Dave fixed it for me in under 15 minutes and reinforced the other hook for good measure and only charged me $15.

Their yard is an ever changing bounty of beautiful rocks sourced from several western states, including my favorites moss rocks. The stellar landscape contractor (Sterling) who installed our landscape plan used this source for boulders big and less big throughout our yard, including for water feature install at the back. They also drilled out a split smaller boulder to use in the front as a "birdbath bubbler" rock. If that is what you have in mind, Strickland has boulders of all sizes that are the right shape to do this. They also have on site some real stone benches that they've assembled and can make others from stone in the yard. And they were so nice when we went back on our own to find just one more perfect smaller boulder this week that the landscape contractor graciously offered to dig in for us in a spot in our front planting berm that was calling out to me to add this very boulder-ette to it. This company has some idiot drivers. He stupidly added a large amount of water and ruined a cold…read moreweather mix. The driver could not find my place and drove THROUGH a city park on the paths. He finally finds my home to do a driveway pour with colored and stamped concrete. I paid extra for a color wash out $35 and additive for cold weather. It was 45 degrees during the day. I paid for mix with .5% NCA 534 accelerating additive plus HOT water. The driver threw the entire bags of color in the drum, paper bag and all. This left shreds of paper and globs of pigment all through the surface of the concrete. I had to pick them all out of the floated surface and blend the little piles of pigment. He said color needed a wetter mix so he added a heap of water. The mix was so sloppy that it would not hold a gentle driveway slope. That extra water negated the cold weather accelerator/additive/drier. The concrete was sloppy for HOURS. The color and stamping came out horrible because the concrete would not harden properly. I was told the plant added soda ash to see how the mix would be. A slight freeze that night caused surface popping all over the stamped surface. The manager refuses to even come see the mess. THE G&B DRIVER SCREWED UP THE ENTIRE POUR BY ADDING WATER TO A COLD WEATHER MIX and not tearing the bags open and emptying them into the drum. The surface never cure strong. Chunks cracked out of the edges. G&B Redi Mix does not stand behind their product and send out idiots as drivers. The driver kept trying to clean up so he could leave. We needed more concrete to finish leveling where the concrete slipped down the slight slope. He refused. I paid for 4 yards but only needed 2 3/4 yards so there was plenty of MY concrete still in the truck. We ended up pushing large river rock into the concrete to make up for the low spots. It was easy to push a wheelbarrow full of fist size rock into the mix because the driver made the mix SO SLOPPY. I bet a slump test would result in a collapsed slump. I tried to pour a curb in the backyard and had to keep working the concrete back up for hours as it slipped down the curb slope. Thank you G&B Redi-Mix for leaving a load of crap. I see the quality of your concrete every time I walk on it.

The truck had 10 yds of wet cement and sloshed out some on our asphalt road by accident. When I called G&B about cleaning it up, they were first appalled that a driver had done that, but the Operations Manager drove out with brooms and shovels all the way from Nampa to assess the situation and take remedial action. Mike did just that, and then called another contractor in to sweep it up. He apologized many times for the incident and called back a day later just to make sure we were satisfied. Any company that goes that far out of their way for the public gets my vote for a contractor that I would hire for a pour! They want to do the right thing...all the time!
