Truffle shiitake mushroom pasta
Taylor T.

While staying in Boracay, we ate at Two Seasons and it was so good that we went TWICE! The truffle shiitake mushroom pasta was my favorite with the perfect balance between that creamy and truffle flavor. The sizzling lengua sisig was also delicious and rich. Definitely get it with a side of rice. Halo halo was refreshing after a hot day and I liked that it had so many colorful toppings. Service was great and quick

Be prepared for a long wait during weekend lunch & dinner rush times. We waited a good three hours during our first time here and had a late dinner at past 9:00. The wait was only made bearable as we were checked-in at a nearby hotel, so we were able to relax in our rooms while waiting for our 15-person reservation. The food was worth the wait, however. Four Cheese Pizza, Salpicao, Truffle Shitake Mushroom, Thai Glazed Fish (waited a while for it to come out), and Crispy Fried Squid Tentacles were the entrees for our dinner and they were all 5/5. Our second time was for lunch, and we lounged at the beach while waiting for our slot of 10. This time, we were able to try the famous Oyster Sisig with a refreshing mango shake and calamansi juice as "pampatulak". Again a winner for this hotel. Include this must try restaurant when in Boracay.

Family tradition, any time we stay at Discovery Shores, on Day 1, we sneak over to Two Seasons and order the 4 cheese pizza and the oyster sisig.

We tried the Two seasons restaurant in Boracay and had to try the oyster sisig which, I was told, was only served in Boracay. Their other hotel in Coron did not offer it since they did not have a supplier. It's a must try.

This fine resort is an undisputed 5 stars. The quality of the goods and services here are top notch, world class, but without the world class price tag. The included breakfast menu changes every day to keep things new and fresh. The waiters and staff are the most friendly in Boracay. Other resort waiters are arguably unfriendly at best (based on experience and word of mouth). Finally, the staff seem very well trained when it comes to hospitality/courtesy (they hand you change or whatever they're handing to you with 2 hands. We're talking Confucian level of mannerisms here - arguably not very common in the Philippines. I was extremely impressed). Bonus tip: Be sure to tip the waiters for their constant attention and service. Tip even when they take your photo for you. You will not be disappointed as your generosity will pay dividends throughout your stay. I tipped anywhere between 20 to 100 pesos.

Really nice resort by the water. It's like having your own private beach. It's only a 34-room resort, but pretty spacious rooms with a 50-60 inch wall tv unit. Regular price was about $250 per night, but we had our stay at a promotional discount of P6,588 or about $140 per night. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a couple of complimentary drinks. Most hotels only supply you with shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Two Seasons also supply: -Shave kit -Toothbrush -Toothpaste -Shower cap -Sewing kit -Sanitary bags -Cotton buds / Q tips -Loofah -Body lotion -Slippers -Two bottled water each day Breakfast buffet is also included. Only in the Philippines where you get to eat rice and pancit for breakfast. We only stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer and I think one week would have been sufficient. Very friendly staff. You're treated like royalty. I highly recommend this place when visiting Boracay.

