Shaun went above and beyond to ensure I had the equipment and supplies I needed! Very professional and friendly. This is the BEST place in town and having used other locations before, I insist on using the Parkway Drive location with Shaun as my go-to person. Highly recommend this location. It's the only one my family will use as nothing but top-notch experiences here. read more

It was an easy set up/move my belongings in, I locked it up, and left for 2 months. I thought everything was fine, no one was in MY storage unit. Then, I come back to get my things and MY LOCK WAS CHANGED. Unfortunately, I came on a Sunday so it was difficult getting ahold of someone to tell me what the hell is happening. FINALLY I got ahold of someone and they said I was emailed about getting into my unit to do some electrical work, but since I never responded, they just cut my lock and got in to do the work. Hearing this, I went to my email and SEARCHED for an email saying this, but I was unable to find any sort of email from them informing me they needed to get into my unit. (I sit at a desk all day for my job, I check my email every day, all day, I couldn't have missed this). They let me cut open their lock to get my belongings. Then, since I bought a lock and a hacksaw blade to cut their lock off, I asked to be reimbursed my $15 because it was an inconvenience for me. But, they won't respond to my emails anymore to reimburse me. So, long story short, I thought I liked this place for the rate I was getting, but I don't trust them anymore. I never got an email from them telling me they needed to get into my unit and now they won't reimburse me for my money. Rude and I won't be back.

There is a widespread misconception that foreign and/or luxury vehicles can only be properly maintained or repaired by their respective dealerships. It may be true that some repair shops do not possess the specialized skills and tools necessary to care for these vehicles. However, Tuffy's in Mount Pleasant has provided superior and inexpensive service for my fastidious Land Rover LR2. On my most recent visit, I had extensive work done to my rear differential, the radiator replaced, coolant leaks repaired, spark plugs replaced, the fuel injection system cleaned, the front differential inspected, an oil change performed and a light replaced. The most commendable aspect of the recent service is that they were unwavering in their price, despite numerous unforeseen setbacks and uncovering of additional damaged parts. They, unquestionably, took a significant financial loss to the tune of hundreds of dollars (possibly $1,000+) in the course of the above repairs. They wrote-off in excess of $800 in parts that were later found to be in need of repair, provided probably about 5 times the amount of labor billed for, waived many diagnosis fees and threw in a few of the smaller items for free. The above repairs cost me about $1750, but I am confident that Land Rover would have charged me in excess of $4,000 for the same repairs. Historically, there have been other repairs that I got done at Tuffy for 50% or less of what Land Rover quoted me. My experience with Land Rover Farmington Hills, on the other hand, has not been favorable. When I had a faulty PCV valve that resulted in a horrifically loud and high-pitched screech (but only after driving for 1-2 hours), they threw thousands of dollars of new parts at it while charging extensive diagnostic fees, only to have the problem unresolved. They had the vehicle for over 3.5 weeks time, would rarely return my calls, and never drove it enough for the symptom to present. Eventually, I brought it in to them after the symptom presented, but it took a collaboration of 3-4 technicians there to be able to figure out what the problem was.

I purchase tires regularly as a result of my high-mileage driving. This particular car is on its fourth set of tires. They most recent set was purchased from a well known chain with a lot of commercials bragging about low prices. Well I am here to say that chain does not compare to the customer service and quality tire I purchased from this Metro 25 franchise. My tires were ordered over the phone and an appointment made to install them the same day. (My tires aren't a common size.) I arrived on time for my appointment and about 1-hr later I was on my way with new tires installed. There was no upselling, much appreciated. Waiting area isn't beautiful, but it was large with plenty of room to move around with other waiting customers. No frills, so bring your own coffee and entertainment if you plan to wait on your car. I would highly recommend this business to friends and clients. They have earned all of my future automotive service needs.
