Since south end cell phone reception is sketchy at best and the area is heavily wooded. But to my surprise Tyee Farms is a small, friendly oasis with delicious sandwiches. Actually more like paninis. I had the Rubin which a lot of places never get right. It was perfect. Perfectly grilled, crisp on the outside but warm, soft and melted on the inside. It was piled high with meat, no skimping there. The sauce did not overpower the flavors, but only complimented the flavors. I can't stop thinking about that sandwich. I want to go back. Also check out the selection of craft bottles sodas. Good enough to make a girl from the north end drive back to the south end.

I typically find special releases from PNW breweries, selections from very local brewers I can't find easily in Seattle, ciders, and the popular non-alcoholic options. Second- they smoke their own meats for the late week/weekend crowd. There hasn't been a single visit where I haven't picked up a pound of brisket, and they also offer other cuts and meats like chicken. The counter for this is set up on the side with the cafe. There's also a very popular Thai takeout restaurant in the store as well. This place is a great opportunity to shop where the locals shop and enjoy some of their unique offerings.

It creates a toxic and discouraging work environment where people don't feel valued. No one should be treated this way, especially when they are new and still learning. The way the manager handles situations shows a complete lack of professionalism and compassion. Grocery Outlet needs to take a serious look at how their managers treat their teams, because good employees are being driven away.
