They gave me an appointment the same day. The staff and Dr were all super friendly . Dr. ended up removing a tiny tick ,the size of a pinhead. He gave him a prescription for the itching and a shampoo. Hopefully ,this will help as he said it may take a few days to work. When it came time for the dreaded bill, lol I was pleasantly surprised. The price was much cheaper than other vets I have used in the past. I will definitely go back here again and I recommend giving them a try.

He suddenly ruptured a mass on his spleen and was told twice by two separate hospitals that he more than likely had cancer and would pass away shortly even with surgery if it was cancerous. We were heartbroken thinking we were spending our last moments with our baby. Dr Miccio has been his primary vet for some time now and spoke life back into the situation, my dog and my family. She gave us realistic hope again. She explained the risks and the realities if it was cancer once the spleen was removed and biopsied. Long story short, HE IS CANCER FREE. Dr Miccio is godsend and truly is a healthcare professional because she cares about the health of her patients. I am forever grateful to Dr Miccio and the whole staff that helped my baby recover and be given a chance at more life when others were ready to bury him. We're sitting in an examination room for an hour and they're just having a good old time like they're at a party while my poor cat is suffering!! So we waited and waited! At 5:30 pm still no vet came to our room but I could hear that other rooms that came after us had been visited by the vet. My cat is white but I'm black and I'd hate to think it was racial but an older white woman came in with her cat 40 minutes after us and her cat was seen before ours. When we were leaving, there were the same chatty unprofessional women now laughing and joking at the front desk. They should be ashamed!

We adopted our puppy from here at 11 weeks. She had been brought up from a kill shelter down south…read morewith her brother and had been with them for about 2 weeks prior to adoption. They did a wonderful job with socializing her and starting her off on training. The facility itself is beautiful. It's very clean and well staffed. We were able to spend time with different puppies out in the main area, which gave us the chance to see how they did with other dogs, people, etc. We probably spent two hours there and never felt rushed into making a decision. It's been a few months and we are literally obsessed with our KitKat- she is everything our family needed. KitKat adores and loves us (I didn't think this was possible with cats) and we love her to pieces. She loves being in our company, always hanging around and being in the mix. My dog Pretzel (gsd mix) and I love visiting this location…read more The staff is amazing and treat you like family. Pretzel is always remembered and greeted by name when we walk in at each visit. He loves all the attention lol. The groomers are FANTASTIC!!!! Diana and Jules are incredible, patient, and gentle. They put up with Pretzels very dramatic loud whines, moans and groans. He hates getting his nails cut. For reference, when our vet cut his nails, it took two assistants to hold him still. a muzzle (which pretzel has no aggression but i guess it's standard for our practice but he also whines like a husky lol) and lots of peanut butter for a minimal trim. Both Diana and Jules have provided the best trims and files in 15mins without ever nipping the kwick, no muzzle, no peanut butter, one human job. They are the best. We've been monthly regulars for about 1.5 years now. Owner Karin is kind, passionate about animals and knowledgeable! When Pretzel had a medical accident this past November she was able to give us all the information we needed on orthopedic dog beds that kept him comfortable through his recovery and even since making a full recovery he still lays on it daily! I also love that they raise money and can food collections for a local shelters and rescues as Pretzel came to me via Trina K9 in Westchester County. A community staple for rockland.
