Great work!! The crew came out and worked hard to get through this hard pan soil. I first thought a chain-link fence would work best for my "great escape dogs". But Jacob suggested a wrought iron fence and I am so glad he did. It is a beautiful fence. I recently had one of the gates come loose in one of the welded areas. Jeremiah came out and fixed it. PERFECTLY! I can't even tell there was a new weld put down. It's beautiful work. It was great, all I had to do was call and they had somebody right out to fix my problem. Updated Review: Originally I had some difficulty scheduling a bid with Boise Fence, but I received a call from the Owner Jake, who incredibly professionally listened to my concerns and came out personally to meet with me regarding my fence project and my tight timeline. Jake was highly communicative, very personable and highly knowledgeable on his craft and provided creative insights to improve my overall outcome. The team he brought out to do the work far exceeded my expectations, demonstrating skill and precision at every step. The project took less time than originally anticipated to complete, which was also an added bonus. Thanks to Jake and his team - Johnny and Kenny for their stellar performance and quality work. Under no circumstances should you use Certified Fencing. We hired them to install about $15,000 worth of fences in Boise and had nothing but problems. Two gates that they built simply fell over. When they came out to repair it they said that the whole fence was poorly built and they fired the crew that did the work. Then that gate they repaired fell over as well and they said the work was so poorly done they fired that person as well. Now when a third gate fell over they are saying that is our fault and that it was hit by a vehicle (no vehicles drive in that area). They are saying we need to pay $1,800 for them to rebuild the gate. Which is just more evidence of their poor work. It took months of calling to try to get them out to fix their poor work and now they are charging a significant amount for it. Don't hire them unless you want to waste money and hire another company to fix their work. read more

We had the best experience with Certified Fencing. They built a fence and a gate for us and we just contracted with them to build another gate on the other side of our property. We got competing quotes and theirs was the best. The fence is sturdy and beautiful and the gate functions well. The staff is friendly and hard working, even coming when it was freezing out! I was very impressed with their services, so much that I hired them a second time for another job soon thereafter. read more

To start, the only reason they recieve 2 stars is because Brent was a good salesman and tried to make things right. Too bad it still wasnt up to par. The cedar fence was dry set which is not how its supposed to be done. Then the gate was super wobbly and the attepmted to fix 2 times and still isnt fully up to the standard of professional install. Had 3 screws put in the siding of my new home due to poor worksmanship. They half ass everything they do. No happy after spending over 8k for this fence. Spend a little more and look elsewhere. The manager tried lying to me over and over til he was caught in his lies. Poor workmanship, lazy, careless work, low integrity. Very disappointing. read more

We had a horrible experience with Certified Fencing and are left with the ugliest fence I've ever seen. From the poor quality lumber to the badly aligned top board, the entire thing is horrendous. This was a shared fence with a neighbor who echoed our dissatisfaction throughout the process and we both attempted to communicate our concerns to management. They were not responsive and we were left with a fence that I am embarrassed to have on my property. read more

Certified Fencing (AKA Boise Fencing) now has a BBB rating of F. Please check BBB's website for details, but there are three unresolved complaints against Certified Fencing. In my case, they refused to talk to the BBB, or to work with me to find a resolution for the issues and errors that THEY made on my fence project. I highly recommend that you DO NOT use certified fencing for your fence project. read more

Very disappointed in Ceritified Fencing's customer service. They are very hard to get ahold of and did not deliver on time. Our fencing was not installed the date we were told, and we did not get a call to let us know that our fencing was postponed. Would not recommend. read more

This company is the absolute worst fencing company I have ever seen. After hiring them they were never on time, their crew tore up my yard, broke a bunch of my belongings. Jake, the "manager" will never call or email you back. They used sub par materials, some of my fence pickets are charred like they have been through a fire! Both gates have broken within the first wind storm, I had to fix no less than 5 irrigation lines they hit. They didn't cement 3 posts I have found so far. They priced out a stained fence, then only stained an 1/8th of it, I ended up spending 600 dollars on stain and doing it myself. The worst was the no show or the zero communication. They abandoned the project then 4 months later they email me saying their crew was scheduled to come "finish" the project. I told them not to set foot on my property. I dont know how they are still in business, this company needs to be shut down immediately! read more

Boise Fence made the fences we requested to our specifications and were more than willing to work with our timeline. A couple of issues with other home repairs threw off the fencing schedule but it was no problem at all. There were a few things about the fence that were initially not up to our standards but Colton came out and made all right. Both Brent and Colton responded quickly to questions or comments via text message. read more

This is a follow-up to my original post. After my many attempts to contact them failed, I found the phone number of Brent who originally estimated my project. He was very apologetic regarding my experience and explained what happened and why I hadn't received a return call. He vowed to remedy the situation ASAP and understood I was going to scrutinize everything. He personally scheduled my fence installation for the following week and made sure I was satisfied with the work before asking for payment.Thank you Brent for making all of the necessary efforts to satisfy this customer. read more

I called to get a quote on a small job. One of their associates came out, measured, and told me they'd send me a quote via email in two days. A week later I called, and got an excuse as to why i haven't received a quote. Called another week later and was told "He will get it out today". Called two days after that, sent to voicemail. Then I finally received a voicemail back with them stating "I'm not sure who told you they'd get back to you today....". Never heard back. Very unprofessional and frustrating. I decided to go with a more reliable company. read more

I would not recommend this company. We just had fencing installed by Jake under the company name of Boise Fence, now Certified Fencing. Our drive through gate needs adjusting beyond what we are able to do as homeowners. The gate does not function properly, is rubbing, has gaps underneath the fence, is sagging in the middle - which we were guaranteed it would not, and is why we selected the Active Yards product. I have attempted to reach Jake/Boise Fence through email, voicemail, website, facebook page, facebook message, and have left several reviews indicating the lack of customer service and ZERO response. Our neighbors builder was able to help facilitate some communication with Jake (which was also frustrating because our attempts continue to fail) and was promised that he would be out to the house to assess the gate for several days in a row and he was a no show. He told the builder that he came to the house, but we were home the entire day and can confirm that he did not arrive. The lack of communication and customer service, and the poor installation will likely leave you wishing you had chosen a different company. read more
