The restaurant was an unexpected surprise!…read more Very clean inside, was seated quickly, especially since you can seat yourself. The service was fast and friendly. We shared a dish. The soft tacos with beef, were seasoned well, the beans had great flavor, not too aftertaste which I enjoyed and the rice was soft and moist. The chips and salsa they bring to the table was also delicious l! Definitely keeping on the list of places to stop for a quick lunch if we are in this area again. As always stay safe and healthy out there and see you all at my next bit!

It's not quite a 4 star place but it tries to be.... Their lunch prices and choices are unheard of! So I ordered the pork chimichanga. Many other options and price points but try to find such a big lunch with decent to good quality for $10? There were a few older single fellows that came in too for a beer and a lunch combo around us too. My wife ordered the shrimp fajitas and liked them though done a little differently. Generous portions of beans and rice and the give you bean dip with the salsa and chips immediately upon seating. We dined in the mostly empty fining room. Service was pretty good although the staff tends to hang in the kitchen and chat. My wife really did enjoy her blackberry Marguerita that I suggested to her from other reviews. I was never too excited about trying this local place in an old strip mall but glad we did. I'd eat here again and try the menu out. This was a very good value for Whidbey island or anywhere for a pretty good food and drink experience.

The slices were only $6 and we added extra garlic. Wowzer... literally amazing. We need this in Seattle lol. Service: A quick service and nice customer service Ambiance: we sat outside on the "patio" area. Amazing views and perfect location. 100/10 recommend.

This restaurant has probably one of the best spots in town with amazing beach view, and the staff is very charming and friendly. But all of these cannot change the fact that the food quality of this restaurant was quite average. Pizza was meh, tomato wasn't tomatoing, the crust was fine though. The pasta was so far the top two worst and saddest one I had (the other one was from Cheesecake Factory). It was literally just pasta sauce dumped over the spaghetti, the flavor was so bland so I have to sprinkle whatever seasoning I could find on the table. I wouldn't even serve myself a plate of pasta like that at home. I'd throw the pasta in the pan and at least cook with the sauce for a few minutes so the sauce and pasta can mix and mingle better. This pasta was giving newly single 43-year-old white European American man cooking his kid's birthday dinner for the first time since the divorce. This pasta should not be served on the place with such nice view. Unless people come here only for the view, not the food. The appetizer rosemary bread and olive oil dip was the highlight of the whole meal.

Perfect dishes for the day, warm and so yummy. We had a Tan Tan shrimp and a Tonkatsu, with no additions although it was tempting to amend! The ramen broth is very rich and each was different. You have the option to add sesame oil, chili oil, a delicious soy sauce, 3 kinds of pepper in shakers and a fresh grind of sesame seeds. The egg is cooked to perfection - whites solid and the yolk mostly cooked with the center soft and creamy. A small dish of edamame is served as an appetizer. The staff are friendly and the food was served by the chef with a smile. We enjoyed watching the dishes being created. You might have a wait on a busy day but it is definitely worth it.

Nestled behind the main walking areas, you can follow the street signs to this restaurant. We arrived just before they opened for the evening from 4:30pm. It is not a large restaurant but we were early. Bright and cheerful interior with shelves of Japanese sweets and some souvenirs on the side. Our favorite and go-to is the tonkotsu which has the thicker pork bone broth. We have not visited for a year or so and the price has gone up while the volume seemed to have gone down. Nevertheless the taste was great and we were satisfied with the meal.
