Unlike another reviewer, I have never dealt with fees at Westconsin. On the contrary, they have great options for earning interest on things like checking accounts. Highly recommend them!

I have been with Associated Bank for over 20 years and they have made some changes that I don't…read morereally care for. One of them is to not have their drive up open before 8 am and for this particular branch it's 9 am. Most people who need to use the bank will stop on the way to work or after work. Either way, it's a bit inconvenient. The nice thing is that they have lots of locations for ATM's in WI and MN. They have been rapidly expanding (buying regional banks) to become the largest WI/MN banking system. They now offer a debit card with rotating rewards based on where you shop. Recently, they added Caribou (which I like) and you get a reward when you shop there (like 15%). Hudson has 4 bank locations which I think is kind of overkill and only one in Woodbury off Radio drive which is kind of a pain in the butt to get to. I rarely go into the bank but the handful of times I did, they were always friendly and helpful. They have a decent banking website which makes it easy to reconcile my account during the month (between statements). They also have agreements with some banks like Bremer so you can get cash at those ATM's without fees. All in all a decent bank compared to the big banks.

If you go into the Hudson branch, the people are extremely rude & clearly do not want to help. Same goes if you call the branch, they say no one is there to help, call a different day. Our debit cards have continuously not worked, so we call & all they say is everything's looks fine. We have plenty of money in our account, but yet our cards get declined. We called to complain because we obviously need access to our money & then they closed our accounts. We moved to Chase Bank in Hudson & have been extremely satisfied with their service. Save yourself the headache & do not go to MidwestOne.
