Our company Central City Concern throws a company party every year and this year we decided to hire a face painter since our theme was families and we knew lots of children would be there. We reached out to a lot of face painters and was devastated when nobody was available for our date. Then I found Kim with U B Painted. At first she couldn't find anyone who was available for the date we need. But after searching and searching she contacted me and told me she found a painter. I was beyond excited. The day of the event the face painter name Andrea showed up. She was extremely nice. The whole time of our event (11am-2pm) she had a line at her table. First of all, I was lucky enough to book a last minute appointment with Kim to paint an animal face on me and complete my costume for the Burning Man HOWL PDX party that same evening. Kim took me in as her last appointment at 8pm. After 12 long hours of painting bodies and faces all day, she was still upbeat, personable, and passionate and delivered a stellar, one-of-kind, abstract rendition of a cat's face that blew my wife's and my mind. Kim completed her masterpiece in one hour's time with creativity and detail no words can describe. Then she went on to paint a beautiful embellishment on my wife's face to accent her costume. Quite simply, Kim is fantastic. I'm a entertainer myself and know what it takes to keep a event amazed and talking. That's why I didn't think twisce about booking Kim. Her professionalism, patience, and high quality standards set her apart in an market full of poor imitations. One thing however that I'm not sure I can really convey through words and pictures is her incredible warm personality. Even in the midst of a chaotic event (which I fear we put on) Kim never failed to be professional and incredibly kind. She knew exactly how to keep the designs stunning and fast to keep all of our guests happy. Hit of the PARTY!!! Princess's and Pirates 3rd Birthday bash: My husband and I met Kim at the Happy Valley 4th of July party in the park, our then almost 3 yr old Natalie have a snowflake painted on her cheek. She LOVED the experience and we wanted to surprise her for her 3rd Bday party so I called Kim. It was an awesome experience from the first call, the the photo's she sent after the party. We ALL had a blast kids and adults a like. The face painting and surprise visit from Elsa (Whom Kim arranged) was the HIT of the party. The kids loved her, she was dressed as a princess too, and even the boys loved getting dragons and pirate headbands painted on. Kim is fantastic! The attention to detail her and her teammate took with each of our guests was amazing. A corporate party with a hard to predict face paint participant count is difficult to manage, but Kim managed it perfectly. We never had a long wait, all the kids (and adults) that wanted painted or tattooed got a turn with very detailed work. One of our executives had used Kim before (I did not know this until after I had booked the event) and were extremely excited for her children. Hired U B Painted for a company picnic and they were terrific, a huge hit not only with the kids but adults as well. Full grown bearded men walking around with a tiger face. It was great fun for everyone. I received an abundance of complements on the artist, not only for their talent but also the friendless and ability to make people smile. Shy kids were jumping up in the chair to get there faces painted. We had over 150 people at our event and there was constantly a warm body in the chair and the artist managed to whip out amazing work in a very short time. No one was having to wait or get tired of being in line. I will certainly be reaching out to Kim for our next year's event. read more

Kim is a true artist, and her work is absolutely fabulous! She was a hit at my daughter's birthday, and really made the day very special. She came early to set up, stayed late to finish everyone, and was so much fun! She is great with kids, and really took time with each person adult and children to create something truly unique and memorable. I can not express how talented she is, and pleasant to work with. She provided all her own equipment, and was very accommodating in working in the area we had available. She fit our party in at short notice, and was extremely reasonable cost wise. Kim was amazing! She was very help and punctual. Called me back within the hour of me leaving a voicemail asking for prices. We had a company picnic and I was unsure of what entertainment to get for the kids. Boy am glad I went with U B Painted! She does amazing free hand work! Anything the kids wanted painted on their face, she was able to do. She also brought a glitter temp tattoo artist as well as a balloon artist. Everything was such a hit and employee's have told me that their kids haven't stopped talking about it all and are asking for another party. We hired Kim to do face painting at my daughter's 8th birthday party. Kim was early, pleasant to work with and well organized. The most impressive thing was her artistic ability. Obviously, I would expect a professional face painter to have artistic ability but Kim exceeded my expectations. Her large and detailed face paintings were done so quickly, were absolutely beautiful and each one so unique. We did a huge birthday party for my son's fifth birthday and wanted some extra entertainment for all the kids. We decided to go with face painting. Kim from U B Painted was a hit! Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with! For Halloween I decided to be El Diablo from the Suicide Squad to accessorize my wife's Harley Quinn outfit ;) and I wound up stealing the show! I was concerned at first with the durability of the makeup because the event that I was going to was at night and due to scheduling issues I had to have my makeup done in the morning, but my makeup lasted all night long without wearing off or fading! The face painter came dressed as Elsa from Frozen and she even suprised us with a visit ftom her sister Anna on the second day! Elsa played the part well and was very good with the kids. Kim also helped me coordinate with a balloon and airbrush tattoo artist. Each one of the entertainment crew was experienced and done by high quality professionals. We were so lucky to have UB Painted ( Kim) at our grandson's birthday party . He was SO excited to be a ninja turtle . Kim was absolutely incredible working with him and 20 other children ! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My sister and I got our faces painted at the Wednesday market and Kimmy was so nice and warm. She is friendly and willing to chat with anyone, sharing stories and connecting with everyone in her chair. I am 18 and kind of felt awkward for wanting my face painted at first but she was super sweet and the painting was awesome!!
