Pre Wedding Review: I truly believe Jacque is an angel on this earth. HIRE HER. She is professional, kind, creative, and such a joy to work with. COVID completely upended my wedding plans - we had to switch to a tiny backyard ceremony after originally planning a big resort wedding. TWW Events and Jacque are great!! Before I hired this florist, I met with 2 other ones. I knew right away that she was a great fit. She listened to my vision, showed me examples of flowers based on my feedback, and also walked me through what floral would be more expensive than others. All of which was very helpful. TWW Events also has non-floral decor such as candles, which made it easy to get all of that in one place. On the day of our wedding, we were blown away. I called in the middle of COVID to ask for a flower delivery for my mom end of April. I live in San Diego, so I was just yelp'n florists. Jacque picked up the phone and initially gave me a referral for another place since she was more of an event florist. She quickly retracted that statement and was like, "wait, you know what?! There is a store right down the street, I'll just run over there and make an arrangement for you mom and get it over to her today." I mean talk about amazing customer service. She really went above and beyond to make my moms bday super special. My mother said it was the most beautiful bouquet she's ever seen. Jacque's work is so unique and beautiful. I cannot thank this place enough. My daughter had her dream wedding and it was all thanks to Kathy and Jacque. We hired Kathy in July after we fired our previous planner. Karhy had to put it all together for an Oct 3rd wedding. She was so organized. Excel spread sheets with all the vendors, their costs, how much we paid, what we owed and when it was due. Wedding day I did nothing she handled it all. Time lines for hair and make up, wedding day timelines, who gets a tip and how much, everything done!! As promised, here is my post wedding update. FABULOUS!!! First off, the flowers! Oh my word, they were soo gorgeous!!! WOW. Every guest commented on them, and I couldnt stop staring at them. EnDearing Floral Design rocked it out of the park for me, and THEN SOME! My flowers were essentially cymbidium orchids and sahara roses. There were others of course, but those were the rock star flowers. Ok, thee Wedding Fairy.. this is where Kathy comes in. Everything she did, she did behind the scenes. She is a rock star. So calm, and reassuring that everything was just perfect.. and it was! Without going into every single detail of my wedding, Ill end this by summerizing a few comments from my pops. When I first told him I had hired a wedding coordinator, his initial question was "why, you have done almost all of the planning yourself"? My response, " we want to make sure that I am not working the day of my wedding, and I dont want to forget anything... etc" the morning after the wedding, my dad says "I see why you hired Kathy, she was well worth whatever you paid her, it was effortless and gorgeous" my response, "yes dad, it certainly was" Everything single detail was taken care of for us. My daughter and I had a GREAT experience with this hard working group. I am a wedding event/florist from Michigan, so I am VERY picky, and was completely at ease when I met Jacque, and shared my vision for my daughter's wedding. The bouquets were outstanding, the centerpieces perfect, and my guests are still talking about the beautiful scroll of rose petals down the aisle at the outdoor ceremony. Jaque really pays attention to detail, and is very artistic in her approach to all aspects of the wedding. This is a pre-wedding review. My wedding is happening November 7, 2015. First of all I want to say that Jacque is nothing but professional, wonderful, and helpful. She instantly gave me a sense of being a real, genuine person. In this whole wedding planning experience, I have come across a lot of people who are rude, bad with communication, or who give you a sense that all you are to them is a dollar sign. This is not the case with Jacque. She listens and understands your vision and your budget. I don't have a huge budget for flowers, so she gave me great, creative ideas to work with it. She offered me food and water, and I felt like I had known her for years in our initial meeting. She offered to help organizing and transporting my dessert table, too, which I feel is above and beyond what I expected. She also has great advice about the reception layout. Not impressed at all. I hired Thee Wedding and Event Warehouse approximately a year before my wedding, at first everything seemed good. But once we got down to more of the details I found them to be difficult. EnDearing Floral Design: eh... the florist is awful, she has a vision for your wedding (not the same as the one you might have) and it's awfully expensive. When at an appointment she came across as very unprofessional, scatter brained, and overbearing. After several appointments I was able to get it down to a reasonable price for what I wanted. They seemed to have trouble getting my colors to match, purple and green are relatively simple colors. But the day of there were lots of pinkish flowers around. Even in the end the flowers were pretty, but not extraordinary like everyone said they would be. The day of I was very disappointed with the Wedding Fairy, if there was something that needed to be done or a question that came up she was nowhere to be found! Very frustrating to be directing people on the day of the wedding when I paid someone to do that for me. Overall not the greatest experience in a wedding planner, if I had to do it over I would not pick them again! read more

