Completely shocking experience! As soon as I paid his fee via Venmo, this man Completely flipped out, refused to do the service and wanted to kick me out of the office! Why? Because Venmo charged him a business fee!! (Which was approx $15 for a $600 transfer) This was just soo wild! The craziest thing I've ever experienced! I simply could not believe it!. The police had to be called, he is so aggressive and I had a panic attack. It took nearly 20 days to get my money back. I don't know how this crooked, violent man is in business. It had been a couple of years since I had been here but after a bad experience with another person my sibling suggested, I came back and I do not regret it. My partner and I were looking for a good experience and I great experience is what we received. We purchased a home last year and I had another home I normally file with, anywho we wanted to make sure we were getting the best possible outcome. We came here and we were able to compare scenarios. Don't come to this office. It's terrible! I went to this tax office by my coworker recommended me. First I talk with the girl at front. She deal file tax $200. Then I talked with her boss about same one. He told it's $260. He need me pay first by nothing process. No document. No file yet. Then he gave me a form. I'm not sure with that form so I call my friend to make sure and talk with him to make understand. He felt annoyed me. He told me to filled form outside his office. So rude! He spoke his language. It's Vietnamese language. I understand a little. He file my tax too high. I email them to cancel my tax and ask for refund. They denied me. Alright it's your choice. I give you a very bad reviews on Yelp and Google. I know you don't care. I want to tell everybody please don't come here. It's very very bad and bad tax office in San Diego.!!!!! I've been going to this place for the past 2 years (at this specific location) and I've been going to Mr. Phuong Nguyen for my tax services because he is very knowledgeable and lets me ask as many questions as possible. I am currently looking to operate a small online business so he's been giving me great advice and I really truly recommend business owners and individuals to come here and get serviced by him. The gentlemen in the front was very helpful, he went by the name of Hieu and during my wait to get assisted by the one and only Phuong, Hieu was able to help expedite the process by updating my customer demographics on their computer , answering questions, organizing my tax paperwork and also guiding me through the process! Please don't use this business for ur taxes!! -The owner Phuong Nguyen was very unprofessional with my husband n I; He turned us down bec I am using an itin number to file my taxes n blamed me right off the bat that I am using someone else's identity on my w2. Which is not true!! -He threw down our documents on his desk towards to us n said he was not going to help us out, right after I had to explain what an itin number is for tax purposes. He didn't seem to know about it but He has a heavy accent which makes me question, how can he not know about itin number tax filers?? If he has credentials??? -Other observations, his business place was very dusty, old looking desks n even though is tax season, he only had two helpers at the front. Why is all that?? Well, bec he is very likely a very greedy person! In fact, his assistant mentioned to us they only accept cash; we asked why? And she said "it had to do with his bank n his business." ...through the news on t.v We all know that couple of investors banks have gone bankruptcy...so yeah in 2023 he accepts ONLY CASH. ...to us we think is again related to GREEDINESS!! - He is too concerned about his business that he avoids filing taxes with itin numbers, he doesn't pay a cleaning service for their office and he avoid fees related to payments with credit card or debit. I been going there for my personal taxes and my business taxes for years, let me till you about Paul he is unprofessional I call him and leave him a message never answer back all though I was paying him for every service but never received the right answer just last month I went there to do my income taxes but I didn't had my insurance for 2020 so I paid him and called to get my 1095g when I was waiting for my 1095 I show my taxes that he did to my friend who CPA he got me 5000 dollars more, Because paul was just charging money but didn't want to but any effort to make all the right off . Andrew luu left his business to his incompetent best friend that has poor customer service. The mannerisms of the individuals that work here is far beyond crappy. They show very poor professionalism. The two younger guys were play boxing after discussing their lunch trip to Costco and the older man with glasses tried to rush the tax service he was providing me to go pick up his children from school. This man clearly showed his lack of knowledge with tax preparation by asking consistently for help delayed time and did not have confidence in what he is doing. Why trust these people with your money when they clearly lack the knowledge, the customer service, professionalism and work ethics. Last year when I went back to this place someone had taken over and this year 2016 Paul N.has been behind the desk! Paul explained to me that he bought this business from Andrew and that due to another business he was running, he had hired someone else to be in the office until this year when he could be in the office! He mentioned to me that last year the person that was in charge made all sort of mistakes on people's taxes so he had to let him go!
