This was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in! From arriving to the hotel by boat the hospitality of the crew and workers were top notch. My luggage was handled perfectly & professionally. They were place on the boat and in my room by the time I was finished checking in. The grounds of the resort is beautiful from the exotic plants and trees to monkeys roaming ( very few) to the gorgeous scenic beach front. Every where you looked and walked things were cleaned and organized. The breakfast buffet is rotating every day so you won't get the same dish every day , maybe a variation but not the same dish. The food was filling and delicious great way to start the day. The gym and spa area is really great for solo workouts or pair . They have a lot of machines, weights and sauna, hot tub and steam room. Plenty of showers too. There was also workout classes you can join. The beach was so lovely! Best part is you have private access and a giant pool near too. I recommend ordering the Ube colada and a fresh coconut during your stay. Take advantage of the free shuttle into town to experience the localness.

If you want to experience Boracay at its finest, stay here! From the place, to the hospitality and the kindness of the employees, excellent food, very quiet so we were really to relax and enjoy the beach. From the time you get to the airport or the port they took care of us. The nurse on site was really nice and took care of my husband. They set up an anniversary surprise for us which we really enjoyed. Hopefully, we are able to come back for our 10th year wedding anniversary.

This is my first stay at a Shangri-La, and I was more than impressed. I did not book directly on their site, which in retrospect, I should have, but that didn't make our stay any worse. It was just that I was concerned about transportation between Caticlan and Boracay, but their customer service was top notch the entire time! My brother and his family had stayed here years ago and highly recommended "The Shang". Admittedly, I was a bit worried since it was literally close to nothing, but they provide a free shuttle to Station 2 (first come, first serve), if you want to get out of paradise. When you arrive at the port, The Shang has it's own private lounge and boat to take you to and from Caticlan - it literally felt first class from this moment on, the only thing missing was the fireworks and the red carpet! When you arrive, they have muscians greeting you and they whisk you away to your room in a buggie to check you in. Our room had a Sea View - with a huge balcony, it was very relaxing to listen to the waves in the evening. The resort is huge!!! 2 private beaches, pools, fantastic restaurants, activities all day!!! We missed the bats at dusk, though - I guess we'll need to visit again to see them. The pools and the beaches were uber relaxing, I could just lay there all day - and I totally did. Our package included the breakfast buffet, which was phenomenal - a donut wall, bread section, noodle section, a ton of options!!! We also enjoyed a few of the resorts restaurant, our favorite was Sirena - sunset is a must here. I highly recommend a visit to Shangri-La Boracay!

AMAZING resort. From entry to the beach front, it is gorgeous. The only down fall? Getting there. Lots of traffic to get through before you reach your destination. However, it's worth staying at if you don't mind staying at the resort for most of your stay. It is quite far from the main happenings of the island. They are currently working on paving the roads so this is a majority of why there was traffic. BUT don't let that stop you from staying at this beautiful place. Their customer service is superb. Beautiful architecture. The pool area is so awesome I'd find myself there every day. There's a large pool bar and they have live entertainment. Our favorite parts of the resort are the buffet and the entertainment area which has- mancala, pool tables, computers, a bar, and karaoke rooms. This hotel has it all including a children's day camp area and a spa/ salon! You'll find all that you need here to have a wonderful vacation on a beautiful island. Highly recommend!

I expected nothing but the best and as always Shangri-La delivered. I have known their resort back in Cebu for their impeccable customer service and they did not fall short here in Boracay. I am so happy we picked this place instead of the beach stations. Although i do enjoy people watching sometimes, perhaps my age is catching up on me and I now prefer the peace and quiet this tropical paradise offers. From airport pick-up to arrival, everything was hassle- and stress-free. Staff attends to your needs politely and as promptly as possible. They do not even dilly dally and wait around for tips. You can tell they definitely want to make their customers happy and satisfaction is their goal. The resort is clean, well-maintained and beautiful with its landscaping and overall decor. Like a mix of modern and tropical. The moment you step into their lobby, you can absolutely say "now this is what i call a vacation!". The ambiance becons you in itself. They offer 7 different restaurants to fit your appetite, your mood and your style. Both pools and beaches are gorgeous! I could swim in them all day but i'd be fried from the heat lol I love that this resort is private and have their own beach front too. My review will do no justice from the exceptional experience I always get to have while staying at a Shangri-La resort but the Shangri-La here in Boracay is a whole new level! Definitely one of the best resorts in the Philippines!