My daughter was married to her high school sweetheart on March 5, 2016 at The Verrado Golf Resort and the entire event could not have been more perfect! As a family we were thrilled with the event but our guests cannot stop talking about what a beautiful and fun wedding it was! From the service, to the cocktail hour, dinner and late night snacks the evening did not disappoint! Kathy Baggett (aka, Thee Wedding Fairy) is a total pro. We had no difficulties. She did it all. My daughter only had to make decisions and Kathy was on the rest. She even followed up with the bridal shop when there was a problem with my daughter's dress. She only works with the best vendors. Our DJ was great, the photo booth was a blast, the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD, the characaturist was a great surprise for everyone and the staff was wonderful. Kathy handled every detail and I literally showed up with a dress, the rest of the day was in her hands. She was on site from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm and was behind the scenes for it all. She went with our little changes at the last minute without blinking an eye. Jacque Dearing is a genius with décor and flowers. Our entire event was outside and she was able to make the setting intimate and beautiful. The cocktail hour, dinner and dancing were outside under the stars. It looked like a fairy tale! She is creative and imaginative and was able to transform an ordinary patch of grass into an enchanted forest! The staff at Thee Wedding and EventWarhouse are the absolute best at what they do. I have been to a jillion weddings, but none as wonderful as my daughter's. The fee was a pittance compared to what they provided. So, what are you waiting for? We actually used them for my mom's surprise party. My dad wanted to buy centerpieces and the event coordinator at Pebblecreek suggested Thee Wedding and Event Warehouse. Jacque helped my dad pick beautiful floral arrangements for the centerpieces that fit perfectly with the theme and decor. She even added a splash of color at the end which was unexpected but so appreciated and was the icing on the cake! They really exceeding our expectations. read more

I hired Kathy to provide full planning services (not just the day of) after walking into her store on a whim! I quickly realized that the cost of the planning services paid for itself because of the relationships she's built. Kathy introduced me to nearly all of my vendors, arranged all contracts and took care of all follow ups. She was very resourceful and responsive in answering my wedding related questions. She always made me feel like I was her only customer. I never had to worry about a thing because I always knew I had someone in the background running the show. Building up to the wedding, Kathy and Kari definitely earned their keep! When we were concerned our venue was going to close she went into damage control, made all the calls and presented me with options. When I found out I was getting laid off work two months before my wedding and needed to revisit all details to save cost, she did everything she could to help. I didn't have to worry or do anything on my wedding day, except get ready and have a good time. I had the most amazing, beautiful and stress free wedding day and that would not have happened without these women! On the day of, Kari and Kathy stayed on the job from 11am - midnight! Kathy even drove me and my husband to the hotel that night after learning our town car was going to be very late (she also ensured we got our refund)! Jacque is an artist. She created the most beautiful floral design for my wedding. The centerpieces were breathtaking, my bouquet was stunning. She is amazing at what she does. I recommend letting her have complete creative control for your wedding. You will love what she comes up with! She was also very respectful of my decision to tailor back quite heavily on the amount of floral I was able to do (to save cost). She never made me feel like a nuisance for changing my mind (on more than one occasion). Jacque is AWESOME! Okay so let me first say that I am a worry wart, and so naturally since I could not physically see the flower arrangements that Jacque had for me in her head(everything she does is custom), I worried. Now let me tell you how silly I feel for doing that, from the bouquets, to the arch, the aisle, the centerpieces OMG, she knocked my socks off so to speak. My bouquets had over 50, that's right no typo FIFTY 50 of the most beautiful roses I have ever seen. She had 5 bags of petals for the