called to complain about the size of the truck (being too small to fit all the items in our home) the general manager told me it was my fault for having too many things and they could've made 2 trips it just would've cost me more. I used them a little less than a year ago to move the exact amount of stuff with the addition of a washer/dryer & extra tv, so this time after booking the move I called to let them know about the additional items and they said, 'no problem', while on the phone the GM said, 'I don't know what you want me to do, it's a 24' truck.' If they had even once mentioned my items would possibly not fit in the truck I would have gladly called a different company that had larger vehicles. I contacted Two Men and a Truck for a residential move from Savannah, GA to Atlanta, GA. Two men came to my home to do an initial estimate and they were prompt, professional and courteous. On the day of the move their movers packed my things on the truck. Given the time to load and the distance, it required an overnight trip. I opted not to get the insurance for the move as it is expected that there will be me minor dings and scratches to belongings and as I felt the movers had taken care to wrap and cover things appropriately. During the time that the truck was en route to Atlanta, there was significant rain. This resulted in a piece of my furniture having significant water damage (see pictures below). This water damage was a result of the truck they were using having a leak. Several of the pillows to my couch were also wet. They were air dried with no problem. The appropriate paper work was filed prior to the movers leaving my home regarding the dresser. It took approximately three weeks and about 5-7 different phone calls to this company to even get a response about the damage to my furniture. I was informed that despite the damage coming from inadequate equipment (i.e. truck with a leak), they were not responsible for any damage costs as I did not get the insurance and would only be able to provide me with a check for $300. I feel that it is their responsibility to provide sound equipment for the move and they did not do so, resulting in damage to my dresser. The other scratches incurred on my furniture were an expected result of the move. I did not make any complaints about those as I am aware of the risk and opted not to get the insurance. Furthermore, I was not informed about the defective truck prior to the move and felt that the three weeks to hear from them was a representation of poor customer service and lack of care for my items. They have soiled my perception of Two Men and A Truck moving services. read more

I only gave one star because I had to give a star... BEWARE!!! 1. They were 2 1/2 hours late (overbooked I was told....) 2. It took them twice as long as it should have (which one of the movers told me....) 3. My new dryer was dented ("no problem it will still work") 4. My coffee table is missing one of the corner decorative pieces (it would be cheap to replace the rivet, probably 69 cents...") The problem is you can't find one to match...... the actual movers were nice and friendly- although they are responsible for the damage... The general manager was rude and dismissive. He actually said he "probably would have made an adjustment but because I had posted to social media he would not." I am happy to warn people about the unprofeesional nature of this business. read more

I booked my move 9 days prior. While booking, I was on the phone with Jennifer and I requested a move time of 11:30am, which she said will work, and didn't say anything otherwise. I then got my pre-move letter, which listed the estimated arrival time of movers as 11:30am-12:30pm. On the day of the move, the movers did not arrive until 2:00pm. Why bother even saying 11:30-12:30 if it's going to be so incorrect. When I talked with Mark, the supervisor, he could only offer me an apology and say he will make a note of it. I never heard anything back after the fact. Don't bother booking with them because they will for sure waste your time when it comes to moving day. read more

I've never worked with a moving company before, but the gentlemen that helped me on 1/30/17 were awesome. Rasheen was so helpful and had such a positive attitude and Travis was very efficient and moved quickly (I'm pretty sure I have the names correct, but it was such a busy day and I'm terrible remembering names). My boyfriend and I were moving to pooler from about 30 mins away. I called all around and two men and a truck had the best deal for packing and moving. We only had two rooms that needed to be packed. The women I spoke with on the phone was very nice and we talked about everything that needed to be packed in great detail. I made it clear we were moving from a third floor apartment to a second floor so it would definitely be some work. She said it wasn't a problem and quoted me based on our conversation. When the movers came there were only two people. They were not aware that it was the third floor and told us that their boss should have sent more than just the two guys. The movers were fabulous and did the best they could. We ended up having to pack everything on our own because it was taking so long. A job that we were told would take four hours took over seven. They miss quoted us by five hundred dollars. Again, the guys helping us were awesome but the women who scheduled it obviously didn't pay me any attention and made a huge mistake that we were extremely unhappy with. Also we had to make a claim for scratches on our door. They came out two weeks later to look at it and now it's been over s month and haven't heard anything else about fixing it. I am really disappointed in the many issues we've had after using Two Men and a Truck Savannah. I packed all the same things, placed them in a pod, shipped them from Seattle to Savannah, had my husband and his friend move everything into our apartment here and not a single thing was broken or damaged. I didn't think hiring a professional moving service to move my things half a mile away would result in so many issues, including severe scratches in leather and wood furniture, broken glasses, broken mirrors, and broken decorations. The extra help they called also literally threw everything on the ground. Even things on hangers or boxes that were marked with the appropriate room. They also told me that the move for a two bedroom apartment would take two-three hours. I explained that we were upstairs and what furniture we had, which is honestly less than most. It took six hours. The manager sent someone out to fix the scratches/dents on the leather couch and tables and gave me $50 back for everything that was broken bc we didn't buy their highest insurance plan from them. That was after multiple emails and calls to get him to respond to me. read more