Feed the koi fish at the spa. They'll appreciate it even more than you do.

    1. You will feel like a James Bond villain. Met by beautiful girls on the wait staff at a private dock that your boar is moored to. 2. The design of the resort support the Bond theme with many infinity pools, floating stone paths, and clean aesthetics. 3. The breakfast buffet is remarkable. Try it out, they have your cravings covered. Shangri-La - very aptly named. If you don't know - look it up. This one's not in Tibet, but it has a nice chunk of beach on Boracay and it's very well kept.

I am here in Boracay Philippines staying at infamous Shangri-La that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stayed on one famous trip many years ago and it is as they said quite an amazing experience with views today for in-service that's really unbeatable!! We are by the beach and the food was great. The only issue I had which prevented me from giving the complete five stars was the bed was HaRD!!!!??? After spending so much in the grounds you would think they would provide comfortable beds ... well maybe it's good for my back so I'll just let it go but I do enjoy comfortable beds.. other than that it's quite amazing and I hope you all get to come here one day

Stayed here for a wedding and had a great time. Although the Philippines is cheap, this place had prices of an expensive US city and it is not an inclusive resort. Staff was super friendly and the food was better then other resorts ive stayed at, probably because you have to pay for it, except for breakfast which was free and also really good. Breakfast was a buffet that had all sorts of food from American, to Filipino, to Japanese. While the breakfast foods and pastries were all amazing I was most impressed by the juice bar. They had all sorts of freshly squeezed fruit juices and cleansing shots and you could ask for any smoothly or juice combination and it would be brought to your table. Food by the pool was also great, the pizza was surprisingly good, could have used a little a longer in the oven but still good. Pork belly was amazing and pretty cheap and listed as a snack some how but it seems like a full meal. Fries were on point. No complaints.

This is probably one of the best top of the line resorts on Boracay island. Even with a confirmed reservation, we were subjected to pass to two security check points and reservation confirmation for our Valentine dinner at one of their buffet restaurants outlet-Vintana. Once cleared, a hotel shuttle bus took us to the main reception area, where we lounged and drank wine for a while before dinner. The resort is situated on the hilly side of the island over looking the Boracay marina. The hotel buildings are scattered all over the area. One can wander around from one hotel to another, hence, the tight security. I love the classic vibe and some touch of sophistication of this hotel. It's a great place to come over for a special occasion dinner, the Soltana bar is a place to watch the sunset and great precursor to dinner. I will definitely come back to dine or even stay in this resort in the future.

Everyone here is so friendly and polite! They really try their best to make you feel pampered. Just FYI though - mostly everything is really expensive at the resort. The spa is $$$! If you want a nice massage, I recommend going to D-Mall and finding a local spot there (much cheaper!!) The food is just decent (not amazing) so I also recommend exploring other restaurants near D-Mall as aell.

What an incredible experience. We are so glad we stayed here for our honeymoon. You really get what you pay for with the attentive service and amenities. Checked in on a Sunday and they allowed us early check in. Was greeted by a shuttle at the tiny Boracay airport and whisked away to a boat that ferried us to the resort. They allowed us to check in early (at a cost) and our room was stunning - sea view deluxe with ocean views and a warm bubble bath and glass of wine. We were even able to have our laundry done. Food options were diverse and delicious - definitely cater to the Asian palate but there were western choices as well. The best part of dining was the included breakfast buffet that had literally anything you could ever possibly want for breakfast. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to our friends and family.

Nights in white satin, Never reaching the end, Letters I've written, Never meaning to send. Beauty I'd always missed With these eyes before ... ...until I came to Barangay Yapak. It is a truly gorgeous location and if you love open water swimming and talcum fine sand from Parrot Fish blowback then this is where you come. You will sleep as the proverbial log in their super comfy beds. Dining is expensive and, unusually for the Shangri La, quality is average, at best. Transport to the Island is hit and miss but it's a local service, you cannot blame the Hotel for that but I was disappointed that there was no Sisiq to go with my beers at the bar :( In comparison to other Shangri La hotels around the planet Barangay has spectacular scenery but that will depend on your room allocation. Take a look at the resort layout and be specific about what you want. Prior to my first sojourn to this mini paradise I was tipped off by the Blu Bar staff in Singapore about where the best views were and they did me proud. This is a chill venue of the highest order and if you can't cool your jets here then get your wheels off the runway .... #smoothasshit

When you first get off the boat, the greeters say "Welcome to paradise"...and they are absolutely correct. Shangri-la is beautiful! The private white sand beaches are amazing and very relaxing. We initially had trouble with our reservation but management was very helpful and even upgraded our room to an ocean view for our trouble. We were only at the resort for three nights, so unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try any of the daily activities because we had other plans in Boracay. We did however get a chance to try all the restaurants and they were all delicious. Everything I ordered was beyond words and the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had at a resort or any other restaurant. I would definitely suggest you put this on your list of places to visit.