aisle, put over 30 bunches of roses into the arch and that's not even the best part, let me tell you about the centerpieces. I had told Jacque that we (my mom&I) were looking for a WOW factor, let me just say she did not disappoint. When I walked into the room at Gainey Ranch, my jaw literally dropped, she went so over and above what I could have ever dreamed possible. One of my relatives from out of town is a retired florist and commented that she had never seen a more beautiful, well put together display of flowers ever. The way the textures and colors blended together was spectacular. It was like walking into a fairytale, I cannot say enough about the flowers, I literally got compliments for every single guest there. At the end of the night people got to take the centerpieces home, when I was told how beautiful they were and asked if they would like to take them home they acted like the had just won the lottery. Let me also say that I visited two other florists before I went to Jacque and was really disappointed when they tried to fit me with a pre-made package deal, they even had me look at a book so that they would give me an exact duplicate of was previously created for some other bride and were all about getting me in and out of there for the next bride. What I noticed when I went to Jacque is that she was really excited about my wedding, there was no here look at a book and I'll recreate something, Jacque does all her flowers custom, that's why you'll notice that all the pictures on the website are vastly different then you will see elsewhere. If you want to settle for something nice, go elsewhere; but if you are looking for something absolutely spectacular that will give you that wow factor and have your guests raving about how beautiful it was for months, then go to Jacque at thee wedding & event warehouse. I originally contacted Thee Wedding and Event Warehouse via e-mail on July 10th, 2012. I got a timely response from Jacque to set up a time to meet. During my meeting with Jacque I felt as if she was very experienced and professional. She did have a lot of great and unique ideas. I let her quote me all of them as I didn't have a specific budget at the time and didn't really know what to expect in regards to pricing for flowers and linens. Before leaving, I told Jacque that when I got home I would review her quote and be making a number of cuts as my original quote was about $2,300 (not including centerpieces) and quite a bit more than I wanted to spend. I removed some items and got my total to about $1,200. This was when things went downhill. Perhaps, it wasn't enough money to warrant her time because it took Jacque 5 days and 1 follow up e-mail to respond to my request for a new quote. She then refused to give me the quote without speaking with me on the phone first. On July 27th, 2012 I called Jacque and explained what I wanted removed and re-quoted. Jacque gave me a verbal quote but again I requested one in writing. By August 27th, a FULL MONTH LATER, I still had not received an amended quote. Again I requested one on August 27th, 2012. It took 4 more days to receive an amended quote. I received the amended quote on August 30th, 2012. The quote was just typed into the e-mail (not in a Word document or Excel file as I would have expected). One of the items I had originally requested to be removed (set up and delivery as I wanted to pick them up to save money) was still included in the quote. I asked Jacque to remove and re-price the quote so I could pay her the deposit. Four days later I still had not received a response. I emailed Jacuqe again on Septmber 2nd, requesting a quote without setup and delivery cost. I even told her I wanted to pay her the deposit as soon as I received the quote. That was a week ago (today is Sept 9th) and I still haven't heard from Jacque. Obviously I have booked a different florist (Rita's Floral Design, she is awesome and very prompt!). I sent Jacque an e-mail today letting her know how disappointed I am and that I went with another florist. I'm not expecting a response. If you choose to go with Thee Wedding and Event Warehouse good luck! I hope my experience was the exception, not the rule. Thee Wedding & Event Warehouse pride themselves by claiming they have a team with combined experience, after our wedding it's apparent they only take pride in taking the consumer's money and not taking any responsibilities for mistakes made by their company that might of created an unhappy experience. It was made clear that the bride was a detailed person so in their experience they should have known that the setup needed to be exact. It doesn't matter how beautiful they thought the setup was ... if it was not what the bride requested, it was wrong and they did not deliver what was requested or promised by them. Our wedding was coordinated by the receptionist and we are all for training and promoting young workers however she was never introduced as a wedding coordinator or someone in training to be one. We only knew the receptionist as the person who answered the phones and took orders from Kathy. We assumed she would help with