Two Seasons Resort in Boracay Island is located move up above central station 1. For those who have not yet been to Boracay, I would say this is the sweet spot area where you want to be because it is more quiet and less crowded versus station 2 and the sand is better in my opinion and plus there is less boats docked towards this area versus station 2 and station 3. If you however want more lively, energetic, touristy area and where the night life happens (Also where "D'mall" is located) then you will want to consider searching for a hotel around station 2. The room we had was amazing! We did stay in the heaven suite which there is only one of and it is absolutely a treat. It's pretty much one big studio where you have a mini fridge, full dining table surrounded by comfy cozy seating, big king bed, lots of storage, flat screen tv with boss surround sound, incredible restroom with double sinks, huge luxurious shower head, all glass windows in the front facing the ocean, your very own personal infinity pool with a water fountain, and your personal 2 lounge beds for tanning. This room is absolutely stunning and I have a 360 Virtual Reality (VR) video where you can see all the fine details this room has to offer up on my vimeo account so I encourage everyone to check it out (Search for me "Jemdost"). The resort staff is excellent and definitely make you feel like you are on vacation. They are very respectful and they are always energetic and ready to help with anything you need. They can call a 3rd party company for massage in rooms or help you with other request. They communicate well and they are on time with every requested in my experience. The restaurant is just below facing towards the ocean and in front they have their own private sun beds for hotel guest only. Breakfast is the best I had on my entire 5 week trip to the Philippines. My favorite part is the fresh fruit which included some of my favorites such as pineapple, mangoes and watermelon. (It's buffet style so you can get as much as you want but this may leave late breakfast eaters with less choices possibly but we never had a problem since we got up and ate around 7am or so if I recall correctly) Lunch and dinner is also good. The prices are very reasonable compared to everywhere else on the island and the quality of the food is on point as well. Everybody raves about the famous two seasons four cheese pizza but I just couldn't justify trying it since I'm no so big on plain pizza or pizzas in general but all of my other food and drinks were good. Sig-sig also seemed to be very very popular but unfortunately I'm also not a big fan of pork. Anyone who might be more into these two items more then I'am should definitely try it just because it must be good if I saw so many people order repeatedly during my stay here. Overall I had such an amazing time at this resort and will definitely be checking out other Two Seasons locations as well as coming back to stay here whenever I'm in Boracay from now on. I am giving the 3 stars merely because of the service at the restaurant and not because of their food. When we asked for our check we noticed that they added 2 orders of Margarita on our tab. When I questioned how come there were 2 extra Margarita added on our tab that we did not order nor consume, the waiter said that it's still inside and they were gonna serve it to us. I just felt like they were trying to rip us off. Having said that, Two Seasons food was really good. No doubt about that. We tried their Oyster Sisig and Four Cheese Pizza. The Oyster on their Sisig was fried and crispy. Their Four Cheese Pizza had a good amount of cheese and the crust was thin and crispy. Their cocktails were alright. It tasted a little watered down.

The staff was wonderful and so friendly, especially Rolland. We had an amazing time here and did not want to leave. The rooms are so cozy and so comfortable. The food was amazing as well and always left stuffed and satisfied. I would definitely recommend this resort. We were in Palawan before Boracay and it amazes me how different in how friendly the staff was. We did not get the same welcoming greeting in Palawan as we did in Boracay Two Seasons. We will definitely be back at Two Seasons, hopefully sooner than later. Keep it up Two Seasons!! Awesome place!!

the staff were very unaccomodating especially the guy who takes orders and reserves people. upon entering they told me to go reserve to Gerry without knowing who he was and where he was. the same staff gives an unpleasant tone when I asked about my reservation and if I can order while waiting. The food took too long to arrive that you'll lose appetite. This restaurant is simply overhyped.

Oyster sisig is great!

Minus 1 star for no WiFi but over all is great. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, small but chill swimming pool. Spent there for two nights. I would definitely come back to Two Seasons Resorts.

They were the cherry on top with our stay…read more First off, flying to the PI from the US is long and on top of that taking another flight to Caticlan AND then a 15 min drive AND then a speed boat AND then another drive to the hotel!!! It's overwhelming just when you land in Manila. However, once we got to Caticlan the District takes care of everything else. At the arrival of meeting a District staff member at the airport I just felt so relieved knowing we can relax and be worry free. Staff reassured us we were going to be taken care of. All of the staff on the boat and cars were so welcoming and took photos of our landing. When we got to the hotel, we were welcomed with cold eucalyptus towels (which you're gonna want bc of the humidity) & a refreshing cucumber cooler drink ! Check in was an ease and we got to our room without much of a wait. Room is probably the better of the ones in station 2 with AC & tv with all streaming services. We get a cute balcony. They have night time getting ready turn around and fully daily room service. All inclusive breakfast buffet which changes daily and beach access chairs with umbrellas. My BF and I every day would walk the beach, get our seats, & the. swim/relax for the day. No need to claim as there is always plenty. They have a spa and it is fantastic ! We got 3 massages on our 5 day stay and shout out to Grace - hands of an angel! Best massages ever, with a variety to choose. They were well needed after our flight. They have a pool, but we avoided bc the beautiful beach is right outside the hotel. We did however sit by the poolside to escape the sun during peak hours. They have a very small basic gym, which had everything we needed. It was great to get our workouts in cause that's a part of our lifestyle. There's also three other restaurants in the hotel which was delicious. Higher prices compared to restaurants on the station, they deliver to the beach if you're sitting there. Try their Japanese restaurant, very fresh high quality fish. I will say the hospitality in the PI is 10/10 & the hospitality at The District was 100/10. They were on top of everything and always greeting with the smiles. Please make sure to tip them for all their excellent work (including transportation and staff assisting with luggage) !!! Boracay is a tourist destination, & the beautiful staff assist us with over the top service and they deserve so much for what they are actually paid!!! If you can afford to travel to Boracay, you can afford to tip the amazing service. If you're looking for a nice stay, celebrating a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon, etc stay here!!!

