I said yes, since it's easier. Then the judgment started. "Who are you thinking about?" He went on to make assumptions about what we feed her aside from her dog food - such as pizza crusts. We said a weekly egg, fruits and vegetables. We really should have just left but still asked for a recommendation. He recommended a duck based dry food and said there's other options of the brand such as beef, chicken, and salmon. I requested the salmon variation and he responded that "dogs are carnivores and need to eat meat" - as if fish isn't meat? My husband said we give her chicken, with the last time being the night before. To which he responded, "What kind of chicken?". Then proceeded to tell us that dogs can be sensitive to chicken. The entire time, it just felt like we were being tested and had to justify not being bad owners. Nothing we do is right. As if we didn't rescue our dog and are trying our best? Would these kinds of places rather we had not adopted her at all? Honestly, as an average pet owner, I would not come back.

I took my dog here for ~2 years, and each time, the cuts were very good. Unfortunately, on 1 visit last August, my dog returned home and had razor burns and cuts all over his underbody. While we were informed of the cut they did to his penile area, as you can see from the photos, it was all over his body. Clearly no care was given to the dog and the place just kept on cutting. This was very upsetting. When I asked the team for a refund or an apology, none was provided. I took the dog to the Vet where he received antibiotics so that the cuts did not spread for an infection. A simple apology and maybe some form of discount would have been nice, especially since we had been going there for years, but none was offered. Very upsetting way to do business and I would just be careful if you send a dog here.