We had an issue with the air conditioning in our room, and while things happen, it's how a place responds that really matters. Crimson Resort completely exceeded our expectations. They immediately took care of us and made sure we felt valued every step of the way. They moved us into a beautiful room, gave us complimentary unlimited Happy Hour at Mosaic from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with an amazing appetizer buffet, and even arranged complimentary transportation to Downtown White Beach and back to the airport. None of that was expected, and it meant so much to us. I especially want to recognize Duty Manager Lyle, along with Nico and Ram. They were kind, attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making things right. You could tell they weren't just doing their jobs. They truly wanted us to leave happy, and they absolutely accomplished that. The resort itself is breathtaking, but it's the people who make this place so special. Their hospitality is something you don't come across every day. If I could give Crimson Resort 1,000 stars, I would. We'll definitely be coming back, and I won't hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone visiting Mactan. Thank you for turning an inconvenience into one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had. We will miss this place!!

Traveled to a lot of places and the service here was one of the most memorable. Transportation through the resort is seamless. Their lounge by the airport before we went on their private boat was clean and had several complimentary snacks for the guests. We absolutely love getting dropped off right at their private beach front dock and greeted by welcoming drummers. Abby, the wedding coordinator or Crimson was the best! My sister said she was patient, efficient in her responses and was so helpful with the whole process which made it so easy planning things from the out of the country. She was so happy that she made sure to bring a gift for her from the US. On the actual wedding day at 3:45am, we had a terrible emergency, the groom unfortunately had to be taken to the ER having extreme stomach pain and vomiting. The Manager on duty on 2/20 went above and beyond and personally went to the couple's room to help. He even called a couple hospitals ahead of time to ensure they were going to be taken care of and took the right information needed from the hospitals to pass on to the wedding couple. He also got transportation ready to go asap. Crimson Even sent breakfast without us asking to, to the hospital while they were waiting for his results and treatment, which was so thoughtful and meant a lot to us. The wedding food selection was also amazing. (The truffle mashed potatoes were to die for) (though some of the small dessert cakes were too sweet) The bride picked the highest buffet tier and her guests said that it was the best wedding buffet selection they have ever seen. The best thing is that they even were able to move the wedding the next day after the emergency and were able to make the wedding happen seamlessly and beautifully, which was amazing and miraculous in itself given the circumstances. We are so happy we picked a place that truly cared so much about our experience. So if you are thinking of where to have your wedding in Boracay, look no further. You will get what you pay for and more. Crimson will do their best to deliver. Hands down 5-stars all around! *Riza also left a wonderful impression during check-in on 2/18 and delivered iconic hospitality. We easily connected and even remembered me throughout my stay anytime we came across each other. * The Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay won the Condé Nast Johansens Award for Excellence for "Best Breakfast" in 2025. We absolutely love the breakfast each day. *Go for an ocean view suite room if you can! You won't be sorry!