They made our transportation experience from landing at the airport, taking a boat to the island, and transport to the hotel very seamless. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming and the overall hotel is clean. We enjoyed their spa and really took advantage of it and went twice during our stay and enjoyed each session. It was definitely a soothing and relaxing massage especially from all the walking and being out in the hot sun. The beach is literally footsteps from the hotel making it super convenient and the hotel is located at station 2 making it a great location that is near Dmall and various other restaurants, stores, and more. If I were to ever return to Boracay, I'd definitely stay here again!

Shangri-La's Boracay Resort and Spa

There are moments in life that once seemed so far away that they almost felt imaginary…read more For my husband and I, staying at the Shangri-La Boracay was one of those moments. We were actually supposed to come the previous year for our anniversary celebration, but life had other plans. We became very ill and had to cancel the trip entirely. After recovering and getting back to our normal lives, my beloved husband decided it was finally time to make our long-awaited anniversary getaway happen. So, we flew all the way from the quiet plains of South Dakota to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And honestly? It was worth every mile. From the moment we landed, the experience felt seamless. Representatives from the hotel, dressed in their elegant red uniforms, greeted us immediately at the airport and handled everything from there. We were escorted into a comfortable shuttle van and brought down to the hotel's exclusive jetty area so we could transfer directly to Shangri-La without the usual chaos and confusion of island transfers. The private jetty ride itself was beautiful. The water was sparkling beneath us, the breeze was warm, and seeing the resort slowly appear in the distance felt surreal after waiting so long for this trip. When we finally arrived, we were welcomed by native performers, music, and smiling staff who somehow made us feel both important and completely relaxed at the same time. Since we booked a suite, we were assigned a personal floor valet service that operated around the clock in shifts. They even gave us a dedicated cell phone that directly connected us to whichever valet was currently on duty. I have stayed at many beautiful hotels over the years, but that level of attentiveness was genuinely impressive. Our suite was absolutely stunning. We overlooked the beach and had both indoor and outdoor dining areas, along with an outdoor hot tub that had already been prepared for us with warm bubbling water and flower petals. After the long journey, we wound up taking a nap almost immediately. When we woke up, we wandered down to the beach and that was the moment everything really sank in. The beachfront at Shangri-La feels like its own secluded world away from the busier parts of Boracay. The white sand was impossibly soft and bright, the water was cool without being cold, and the atmosphere was peaceful in a way that almost felt intoxicating. There was even a beach valet nearby ready to bring drinks while we relaxed near the shore. Mostly, though, I just loved spending uninterrupted time with my honey. No stress. No rushing. No obligations. Just the sound of the water, warm sea air, and the feeling that after years of working hard and pushing through difficult seasons of life, we had finally reached a chapter where we could stop and truly enjoy one another again. That evening we were shuttled to our anniversary dinner at Rima, which deserves its own separate review entirely because it was spectacular. The next morning we enjoyed one of the most beautiful breakfast buffets we've had in years. Fresh tropical fruits, pastries, Filipino and international selections -- everything was beautifully presented and constantly refreshed. We spent several days there simply relaxing, walking the beach, enjoying the suite, and appreciating how fortunate we were to finally make this trip happen. This is not an inexpensive hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Even with the perks my husband receives from frequently staying at Shangri-La properties, our suite still cost well into the four-figure range per night. But unlike some luxury hotels that feel expensive simply for the sake of being expensive, Shangri-La Boracay truly delivered an experience that felt restorative, romantic, and unforgettable. Leaving was honestly depressing. But as my husband and I sat preparing to leave paradise, we were already talking about returning. Hopefully later this year in 2026.

A private shuttle picked us up from the airport and transferred us to a speedboat that whisked us directly to the resort. No stress, no getting lost--just first-class service from start to finish. The resort itself is pure paradise. Think private beaches with crystal-clear water, beautifully maintained grounds, and oceanfront rooms that make every sunrise feel like a luxury screensaver. The views are jaw-droppingly Insta-worthy, and the entire vibe is peaceful, elegant, and indulgent. Let's talk food: amazing. Every meal we had was delicious and beautifully presented. Yes, it's on the pricey side--but here's the thing: if you plan ahead, you can make it work. I used my Amex Platinum points to cover a big portion of the stay and only paid a few hundred dollars out of pocket. Thanks to the card benefits, we scored: * Free daily breakfast (which was incredible) * $100 resort credit * A free room upgrade So yes, it's expensive--but paradise can be affordable if you play it smart. This trip was a dream and 100% worth it.

