If you are squeamish about tattoos, henna would be a good alternative. I got the pleasure of knowing Wendy and her dau at an event. She is a passionate henna artist. Her designs are intricate and beautiful. We got to choose our design from a huge selection. They were all very lovely. Henna application is a time consuming process, she made it fun with her stories of Henna history, she is quite the artist when it comes to story telling as well. My husband and I cannot say enough about how wonderful these guys are!!! We hired Wendy for our Sangeet (pre wedding event for Indian weddings), and she was the star of the show. Almost all of our 150+ guests were going to her to get henna done. It added an amazing touch to our event, and she was quick yet so efficient with the time allotted. We had hired another artist to come to our home and do henna for the wedding party the previous day, and boy do we wish we had hired Wendy instead!! The other artist took her time, tried to draw out our time, and then charged an outrageous hourly rate. If we could go back, we would have given Wendy the reigns over ALL our henna events! Absolutely fantastic - Wendy made a house call for my little sister's Birthday. She was professional, easy to talk to, and very talented. The henna paste was of a very high quality, and my design lasted for three weeks with some self-care on my part in the form of coconut oil. I was so pleased, and my sister loved her design! Wendy was also very well versed on the history of henna and it's use as a form of body art - which made for an educational experience for my little sister. Wendy was amazing! I got my henna done by Wendy for a religious event and I'm so happy I went with her. She was quick to respond to my emails and worked with the samples I gave her to put together my design. Not only was she friendly and professional but her work is amazing. She also has a ton of knowledge about where the henna comes from and I was relieved to know she makes her own paste, which is organic and stains beautifully. We had an event at the university, and contacted 3 henna artists, all of whom replied in different ways. Wendy went out of her way to try to give us details as soon as we called. All artists had great work samples online, so we simply chose her for the way she replied to us. The event was at 6, she arrived exactly at 5:35, and set up her stand in less than 5 minutes. Very fast and efficient! a FULL hand design in 3minutes which is great for the number of people we had. She literally sat there for 2hours hand after hand, and finished EVERY girl's hand. She then stayed another 15 minutes to design the organizers's hands, and all she said was "I will go on until the henna is done". I would definitely recommend contacting wendy for an event, gathering, or simply getting a henna tattoo. Looking forward to seeing her again read more

Wendy is fantastic!! I met her at her home for my henna tattoo, she is very friendly and experienced. She has been doing them for over 20 years and did a beautiful job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly how I wanted it! It only took about 20-30 minutes and charged me $20 which was awesome!