setup, but not serve as wedding coordinator and florist. My complaint isn't so much that they passed our wedding on to her, it's she didn't know what was going on. It was her stress levels that caused others to stress out because no one knew what was going on. The bride wasn't apart any issues but the Matron of Honor was and for her to come to the bride stressed out and running around was just wrong. We were promised a stress free event, we were promised all the mishaps we wouldn't know about because "they" handle all those issues so the couple can celebrate with no worries. We paid for this service but got none of the sort. Experience would tell them to take care of these kinds of details ahead of time. Details like making a simple photocopy for a deaf guest that they said would be handle. Didn't happen, coordinator had to run around looking for a photocopier. Details like giving the DJ proper instructions. DJ was running around the bride asking her what to do, why didn't he ask the "coordinator?" Then Thee Wedding & Event Warehouse had the audacity to say the bride demanded him to stay an hour longer, his schedule had the wrong times, why was it the bride's fault? Details like spelling the client's last name right, getting the times right on a schedules that vendors had in hand. Time after time those mistakes happened and were passed off with excuses like "oh it was spelled right over here but not here" it should be RIGHT all through the documents if you were paying attention to details. Details like knowing that food which was paid for should have been made available to guests to have second servings. We over paid the food and apparently guest felt like they were served at a buffet style meal small portions. Then right after the last person ate, they food staff packed up and left. We were told they would provide to go containers and that never happened. Details like filling champagne glasses for the toast. One round for the wedding party was served but we paid for 30 bottles to be served and got one glass to drink. The food staff was out of there like they were in a rush to get somewhere else. Details like letting the couple know about alcohol restrictions. Why this wasn't disclosed until the night of the wedding, we have no clue? The couple did not feel comfortable giving negative feedback during the wedding however the ladies at Thee Wedding & Event Warehouse thought the bride should of spoke up during the event, which is distasteful. Therefore it's the bride's fault and her dissatisfaction was not real according to this company. The list goes on but is there ever a wedding that occurs without a hitch? Of course not, but when the client is blamed of all the mishaps that's bad business practice and very unprofessional. Thee Wedding & Event Warehouse could of made this right by the client by saying sorry for not being as organized as they claim to be and for ruining our experience by their lack of details. Their combined years of experience were not evident. These comments are not intended to be hateful. This is an unpleasant customer service experience that we are sharing with other consumers so they can make a wise decision and are not fooled by the reviews that seem so wonderful. Wow. Thee wedding and event warehouse made my wedding day PERFECT. The whole day was without stress because I knew that I could trust the Wedding Warehouse crew to make everything turn out great. All of my vendors were found through the warehouse and my wedding coordinator (Kathy) did all the necessary communication with the vendors, it made my life so much easier! Kathy and Karie made my wedding dreams come true. I had a fairly large wedding (234 guests) and they were there every step of the way making sure every aspect was perfect. It was so encouraging to have someone who was always on my side during the wedding planning process. If I ever had a question or concern, Kathy or Karie would address it. The list goes on and on of the ways they made the planning process go smoothly. My husband, mother, and I spent a good hour with Kathy a couple weeks before the wedding outlining a day-of timeline. Because of them, I can actually say that I did not feel one bit stressed on my wedding day. Kathy or Karie were always there to help get anything that I, or anyone in the bridal party, needed. During our bridal party pictures, some of the groomsmen were feeling tired and mentioned wanting Five Hour Energy. My groom was also having trouble with allergies. Karie came back not ten minutes later with Five Hour Energy from the gift shop and some Zyrtec from her own purse. Before my first dance, I noticed tulle was dragging from my dress. In a minute, Karie came back with safety pins to fix it so I didn't trip. If this doesn't show how much this team truly cared, then I don't know what does. It is obvious that wedding planning and day of coordination is their passion and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did. Everything was perfect, and I can say that if you are considering hiring a wedding planning team, go with Thee Wedding and Event Warehouse. You will not be disappointed!