It's a unique concept, one venue with two separate kitchens and two distinct menus. Since we were dining as a group, we ended up ordering from both, which was great because each menu offered a different theme and variety of dishes. I ordered the Kare-Kare from the Fiesta menu. Interestingly, the steak was cooked and served separately from both the sauce and the vegetables. It's a different approach from the traditional Kare-Kare, but it worked surprisingly well. While the steak itself didn't absorb the rich Kare-Kare flavor, combining it with the sauce brought everything together nicely. For dessert, I had the tiramisu, and it was executed perfectly, absolutely no complaints there. The service was nothing short of exceptional. The hospitality was warm, genuine, and attentive throughout the evening. A special shout-out to Mikko, who took great care of us from start to finish. We enjoyed our stay here. The first couple of days, the place feels like a maze but it doesn't take long before you find your way. The check-in process was great and we weren't bothered at all during our stay. Housekeeping also refreshed the room every day but if you would rather they not, you can request them to skip over you. Upon arriving, they give you a welcome drink and some type of muffin at this small cafe around the corner. Both were delicious. That cafe area is also open most of the day. They have two pools and what seems like an endless supply of common areas to sit, lay, or relax. It was a very nice retreat when you need a break from walking or beach activities. Most hotels in Boracay have their dining area near the beach and/or facing the beach. Current has their dining area on the bottom floor, they have another area on the 2nd floor above it(one night I believe some event or karaoke was happening there), and lastly, above that, they have a third-floor rooftop area. The rooftop area is nice. Each time we went up there, we were by ourselves. They did have some type of bar/table area up there so they may serve food/drinks at some point during the day. I was a big fan of their food. We had their breakfast every day. You can walk in there as far as I know and eat from their breakfast buffet(for a fee) but if you stay, it's included. They also have a dinner buffet but we were usually out eating elsewhere during those hours. It should be noted that it seems like families stay here so there will be kids but it wasn't bad at all. No tantrums. No unnecessary nuisances. The Room: The room was spacious. It was clean. Comfy bed. Sink. Fridge. Tv. Large CR. Table for sitting. Plenty of mirrors. Quiet. The only complaint there is that we were in a room without a window so we never knew what the outside world was like until we woke up and went out. They have rooms tucked away inside the place but there are other floors/areas where you can enjoy a room with a window to the outside. Astoria Current made it so comfy of a stay that we easily could've stayed much longer. The checkout process was also easy. We had an early 7 AM flight. So with waking up early, checking out, plenty of trikes near the back entrance ready to take us to the ferry, taking the ferry across and on to the airport couldn't have been easier. There's an endless supply of hotels and places to stay in Boracay. As much as I'd love to try some of the others on future visits, it's going to be hard to pass Current up.

She assisted me with connecting to Henann Regency for my Kai Spa massage booking, helped add my daughter to my reservation, and handled every concern I had with professionalism and kindness. She truly made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. On the other hand, our experience with Rheann was disappointing. She initially gave my partner a hard time when we requested to add my daughter to our reservation. Later, when my guest came by only to drop off my daughter's luggage, Rheann assumed they were staying with us. Despite my guest and partner clearly explaining that they were simply dropping off the luggage, she repeatedly insisted on asking for their IDs, which seemed unnecessary. To make matters worse, after they dropped off the luggage, she radioed the front security to "make sure that they exit through the front of the hotel." We found this completely uncalled for and quite uncomfortable. Pool and Beach Staff Jay at the pool and Ian at the beachfront were both very friendly and attentive. They always made sure we were comfortable, reassured us about leaving our belongings on the lounge chairs, and ensured we had fresh, dry towels available. Sky Pool Unfortunately, our experience with Blaise was not as pleasant. While he was preparing a purple-colored drink, I simply asked if it was the Ube Colada because I was curious and considering ordering one myself. He replied that it was a drink exclusively for VIP guests. I clarified that I was only asking if it was similar to the Ube Colada, but he repeated that it was "for VIP only." I found the interaction unfriendly and dismissive. And of course, saving the best for last -- Sapphire Restaurant. Roland was our server during our first visit, and seeing him again on this trip was a delight. He is amazing, with a very pleasant personality, always attentive, and constantly smiling. Despite the restaurant being busy with guests coming and going, he remembered me from my first visit, which made our experience even more special. Ms. Han, whom I believe is the restaurant manager or supervisor, was very involved with the guests and ensured that everyone was well taken care of. Lastly, RC was always polite and attentive, making sure our tea and water were constantly refilled and promptly clearing used plates from our table. Thank you for another wonderful experience. Despite a few issues, the exceptional service provided by many of your staff made our stay memorable. We truly appreciate the hospitality and will definitely be coming back for a third visit.

