There isn't a full on disc golf course here, just a disc golf driving range. Feel free to work on your short game on the mini-disc golf course. The mini course is right next to the driving range and has about five baskets. If you want the full park experience there is an open field here which is perfect for picnics, playing a pick-up football game, or makingthose sweet Tik Tok vids. Get ready to "park it" and have some fun!

There's a fountain inside and outside of the park, and poop bags are provided along the fence. There are also a few benches and even a picnic table in the park, so it's really nice for humans to hang out too. The people who come here are friendly and always happy to talk about their dogs. They're mostly good and responsible dog owners. Parking is never a problem either (though I'll say I've only ever come on weekdays), and it's just a few yards to the fence of the dog park. The only thing is that this park is a mixed large and small breed dog park. Most of the dogs are on the medium or large size, but you'll sometimes get VERY small dogs, so owners and dogs alike have to be very careful at times, especially when the pups are running around chasing each other. I also noticed that some people bring small children here, which is technically against the rules. For the safety of both the dogs and children, I just don't recommend bringing small kids here because you never know how either will react to the other. My sister and I come here often and her neighbors love it too. I highly recommend this place, and it's nice for a walk around the dam as well.

The small dog park seems to be empty more often than not so I end up taking my dog in the big dog area a lot. There's a middle section of the large dog park with a big fence blocking a muddy area. It's been there for a year with no change so I don't know what's going on. Otherwise, I've had great experiences at this dog park!

The trail is mostly flat with just a few small hills, so it feels very accessible for people of all ages and fitness levels. The views of the lake are beautiful, and the bridges you get to walk or run over add a really nice touch. I went in January when it was cooler, and it was not crowded at all, super peaceful and relaxing. Parking was free, which is always a win, and there are bathrooms and a water bottle refill station on site. There's also a park ranger station and a boardwalk that goes out to the lake (though it was closed when I went). Other visitors mentioned they sometimes see wild turkeys and other animals along the trail. No wildlife sightings for me this time, but still an amazing experience. If you're looking for a scenic, low-stress running or walking spot, this place is absolutely worth a visit!

Free parking and restrooms at the trailhead with a great map that gives you your trail options. A dog park is also located at the trailhead entrance. The trail is paved and somewhat shaded but not completely covered and follows the river and many trees. Lots of hikers, dogs and bikes which made me feel safe hiking alone. An alternate entrance is available at the YMCA located on the map.