It's overwhelming just when you land in Manila. However, once we got to Caticlan the District takes care of everything else. At the arrival of meeting a District staff member at the airport I just felt so relieved knowing we can relax and be worry free. Staff reassured us we were going to be taken care of. All of the staff on the boat and cars were so welcoming and took photos of our landing. When we got to the hotel, we were welcomed with cold eucalyptus towels (which you're gonna want bc of the humidity) & a refreshing cucumber cooler drink ! Check in was an ease and we got to our room without much of a wait. Room is probably the better of the ones in station 2 with AC & tv with all streaming services. We get a cute balcony. They have night time getting ready turn around and fully daily room service. All inclusive breakfast buffet which changes daily and beach access chairs with umbrellas. My BF and I every day would walk the beach, get our seats, & the. swim/relax for the day. No need to claim as there is always plenty. They have a spa and it is fantastic ! We got 3 massages on our 5 day stay and shout out to Grace - hands of an angel! Best massages ever, with a variety to choose. They were well needed after our flight. They have a pool, but we avoided bc the beautiful beach is right outside the hotel. We did however sit by the poolside to escape the sun during peak hours. They have a very small basic gym, which had everything we needed. It was great to get our workouts in cause that's a part of our lifestyle. There's also three other restaurants in the hotel which was delicious. Higher prices compared to restaurants on the station, they deliver to the beach if you're sitting there. Try their Japanese restaurant, very fresh high quality fish. I will say the hospitality in the PI is 10/10 & the hospitality at The District was 100/10. They were on top of everything and always greeting with the smiles. Please make sure to tip them for all their excellent work (including transportation and staff assisting with luggage) !!! That said, i never had anything but wonderful interactions here and truly feel this resort is absolutely excellent, I'm so glad I chose it! This was my first trip to boracay and I looked at a lot of the available resorts on the island, but I felt like the henann group had a really good reputation, and this one in particular (Henann Garden) looked the most beautiful to me with the architecture and the plants in the courtyard. The resort did not disappoint: the staff here are some of the hardest working, kindest, and most polite hotel folks I've met to date. Everyone goes out of their way to greet you and try to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. From the desk staff, to the manager at the garden cafe (Rammy) to the gym supervisor (Pascual), to the masseuses (Mary Jane in particular!) everyone was just phenomenal! Even after a couple days these folks started to recognize me and would ask how I was doing, where my mom was (since she came with me), and the cafe staff (shout out to the morning bartenders!) would prepare my tea with milk as I was arriving before I asked since they knew I'd want it. Pascual in the gym also noted I was uncomfortable lifting the weights without gloves and gave me a pair to use during my stay - so kind and hospitable! The pools here are also pristine (all 6 of them), as are the rooms. The housekeeping staff work really hard to keep the rooms, pool area, and beachfront area nice and clean, and free of sand as much as possible (eg on the beachfront beds). There are rinse/foot wash stations all over the courtyard, and lots of amenities for convenience as well (eg paid lunch and dinner buffets, the pool side bar, massages throughout the day either poolside or in the room, etc.). I could go on and on; truly this resort is superb! They do offer transport services as well, you have to email and ask for it though. Payment is done prior to coming, it's about $36 (USD) per person and I paid through PayPal. The morning breakfast buffet (included with cost of stay) is also a whole other discussion - it's fantastic! So many choices. And on our last day, just before leaving they gave us a little plate that said "thank you for staying" written in frosting with some cake. So personalized, so kind To keep this review from getting too long I'll stop here but highly, highly recommend Henann garden for your next stay! I never had anything but overwhelmingly positive experiences here, it's just a stunning place with lovely beachfront spot!

We were thoroughly impressed with the pricing of the rooms for the off-season even though we didn't end up staying here. We did however love the pizza we ordered here and were impressed with the views. Walking in from the beach, you get some great views of the cave like entrance from below. Keep in mind, that this place does have an adult only seating area if you want to get away from the families with kids and such. They can be a bit distracting when trying to enjoy.

The resorts' rooms all have an open layout with no windows and bamboo doors, but they each still feel private. This is because every room is in a unique spot on the side of a cliff. During my stay here, our group stayed at the top rooms. My only problem/worry is that the climb to the top rooms are difficult because the steps were narrow steps and they switch off the lights at night. Pretty dangerous if you arrive back a bit tipsy! But, the views and breezes make it all worth it. You wake up every morning with the sun shining over a clear water with no people in sight since you are so high up! Rooms come with a fan and mosquito net over the bed. If you can, get a room which includes breakfast (better value). The staff is very friendly but, sometimes they are a little slow when it comes to serving food/drinks (which is, sadly, expected in the Philippines). The beauty and perk of the restaurant/lounge area is that you can go for a swim while you wait! This is also the best place on the island to watch the Boracay sunset. :) On that note, yes, it does get busy during sunsets especially during the peak season. Also, if you are late for breakfast, you may not get a seat. :( The bar can get noisy but it stops at 10PM sharp. This is because this is the side of Station 1 where guests prefer the peace and quiet. So, if you are in Boracay for the parties, this place is not for you. Room Tip: Go for Room B! It is away from the restaurant/lounge area. Some rooms are right above the restaurant/lounge area and can be a bit noisy.