We had an issue with the air conditioning in our room, and while things happen, it's how a place responds that really matters. Crimson Resort completely exceeded our expectations. They immediately took care of us and made sure we felt valued every step of the way. They moved us into a beautiful room, gave us complimentary unlimited Happy Hour at Mosaic from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with an amazing appetizer buffet, and even arranged complimentary transportation to Downtown White Beach and back to the airport. None of that was expected, and it meant so much to us. I especially want to recognize Duty Manager Lyle, along with Nico and Ram. They were kind, attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making things right. You could tell they weren't just doing their jobs. They truly wanted us to leave happy, and they absolutely accomplished that. The resort itself is breathtaking, but it's the people who make this place so special. Their hospitality is something you don't come across every day. If I could give Crimson Resort 1,000 stars, I would. We'll definitely be coming back, and I won't hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone visiting Mactan. Thank you for turning an inconvenience into one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had. We will miss this place!!

I'm beyond happy that I recommended my sister to have her destination wedding at Crimson!…read more After doing tons of research; food and impeccable service at Crimson was frequently mentioned as one of the best by a lot of reviewers, and they weren't wrong at all. Traveled to a lot of places and the service here was one of the most memorable. Transportation through the resort is seamless. Their lounge by the airport before we went on their private boat was clean and had several complimentary snacks for the guests. We absolutely love getting dropped off right at their private beach front dock and greeted by welcoming drummers. Abby, the wedding coordinator or Crimson was the best! My sister said she was patient, efficient in her responses and was so helpful with the whole process which made it so easy planning things from the out of the country. She was so happy that she made sure to bring a gift for her from the US. On the actual wedding day at 3:45am, we had a terrible emergency, the groom unfortunately had to be taken to the ER having extreme stomach pain and vomiting. The Manager on duty on 2/20 went above and beyond and personally went to the couple's room to help. He even called a couple hospitals ahead of time to ensure they were going to be taken care of and took the right information needed from the hospitals to pass on to the wedding couple. He also got transportation ready to go asap. Crimson Even sent breakfast without us asking to, to the hospital while they were waiting for his results and treatment, which was so thoughtful and meant a lot to us. The wedding food selection was also amazing. (The truffle mashed potatoes were to die for) (though some of the small dessert cakes were too sweet) The bride picked the highest buffet tier and her guests said that it was the best wedding buffet selection they have ever seen. The best thing is that they even were able to move the wedding the next day after the emergency and were able to make the wedding happen seamlessly and beautifully, which was amazing and miraculous in itself given the circumstances. We are so happy we picked a place that truly cared so much about our experience. So if you are thinking of where to have your wedding in Boracay, look no further. You will get what you pay for and more. Crimson will do their best to deliver. Hands down 5-stars all around! *Riza also left a wonderful impression during check-in on 2/18 and delivered iconic hospitality. We easily connected and even remembered me throughout my stay anytime we came across each other. * The Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay won the Condé Nast Johansens Award for Excellence for "Best Breakfast" in 2025. We absolutely love the breakfast each day. *Go for an ocean view suite room if you can! You won't be sorry!

They bring you towels and set them up for you, either at the pool or at the beach. They will have the van air conditioned and ready to take you wherever you need. They will take all of your luggage directly to your room or to the boat when you leave the island. The restaurant is good enough with a nice selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathroom is spacious and shower is nice, but the room with the 2 beds felt a little tight at times. Why this is not a 5-star review are for 2 reasons. 1) While we stayed at the resort, they had 2 blackouts per day (from 9am-11am and 3pm-5pm). During this time, nothing worked - no wifi, no air conditioning, no lighting, etc. Some items from the kitchen were unavailable as well. This was a pretty big nuisance during our stay and hopefully they were able to fix this issue. 2) The gym leaves quite a lot to be desired. It's just free weights and one elliptical machine. No benches, no stability balls. I would recommend they upgrade their fitness center so guests can get a workout in.
