They also know what your goals are and support you to get there. I've been apart of other women-only spaces and know it's not uncommon for them to have cliques but it is not like that here. My first attempt to cancel was by email on March 4th, and I emailed again on March 16th when I didn't receive a response.I then went in person on a Sunday, as my contract allows cancellation in person. The manager, Lorenzo, was not there, and the front desk staff told me I could email him directly to cancel. I followed their instructions and sent the email. This morning, Lorenzo replied telling me that I cannot cancel by email and that I must come in person Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM -- even though I already went in person, and none of these requirements appear anywhere in my contract. My contract clearly states that cancellation can be done in person or by mail, with no mention of manager availability, weekday-only hours, or any other restrictions. Under the Texas Health Spa Act, gyms are not allowed to add extra cancellation conditions that aren't in the written agreement. The shifting explanations I received -- including in my recorded call with Lorenzo -- would not hold up under Texas consumer protection rules. I've filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General because this has now dragged on for nearly a month despite me following every instruction they gave me.It's a great gym overall, but if you ever move out of the city or need to cancel, be prepared for a stressful and unnecessary process. The facility is good, but the cancellation issues are simply not worth the headache. Stay away at all costs, Houston is literally saturated with so many gyms that this one is absolutely not worth the trouble.

It is not the kind of gym environment that is intimidating, it is motivating. Ross especially understands all types of people including ones that maybe have never worked out. The workouts are tough and you always leave feeling better and stronger. It is a combination of Cross Fit exercises and strength training. There are many class times available beginning at 5am Monday thru Friday. Ross is honest, knowledgeable and he really cares about all his clients and everyone in the classes. He will not let you slack and he will push you because he believes in you. The gym has 6 racks which allow us to do multiple exercises including; bench press, squats, pull-ups, ring rows and other exercises as well. There are multiple free weights, jump ropes, medicine balls and a GHD machine. There are also 7 row machines and a huge parking lot for running.
